It had been 7 days since Anderson returned. Anderson was promoted to Landlord from previously serving as leader of expedition squad. Landlord is a position that occupies a territory and is responsible for nature exploitation and locals, the cheap laborers. Now, Anderson was an official of Hindibel government that controls the southern part of Southeast Asia.

Anderson's territory is a city called Pandang. Pandang city's main products are coal mines and high quality limestone which can be processed into cement. According to Anderson, the limestone mining here is no less crucial than the coal mine. The Hindibel government definitely needed building materials to build forts during the expansion of the territory. The cement production only started this year, in 1910 to be exact. The cement factory was built at Anderson's request after waiting for the approval process for 3 years. This is where Anderson started his foundation in this area.

Anderson's promotion made him granted access to informations that only for officials. Of the many informations, there are two things that according to Anderson's intuition would made him promoted quickly.

First is about existence of mutants among the locals. Mutants are humans with unique ability such as elemental control, invisibility, immunity, body transformation, and so on. In fact, these mutants were the most troublesome for Hindibel government in the early colonial period, considering their backward weaponry. Luckily they are stupid and easy to manipulate. They just made the mutants kills each other or by using their people as a hostage and asking them to surrender. When captured, even those who had tough body would perish by being run over by tanks or corrosive liquids. About mutants, Anderson was assigned to capture them alive. Anderson didn't know why the higher-up was looking for mutants. He couldn't get the answer considering his level.

The second is about martial arts. Hindibel government got ancient texts containing body training techniques. Practitioners of this technique could have a stronger physique and are immune from disease. In addition, to a certain degree martial arts practitioners could increase their lifespan.

This information made Anderson laugh even while sleeping. Every official was entitled to a copy of the text. However, to be able to hold the copy requires a long legal process. In fact this is what kept Anderson in his country for quite a long time. After returning, Anderson still had to wait 5 days to get a copy from another Landlord. Anderson suspected this copy was different from the original in government custody. After all, the copy was specially reserved for low-level officials like himself.

Anderson, who had high ambitions from the start, became more and more interested. Starting from his marriage to Elisa Willburg which made him enter a noble family from the Belan kingdom, to becoming an official of the Hindibel government formed by the Belan kingdom, Anderson, who was originally an ordinary person, became more hungry of power.

And so Anderson began to work out his plans. Anderson ordered his men to make an announcement to the locals about some demonic cults roaming around and ordered them to immediately report if they saw any suspicious persons. Especially the ones with strange abilities called demon apostles.

Anderson himself plans to stay at his residence to practice marital art. The process is not easy. First step was spirit gathering. A human being has four spirits and main soul when born. Different from mutants whose soul and spirits are fused. For most people, two of their four spirits separate when they were born. The first step of becoming a martial artist is to reassemble all four within the body.

Each spirit has its own function in martial arts, namely an energy absorber called Kanda Spirit, an energy distributor called Geti Spirit, an energy center and compressor called Navel Spirit, and an energy manipulator called Ari Spirit. Usually Kanda Spirit and Ari Spirit are separated from the main body. Without Kanda Spirit, humans cannot feel the natural energy around and only gather energy by eating and drinking.

There is a nature energy that is very beneficial to a martial artist called primordial energy. This energy can only be absorbed from the environment through Kanda Spirit. Flowing primodial energy in the body could increase physical abilities, depending on the ability of Getih Spirit and level of concentration of primodial energy. The concentration level of primodial energy depended on the compression ability of Navel Spirit. Whereas with Ari Spirit, one could manifest primodial energy into other forms such as protective barrier or weapon.

The four spirits need to be trained simultaneously. Kanda Spirit for absorption speed, Getih Spirit for distribution speed and precision, Navel Spirit for maximum limit storage and compression, and Ari Spirit for manifestation.

Unfortunately, before that, Anderson had to think hard for more urgent matters. His wife, Elisa, had been angry for a week because of what Anderson had done to the orphanage. Anderson had to sleep in front of the house all this time to quell his wife's anger.
