《Hello Nightmare》10

"Oh…hey…" Hiroshi tries to call the corpse who obviously doesn't answer.
"What type of work are you doing?" Hiroshi touched their bodies.
“…”
“Hm, they must be tired of working…”
He ignored it and went back to sleep. He's not panicking.
…
"What should I do today?" Andy opens her house window in her bedroom on the second floor. A double-storey terrace house. She's wearing a white singlet with white short pants.
"Anzu!" Himiko enters her house from the window.
“Sometimes you call me by my name, sometimes you call me ‘ma’am’, can’t you stick to one?” Anzu asked.
“It's not a big matter you know…As long as you know I'm calling you,” Himiko replied.
“Whatever…What do you want to ask?"
“Do you get anything from the Nightmare?" she asked in fox form.
"No, he doesn't let me enter his house."
"Then, why don't you use force?”
"I already ran out of bullets. How can I force him?"
"Huh…"
"I'll get an extra bullet from the old man. Then maybe I'll do something. But, it's a holiday. I'll have to go to his home again," Anzu said.
"You want my illusion?” Himiko transforms into a human.
"Of course, I don't want to take any risk of innocent citizen involvement," Anzu said.
"Oh, but that's not the case with the nurse or the boy from yesterday…" Himiko said in an unsatisfied tone.
"Well, if they are the ones who interfere. I can't do anything," Anzu said.
"How did the boy interfere? You are the one who drags him. The nurse is also just doing her job. Himiko said.
"Oh, you don't want to blame your illusion that can only be used in certain areas? Out of every empty room in the school. You can only use it in the nurse room..." Anzu said.

"H-huh? You know my power has its restrictions too. You should choose any other place in the world,” Himiko defended herself.
"Imagine out of a hundred rooms, you can only use it in one room. You think I'll consider doing it somewhere with more packed people?"
"Ergh! You only care about yourself! Don't say like people's lives matter to you!" Himiko yelled.
"Heh...the irony is it comes from your mouth...a Daymare's mouth. How many people are being sacrificed to make one of you?" Anzu mocks her.
"H-huh? What are you saying? That is just an illusionary conspiracy from your mind! You don't know anything about us!"
"And you know nothing about me...so it's fair to just do our job that will benefit each other right? I have my objective, and you have yours...Don't you want to get revenge for your parents?" Anzu said.
Himiko is silent as she doesn't want to continue their conversation.
"Good, we'll go to his house first," Anzu said.
In front of Hiroshi’s house,
“Don’t worry, work hard. I’ll lock the door so no one can interrupt your work.” Hiroshi said to the corpses before closing the door.
I almost forgot today is the day…I'll doom if I fell asleep back then…huh…
Hiroshi stretched his body before coming down the stairs. He was wearing an all-black t-shirt and tracksuit.
A minute later, he arrived at a park named Klaka Park.
“Ah! Hiroshi! You're late!” an old granny called him while she was carrying a semi-broken vase.
Hiroshi met her without saying a word. She drops the vase and Hiroshi takes it to a man who is waiting beside a small hole.
Meanwhile,
“Hello! Hello!” Anzu knocks on Hiroshi’s door. She's wearing a blue t-shirt with black trousers.

“I don’t think he’s in the house.” Himiko standing behind Anzu. As always, she's wearing an all-white dress.
“Yeah…can you track him?” Anzu asked.
“Krkkk…” suddenly, the door open itself and caught their attention.
“Huh…there’s no one opening it…I’m sure it’s locked before,” Anzu takes a peek on the other side of the door, “Well, why don’t we investigate a little?”
She entered Hiroshi’s house.
“Hey, this is wrong…you are doing a crime right now. We don’t have permission to enter…” Himiko whispered as she was afraid someone would find them suspicious.
“Huh? Then you stay outside, rule freak…” Anzu said while she took off her shoes.
"Sheshh! Ah, whatever!" Himiko, who was frustrated, finally decided to enter too.
After they finished searching the house,
"There's absolutely nothing in here, just like an abandoned house…" Himiko said.
"Yeah, no furniture, bed, curtain, closet or anything in it. Did he really just live in the empty house? Where are his clothes?” Anzu said.
" Huh, he is a Nightmare after all, of course, we shouldn't think he lives like normal people," Himiko stated.
They are fed up with searching for something in the house and exit the house to search for Hiroshi.
"Help...help…"
A whisper comes from Hiroshi's house after the exit but it doesn't reach their hearing.

Reborn Magician Tyrant [Old]
Author's Note #4: This is the old, hastily written version. A great magician from the Human Kingdom travels west to fight the Demon Kingdom. Finally, after eight long years of war, the Human Kingdom emerges triumphant! But, just as the Human Kingdom begins to celebrate the victory, an enemy from a land far to the east attacks! After rushing to help support the Human Kingdom capital against the assault, the magician is met with the sight of his beloved city razed to the ground. The magician fights off whatever invaders he can, using whatever tactics he knows, but he is eventually felled in combat due to the superior abilities of the invaders. However, death is not the end! The magician reincarnates, awakening as a citizen of the empire which conquered his home! Author's Note #3: Okay, that's the end for me. This is too boring for me to continue writing, and I've gotten back to writing Reborn as a Dungeon Core in an Apocalyptic World. At 26,772 words, this has gotten too boring for me to continue. I'm probably going to take this basic story and rewrite it into something way better w/ longer chapters, but at least I had fun for the six days it took to write this much. PS - Love the reviews; they're great. Way to go, dude with 22 thumbs up and 0 thumbs down!

Greys II - Ghosts
There he stood, dark eyes, dark hair, beautiful in the most devastating of ways. It scared me how little he had changed, his hair was longer and black, his frame thinner, like he hadn't eaten since I last saw him. His eyes were different, lacking something they had always held before, lacking anything really, and yet he was the same. He looked weak, but I knew he wasn't. "Hi, angel."His voice was just as dead as his eyes. It sent a shiver up my spine. That was the reason I felt sick, that was the reason he seemed different. He was dead, and as much as I wanted to hate him, I was sad he was empty, sad he wasn't the same man anymore."Hello, Gabriel."My voice came out softer than I would have liked, the words burning my tongue. But it didn't matter, I got the desired effect even if the volume wasn't there. He flinched, his eyes widening, his eyebrows twitching up and together, his jaw setting for just a moment. But then it was gone and he looked away, death settling back in his eyes, in the lines of his face.» ✦ «#2 in Angel Romance#3 in Demonology#11 in Thriller#Mature, 18+ for all the reasons. Not a YA novel (again).**Due to disturbing themes, violence, depression, language and literally everything else, this is not for the kids. Ghosts is darker than Intentions. But you need to live in the dark to appreciate the light...or at least, the lighter grays 🖤🖤
