"take your lenses off for a moment and wear mine"

"it's stupid" you say

but you're still wearing contacts

"try on my shoes" I requested

"But they would never fit me" you avoided

"have you ever tried?"

"can't be bothered with it"

doesn't that make you heartless

but a frigid heart bothers you not

"it's only fair because of what I've been through"

I'm not denying the past

but you can always try to make it better

learn from it but do not allow it to control you

feel my heart in my chest, beating

millions out there who are the same

and learn to stand
