《Zoomchard: The Battle of Dominance(Cancelled)》2: The First Mission for The Rookie Soldier #2

“Smile brightly, my son.” An angelic female voice shined by the blinding white, only revealing the affectionate smile as my vision began to get blurrier as each second passed.

“Mother…?” I forced out with a croaking voice before I awoke into a hellish area lifted by the atrocious flames that ripped through the blackened clouds. It was another dream again, a dream that keeps showing up when I forget it. After realising where I was I exhaled a long-awaited sigh and set myself up to watch the city in front rotting to the metallic scraped ground where evergreen nature from the core of the planet outgrows the forthcoming death.

Where I sat had plain stairs leading down into the city and leading up to a leader that has killed numerous civilians and rules an empire that has caused havoc for many centuries. Leader of the Tretse Federation, Uilliam - from the help of my analysing abilities I learnt there were thousands of more statues of this evil narcissist. He seemed to enjoy showing a deprived civilisation who was doing all the harm, knowing none of them can revolt against their master.

Since I’m talking about this topic about a nation. My nation is one of 998,654 countries that exist on this large planet, nearly larger than the sun. Conaire is the 789th smallest country while Tretse Federation is the third biggest country followed by the second largest, Iyun; a nation with blue eyes. The largest nation is Lekinghum, a nation with red eyes that spans 8,991,123,123 kilometres. Dior is ranked 13th in the largest and Rhys is ranked 109th in the smallest.

As I rehearsed the history of my home planet, a boom followed by a roar screamed across the sprinkled orange clouds far in the distance giving all that they have left to revive a planet that is bound to die fully. It was a black triangular object with high speeds as clouds rippled around the speeding object, what is called a fighter jet.

"Wait…fighter jet?" I questioned myself, coming to the realisation I just spotted a soldier belonging to the Tretse Federation landing on something I didn't see before. It was an enormous building painted in the darkest black as ominous horns jetted from out of the sides of the tall tower crossing through the cloud barrier. A long single bridge was seen extending from a massive gaping hole where the Treste soldier wandered inside after getting out of their fighter jet.

I instinctively jumped up from my position and ran across the roads covered by tall structures to avoid any awareness of my surroundings. It took a long while but once I reached the legs of the bridge that was 100x bigger than me; I clawed my hands into the metal leg and began climbing up the walls slowly. Upon arriving at the destination, taken back from the view of the arriving sunset, I rolled over onto the bridge to avoid falling back down and smashing every part of my body that would lead my life to death.

"Come on now, Zoomchard. You have a reason why you signed up for the military." I said, trying to convince myself just as bullet traces rip past my left ear. As I jolted with fear, my body kicked my legs up and flopped me onto the ground with a rough pressure that created a loud clunk as I collided.

"You know what? I don't know what a military is even more." I whistled as I climbed down the bridge with a quick change of mind. Look, ok? There are limits.

"Hey! Halt in the actions you are doing immediately or I will have the order to shoot!" The foreign soldier yelled in a different language. Luckily, I learnt over 546 languages so I knew the basics of what he was saying to me.

"Ah? Oh! Hello, I was just exploring this bridge. Didn't know it was a military-owned property." I cackled nervously, reminding myself that I have to chat in their fluent language or I will be shot dead.

"You're just a Treste civilian? Jesus, man, you can't be wandering in places like these." The soldier sighed with relief, dismantling his gun on the right arm back into a hand.

"Sorry about that. The curiosity got the better of me." I laughed with a bright aura as I stood myself up, holding my hands high to show I wasn't a threat. Like my prediction, the soldier, unaware, walked over to me to temporarily detain me until I knew my directions back.

"That's alright, just thank whoever you have hopes in that I am not a jerk." The soldier smiled brightly as he dragged me into the building wrapped around by yellow ominous lights slashed off by stairways that lead to another floor every ten meters high. It was something new I experienced, the adrenaline of hanging out behind enemy weak spots almost got me caught with the massive smile I had that silently made its way on my face.

"Just a personal question. How many soldiers are here at the moment?" I asked, looking up into the endless loop of darkness battling with the light.

"Well, it's a weird one but I'll answer. At the moment, there's 45 patrolling this point - I just got here, so I just began my shift." The soldier answered with a warm touch surrounding it.

It was all I needed to know to investigate this mysterious building that even the Conaire Army didn't know about. Before I made my move, I waited for the soldier to turn around and snapped his neck, but not wanting to make any noises, I tucked my hands under his back and slowly laid him across the floor before jogging my way up the stairs with a small designed pistol.

For a heavily patrolled building, it was very abandoned and empty with nothing but overlapped by a few distant clanking of soldiers that stayed silent in their shifts. Then, on the 37th floor, I spotted a female soldier minding her business, tapping away on her screen tucked in a small corner of what seemed to be a military storage room filled with the brink of explosives. The female soldier was a solid blue colour and stood 9'5 foot tall with a petite structure, but appreciating the beauty of our species wasn't going to stop me from snapping her neck. She didn't expect it - but once I got my hands tunnelled around her buffed neck, I wasted no time and popped her head sideways to end her looped misery.

Well, I wasn't exaggerating the last part. It honestly seemed like she was suffering from some form of misery from her chat history with someone that had the eyes of the country I represented. With enough time though, I replied to the user with:

"I'm sorry to inform you about this. But your colleague has been killed by a soldier on a mission from the Conaire Nation. I'd advise you to stop texting the enemy and revealing our plans because I just logged your location and your history to the Army. Bye-bye."

After sending that reply, I switched off the power that was boosting the screen and closed the eyes of the soldier I just murdered to wish her a peaceful afterlife. Although I am on a revenge journey, it doesn't mean I want to kill the individuals on it.

I'm just finding the ones who have taken three precious things away from me.
