So I'm sure some of you may have been wondering why I've pulled a disappearing act for the second time now.

Basically it's just because I've been lazy. It started off with me visiting my family in the U.S. and wanting to focus on spending a bit more time with them, but then when I got back I came face to face with the annual christmas stress and had to plan around not only getting everyone presents, but also preparing for my own birthday party. (I had a seperate party on every day from the 23rd to the 27th!)

Then comes the new year and with it, the start of my new job (hurray), which now eats into my time even more. And I gotta tell you, finding the motivation to work in the evening after having been awake since 6 o'clock is pretty tough, especially for a lazy bum like me.

However, while I have

All that's left now is to rework chapter 18 & 19, though I'm pretty happy with the way those are right now, and then finally upload the drafts that have been wasting away on the royalroad server's for the past two months (after also reworking those a bit).

So, to sum it all up: No I'm not dead, just lazy. Yes I will continue working on this story. The next completely new chapter should be uploaded sometime in the near(ish) future. And if anyone can't bear waiting for another while, they can reread the past 17 Chapters for some new content (or just to refresh their memory a bit).
