After being knocked back by a lord rank's force, getting hit in the balls thrice and being punched in the face, it is safe to say that Lucas is very pissed off right now.

Once Lucas stood up, he started running with power infused limbs. His steps were releasing powerful shockwaves that was destroying his immediate surroundings.

Elizabeth leaves Carlo for now, knowing that she can't contribute much to the battle so she gives him some space.

Elizabeth is suddenly sent flying by a powerful shockwave as Lucas appeared with sound like speed and clashed with Carlo who responded with almost equal strength.

Lucas punches Carlo with all his strength.

Carlo and his core suit responded by catching his blow. The suit locks itself to the ground through magnetic energy and Carlo counters using his enhanced strength.

Lucas dodges Carlo's attack and manifests a psychic dagger and stabs it quickly towards the core suit's armor.

The psychic dagger stops a few inches away from the core suit after hitting a transparent energy field created by the suit.

Carlo opens his palms and quickly points it at Lucas' face.

A powerful burst of energy hits Lucas straight on the face and he gets knocked back a few feet away.

Before he could recover, Carlo immediately dashes forward delivers a powerful kick towards Lucas' stomach.

Lucas grunts as he's forced down but Carlo immediately follows up by uppercutting him.

Elizabeth who is slowly sneaking away is coughing from the smoke but she's mostly okay.

Lucas and Carlo continue their fight but Carlo pushes him back through the barrage of the suit's advanced weapons.

A robotic voice talks to Carlo as he pummels Lucas' with a dozen punches.

Carlo punches forward but Lucas' manages to catch it.

Carlo suddenly releases the magnetic footing and quickly turns around.

The back of the suit suddenly opens as dozens of rocket tubes show themselves.

Dozens of miniaturized missiles get created by the nanotech of the suit and charge straight towards Lucas.

Lucas tries to project a field but they were too fast and point blank and hit him straight in the body.

Lucas suddenly manifests gauntlets made out of psychic energy and starts punching Carlo with superhuman speed.

The sound of something big hitting a hard wall keeps resounding as Carlo desperately tries to block Lucas' barrage.

Carlo's arms suddenly become thicker as two a hundred ton gauntlets materialize from the suit's nanotech.

Carlo blocks with them and when he gets the proper timing of Lucas' blows, he dashes in and throws a punch with a force of a peak beast rank enhanced by a 100 ton gauntlet.

Lucas gets blown away from the powerful punch.

Carlo capitalizes and moves forward.

He raises both 100 ton gauntlets and smash them on the still mid air Lucas.

Carlo's core suit suddenly materializes jackhammers that connect to the 100 ton gauntlets.

Lucas could feel his bones starting to get damaged as two 100 ton fists rain on him with continuous rage.

Lucas tries to manifest a psychic barrier but before it can reach its full power, it gets jackhammered into nothing.

Carlo pants as the constant usage of his power has drained him. The core powering his suit is still fully powered but his body is starting to become very tired.

After the high powered beam of energy, Lucas surely must be dead or at least damaged to the point he would surrender or leave.

Suddenly from the depths of the disintegrated ground, a bloody Lucas appears with a manifested barrier and gloves.

Carlo tries to react but his tired body can't move fast enough.

Lucas punches Carlo in the metal mask sending him through many walls.

Lucas immediately runs and follows.

Before Carlo's body could fall, Lucas immediately attacks and grabs the suit by the neck.

Lucas slams the suit through the wall and runs besides it, dragging the suit through solid concrete.

The suit suddenly releases a powerful burst of electricity and lighting, shocking Lucas and pushing him away.

Carlo falls down as Lucas gets pushed back.

Carlo stands up and uses the core's energy to recreate and fix the damaged parts of the suit.

Lucas pants as he stares at Carlo.

Carlo acts stoic and unaffected but currently he's slowly blacking out.

Both of them are tired and exhausted.

I'm still not fully adjusted to my current strength....

Lucas on the other hand takes a careful look at his wounds and sighs.

Carlo smiles underneath his metal mask.

Unfortunately for this man, one needs to be at least low lord rank to be able to use their psychic energy to regenerate wounds. For now he can only use his psychic energy to move broken body parts.

Lucas stretches a little then quickly dashes forward.

Carlo sticks both of his forearms and his suit materializes a dense metallic shield.

While the two meta humans were fighting for their lives, another superhuman is currently walking away from the disaster area.

Slightly wounded with very ruffled clothes, Elizabeth is currently looking for someone.

The facility is currently in lock down. That means that Karthen person is still in here. If he still is, I can recover the files and present it back to the doctors.

Elizabeth returns to the place where Lucas dropped down. She looks up and sees the large hole where Lucas dropped in from.

"I can understand that these files are important but... I can't believe they'd send a lord rank in plain view. Lord ranks are devasting as it is...."

Elizabeth looks towards the hallway, thinking where Karthen might have went to.

She goes through the hallway, and notices that there are dozens of dead evobeasts

"Woah, maybe that agent was more skilled than expected..."

Elizabeth stoops down and checks the deceased evobeasts and find that their artificial cores are melted because they couldn't form properly from the lack of pure energy.

When Elizabeth nears an area she thinks is near an exit, she starts to hear the sound of something chewing.

Elizabeth starts running and she reaches a large receiving area and sees a shocking site.

Agent Karthen's upper body being chewed on by a large evobeast.

His lower body is nowhere to be seen.

Elizabeth covers her mouth but weirdly she doesn't feel like puking.

Nevermind... He wasn't as skilled as I thought.

She takes a careful look at the creature and Karthen.

Karthen is dead beyond belief.

Elizabeth looks at the creature and she sees a gargantuan wolf-like being.

The wolf growls and swallows Karthen whole.

Elizabeth starts cursing as she thinks of how to recover the files from the wolf's stomach.

The wolf growls again once it senses Elizabeth.

Suddenly, the wolf lunges forward destroying the place where it was charging towards Elizabeth.

The wolf proceeds to claw its way to Elizabeth, making claw marks on the surrounding area every time it misses.

It lunges again to pin Elizabeth but she predicts it.

She leans down quickly and clenches her fist.

Elisabeth's strength increases by 50% instantly and her body doesn't become vulnerable.

Elizabeth punches the wolf straight in the stomach.

It whines in pain as it is sent flying.

Elizabeth jumps up quickly and continues to use Hero's fist, her modified version of Mortal fist.

Each punch is 50% stronger but she can use it constantly.

Then she starts to barrage the wolf with dozens of punches.

When she starts to fall, she immediately grabs the wolf with her enhanced strength and uses her pure energy to speed her descent.

The wolf roars as it tries to escape Elizabeth's grip.

The wolf hits the ground with powerful force and Elizabeth immediately lets go.

She jumps up with her 6x mortal charge infused into her legs and she hits the ceiling with her feet.

She uses another 6x mortal charge to push herself down.

The wolf tries to stand but Elizabeth reaches it first.

Before she hits the wolf, Elizabeth pulls her fist and uses her 10x mortal charge.

Then she punches the wolf straight in the spine.

The wolf immediately dies from too much shock. Elizabeth fixes the core and quickly removes it. She admires its slightly bigger size.

Once she hides it, she looks at the wolf's body.

After sighing, she does the gruesome job of ripping the wolf's stomach apart.

Once opened, she drags out Karthen's body.

She takes the files and sighs.

"I guess... It's going to take a long time for me to fully adjust."

The building suddenly shakes from Carlo and Lucas' fight.

Elizabeth looks towards where she came from.

"I just hope the heroes come quick. Carlo might be losing."

Carlo's suit is suddenly slammed through multiple walls as Lucas pushes him back while charging.

When they enter a large open area, Carlo's back opens and thrusters materializes.

Carlo's energy is almost depleted and he won't be able to control the suit anymore after.

Suddenly the suit's thrusters shut down and Lucas pushes down Carlo to the ground, destroying a large area.

Carlo momentarily blacks out as Lucas finally pins him down.

Once Lucas realizes that Carlo isn't responding, he starts to chuckle.

"What happened ant?! Why are you suddenly quiet?!"

Lucas starts bashing the suit with psychic enhanced fists.

The suit becomes offline when Carlo blacks out, so it immediately creates a powerful barrier pushing Lucas away.

Lucas starts hammering towards the barrier, slowly getting rid of it.

Lucas hears an ominous sound as he looks at his chest and hands. His hands that were bashing the suit had dozens of small machines connected to them and some where in his chest.

Carlo's suit suddenly becomes enclosed in a barrier.

Then the beeping stops.

The machines blow up and Lucas is sent flying away from Carlo.

Lucas hits a solid wall and he spews out blood.

He looks at his mangled arms and wounded chest and screams in pain.

He tries to stand but the damage was too much and he couldn't block it in time.

He grunts in pain as he finally manages to stand up.

Thankfully, Carlo was unconscious or else this might be Lucas' loss.

"Attention facility staff! Heroes have arrived! Please evacuate to the nearest exit!"

The facility repeatedly warns the staff of the heroes arrival.

Lucas' face goes pale as he hears the news.

"Fuck shit... The popos are here... I need to go"

Lucas takes one last look at Carlo.

"I'm coming back for you"
