Anderson could apply as an official was the credit of his wife's family who was a member of the Belan royal family. Anderson did not expect his wife to be angry over such a trivial act. Maybe elisa felt sympathy for people at the orphanage after having been close for some time, but for Anderson everything ends well. Indeed, the death of John gave Anderson a little trouble.
Johanes was not from the Hindibel government, but he belongs to the European elite who have an equal position to them. Fortunately the European elite had no power in the region, Anderson only needed to make a written report and send some "condolences" to the European elite.
"Sir, the package has arrived," whispered one of Anderson's men who had come closer. Anderson was pleased to hear that. He had been waiting for this package for almost 7 days.
"Good, let him in," Anderson ordered his men. Then he entered the house and knocked on master room door.
"Honey, I have a surprise for you!" Anderson shouted into the room in front of him.
"Is that complete list and details of legends from southern mountain area?" A female voice came from inside the room.
"Sure, I even secured a copy of Debois' archaeological record." Anderson knew very well what his wife wanted. Actually his wife had wanted this for a long time, but Anderson didn't have enough authority. Now, he had equal status to Landlords in other areas, he just need to make a request. He could use this to quell his wife's anger.
"But honey, about that..." Anderson alluded to the incident that have angered Elisa for a week.
"Promise me you won't act stupid again!" Elisa's voice didn't sound as cold as before. Anderson was very happy to hear that, this meant his wife's anger had decreased.

"Sure of course, I promise not to act impulsively again" Anderson replied happily.
Anderson then headed for the courier who brought a box with edges size more than a meter. Top body of the courier was nowhere to be seen and he was already inside the house waiting for Anderson to tell him where to drop off the box.
With his bulk body, Anderson easily took the box by one hand from the courier. Anderson's other hand took some Golda, the Hindibel government's money wich has the most stable exchange rate. He gave it to the courier and said "Share this with others".
Anderson was very generous because he was in a good mood. He didn't care about the courier who immediately turned to outside. Giving Golda as a tip was a great thing, and Anderson understood the courier's attitude.
Anderson then brought the box into the room. Inside was a woman in a white dress. Long straight blonde hair but curly at the bottom and a cold looking face. He has a small build that contrasts to Anderson. The woman was Elisa Willburg. She walked over to where Anderson was standing and then past over him to the exit.
"Just put it on the table, I need to do something else" without turning to look at Anderson, Elisa stepped out and left.
Anderson didn't have time to say anything to her, he could only watch his wife leave. Elisa has always been like this. Even though she has forgiven him, it doesn't mean Elisa will forget her anger immediately. It usually takes a few months for it to cool down.
Anderson didn't think about it any further. After all it was only a matter of time for his wife to normal again. After placing the box on table, he then lay down on the mattress he hadn't occupied in a long time and then closed his eyes.

Anderson woke not long after closing his eyes. One of his subordinates knocked violently on the door. Anderson felt displeased at being forcefully awakened.
"What?" Anderson said in a tone that sounded displeased as he thought to himself 'I'll cut his finger off if it's not important'.
"Sir, two barns up north is on fire," said Anderson's terrified subordinate.
"WHAT?" Anderson got out of bed and walked out of the room. After seeing his subordinates who were drenched in sweat, he said "Take me there".
While walking towards the black smoke that could be seen in the distance, Anderson thought about various things. This kind of fire has never happened before, for at least 5 years after the resitance group has purged. Plus, not only one barn caught fire. Anderson assumed someone had set it on fire.
People who dare to do this kind of thing are only the resistance group, but they have been cleared up in the surrounding area. Soldiers regularly patrol the area and Anderson believes there are no resistance groups left here.
After thinking about it a bit, a suspicious person came to his mind. It was the courier who delivered package to their residence a while ago. The person looked away when Anderson was about to see him.
"Bring some people and go after the courier!" Anderson ordered his subordinates who were walking with him in direction of the fire to occur. Anderson's subordinate immediately carried out the order and turned other way.

Trickster's Tale (Book 1): Is That A Lute In Your Pocket will release on Kindle Unlimited on the 10th of May.Due to KU's exclusivity rules, I've had to take most of book 1 down.Book 1 Bard's Ballad takes place in the same extended Universe as my other story, The Houndsman. It's set on a distant 'disk', though. As a result, the magic system is unique in comparison and has a harder LitRPG system. While the story utilises stats, it doesn't take them seriously and occasionally makes fun of regular LitRPG mechanics.
