《I'm a hero? Nope, familiar》Chapter 4. I'm not a teddy bear!

After ten or so minutes of getting my ears petted, a sudden click perpetuates throughout the room.
At the sound, the goddess stops petting my ears, allowing me to open my eyes. How does that even effect them? Imma have to look into that later... I hope its nothing too embarrassing.
Anyways what I see before me almost shocks me, but being right next to a goddess lowers the shock factor. A door appeared out of nowhere, and after opening, out comes a man who, I swear looks like a model. Are the gods freaking beautiful?! Gods dammit...
"Chernyl, we have to get those mortals going soon" said the god with a deep tone.
"Ok Luffy." Said the goddess. Who would name a god Luffy?!
"Chernyl, please don't call me that, I'm a god of knowledge, that makes me sound like an idiot." He said in a reprimanding tone, but didn't sound as serious as before.
Ok Lufnus but stop calling my whole name, it sounds creepy when you do it." She said, then started petting my ears again. Noooooo, staaaaahhhhpp. It feels good, but stop ittttt. I managed to keep my eyes open this time, but I'm like butter to this girl's petting. Please tell me she isn't the goddess of petting?!
The god gives a pretend shocked look and then after says,
"Okay Cher". He said with a soft smile on his face before proceeding to say,
"Ok time to send the mortals Cher, they're doing the hero summon."
"Oki" said Chernyl the goddess, before waving her hand in the 'talk to the hand' pose towards everyone who was summoned. I closed my eyes seeing this because I REALLY didn't want that nauseous feeling again, but to my shock nothing happened. Well to me that is. I was still sitting next to her being petted.... And everyone else was gone except for Chernyl and Lufnus.

"Cher.... You can't keep him." Said Lufnus.
"But Luffy...! He's soooooo sooofffttttt." She complained. What am I? A teddy bear to you?!
"Cher, you can't keep the fox-kin, I would have to give it a piece of my divinity to keep it alive here, and look you're upsetting Arte." To which a heard something voicing its displeasure, ...and I'm a fox?
I look over, still being petted, and see a fox over next to Lufnus' feet. When did that get there?
Chernyl stops petting me thankfully, but I feel a sudden pull, and now she's next to the fox named Arte and so am I.... But now my head is on her lap and she resumed petting my ears while petting Arte. Gods dammit.... I can't move at all... Whyyyy....
"Cher..." Says Lufnus with a warning tone in his voice.
"Ok...." She said in a disappointed voice... Oh, she's pouting again.
"... He's so soft but ok" she continued,
"Bye bye, Niles" she said my name as she made me get summoned, but I couldn't really wonder how she knew because I was too worried about my surroundings changing into what I could only call a mirage of colors. It was rather pretty.
Also, the fact that I felt like I was falling did NOT help my concentration whatsoever.
If not for that I would've been mesmerized by the colors.
............I'm still falling........
.........still falling.......................
......................I'm getting bored....
...d..did something go wrong......?
.....she's a god.... So it couldn't....
....right?...................RIGHT?!

Bone Dungeon: Book 1 in the Elemental Dungeon Series
Ryan doesn't remember much about his life before becoming a dungeon core. Only that he had a bit of a disagreement with the church -- something to do with a beheading? Now reborn, Ryan begins to arm his darkness dungeon with devious traps, bestial zombies and ill-named skeletal creations, without doing anything too evil. Well, mostly. Some adventurers just deserve a stalactite to the head. But Ryan quickly learns being a darkness dungeon isn't all loot and bone puns. With a necromancer on the rise and the Adventurer's Guild watching his every move, he must prove that not all darkness dungeons are malevolent... even if they do have a few skeletons in their caverns. Sadly, all of these issues keep distracting him from his own guilty pleasure, skeletal fight club. But don't tell his fairy about that. **** I have recieved permission from the publisher to share the first 8 chatpers of the story, as a sample (I am the author of this book) **** If you like what you've read, feel free to hop over to Amazon and check out the full story!
