Well sorry for the delay all, had to set up my house to scare kids lol. Plus side is, I got a lot of chocolate left for myself bwhahahaha.
If anyone can write a review with any ideas or rate me a bit more ^^ i still also looking for a PR to abuse lol.
-----Samuel’s POV-----
After looking around for a while, I spotted a weak lvl 2 skeleton. I start to ‘grin’ to myself, which cause my eyes to burn a bit brighter. As I got ready to test out my new spell, burn.
I pointed my hand at it and said “Burn” which causes a fire to burst in to being around the skeleton. It started to make a crackling noise and run around surprised noted the damage fast that inside of 3hp I got a bigger number of 9hp, followed by a few -1s till it fell over and stopped moving.
“Well that was a lot more effective than I thought; they must have the same weakness I do to fire and holy. That is good to know” I nodded a bit and tilted my head some. I looked at Sophie. “Hey Sophie is it me or all the other undead only have blue flames? Also seem that burn spell did more damage than I thought which good, can grind out some lvls faster now I think till my mp drops to nothing.”
“Well you are right even when I was alive I never say a skeleton with red flames before. Maybe it cause you are a hero or they type of undead you are. It marks you are rare so might want to be careful. There could always be at some point someone that hunts rare monsters or try to ‘collect’ you for them else.” Sophie smiled and laughed lightly,” well from what you told me you int pretty high for a skeleton and most take extra damage from fire as you said. There only a few variants that do not, like flame giant skeleton, dragon undead at time and the like.”

-----Sophie’s POV-----
Well I died a while ago and drifted to the undead lands after my death to avoid being exorcised by any priest. I found a few things out after my death which where useful then one day drifting along the center of the continent, I found an odd skeleton walking around. I been around for a while now and seen many types of skeletons in my life and more after me death. Normally they have some equipment and blue flames in their eye sockets. It then started to talk to me all of a sudden.
After a while and some questions, it seems this skeleton was like me, someone from another word. It also seems that the same goddesses that killed me seem to be on his bad side as well. So we made a party and I followed him and taught him a few things that good to know. He was odd for a skeleton, as he seems to be cursed and very weak physically. However, he still won a lot of fight due to being well trained in close combat.
I asked him about himself at times when he took breaks about himself. I learned he took a lot of weapon and hands to hands combat classes before he died. He normal a nice guy and tried to help people most of the time. Now that he was reborn here he trying to figure out where to go, how to get stronger, and he really wanted to get back at Kohena for her unjust treatment and for the fact she tried to kill a kid just to collect him for herself. Since he did well and never pushed himself to hard, yet I rarely did anything to help him. I mostly just watched his back and made sure he did not get over his head.
After some time I decided to teach him a basic magic since he seem to have mana to spare now. So I taught him Burn, a standard spell mostly used to light fires and to get one use to using magic. After he learned it he seem pretty happy as his eyes burned brighter and it seems his skull grinned wider. I was surprised he learned it so quickly as it took me a week to get the hang of it myself. After he was comfortable with the spell he test it on a weak skeleton and nearly killed it in one cast. I remember what his stats where and did not see anything that would improve the spell output that much. I thought he do around 5 or 6 damage but instead he did 9.

After some thinking, I decided I’ll watch him as he walked around casting Burn a few more times till his mana started to run low and he stopped. Between each attack, he take a few bones or teeth form the undead he killed. Occasionally he find a minor core and put it in his storage bag so it be safe. While other things he kept in a pack, he picked up before I found him.
“So why you keep taking the bones and teeth?” I asked him wondering after a while.
“Well I looked at them before and seem they can be used for alchemy so might be useful or sell for little once I find a town that not kill me on sight.” Samael answer back as he rested a little waiting for his mana to refill.
“Well Samael once you strong enough I think there a town that is safe for you close by. It ruled by intelligent undead and a few mages that ally with our kind.” I talk him and smiled,” there also some necromancers around that studying the local undead so they can gain deeper knowledge of death to help them with their research. “
“I see and the reason we not head out yet is that I’m too weak huh, which means there stronger undead out there that will target me. While you can easily fly away or sneak by safely huh ?” Samael rubbed his head some, seems to be a habit from when he head hair, while his teeth lightly chattered together. He seems to sigh some, which cause his bones to creak loudly.
After that, we kept talking as he walked burning other skeletons until he stopped and his eyes burned brighter and a dark aura of flames wrapped around him. I thought some to myself *so that how he looks as he levels up, I wonder why.* I was watching him and then I asked him “ can you show my your status ?”
“sure…”
-----Samuel's POV-----
“Here you go” I said and smiled at Sophie,"shows Sophie basic Status."

This fiction belongs to the same universe as Ancient Blood. English is not my native language, so please don't be harsh. This story is an adaption of an idea, that we, a friend of mine and me, have developed over a few months while taking a break from learning. Some parts were written by Emberspark.
