ROYAL PROVINCE, ELFIN'S HALLOWED FORESTS, CITY OF LOGAN: YVETTE RATHMORE(3rdPOV)
To say the Royal Elven queen was angry was a tad bit of an understatement.
It all started a few days ago, around two weeks in total, when her newborn son Alfred was all of a sudden found in their wine cellar with the contents of many bottles spilled. He was only a day old infant yet someone had so horrendously tried to kill him by burning him alive; an innocent and pure child burned to death. Fortunately for her the assassin's plot was foiled, by whatever she was unconcerned, her little baby boy was still alive and that was all that mattered to her. She doubled guards, used the most powerful protection spells she could get her hands on-nothing short of a God could break through them-, and never let Alfred out of her sight.
She remained calm, it was unfitting of a queen to lose her temper and certainly not to the enemy either.
Both her and her husband began discussing possibilities, both of what to do next and who could have possibly dared to attack them, it took an hour in total for them to get to the bottom of things. Humans were the first perpetrators on their minds, their kind always had strife and it hadn't waned from time; how they got into the manor was a question indeed, they weren't trusted in the forests. Yvette had written to Sylvia, her one and only daughter, if the humans were attacking then she had a target on her back and she would put her safety as her first priority. She never got a reply.
They'd decided to head to Ivor Academy, a militant schooling ground for war and combat where Yvette had trained and earned her name in her younger days, it was ruthlessly defended and even the Royal Elves themselves would have a tough time fighting their way in if it was ever taken. It was the safest place in the entire world bar Seltio. It should've been the safest place.

The humans had audacity, the gall to attack the academy and burn their kin into ash; no matter how much war she had seen she still couldn't get the image of flesh being seared nor the deafening screams of the people she was supposed to lead. To make matters worse no-one could find Alfred, but they did discover that the magic which started all the suffering originated from the room he was in.
Her husband tried to console her with hopes that he may still be alive but it mattered not, she was absolutely torn. People, her people, were dead. Her only son had suffered a painful death or was living as a captive, either way he was gone from her. She craved—needed vengeance.
So she traveled to Logan, their city and paradise to prepare for slaughter.
"It seems that men and Gods are truly fighting together." Her husband, Adrian, glanced at the faded embers which surrounded the port before staring up to the sky. "Perhaps we may receive word from the dragons sooner than expected."
He turned towards Yvette who stared at the sea which glistened as light shone upon it; she was distant and lost in her thoughts and oblivious to Adrian's words. She raised her head only slightly after he had finished talking.
"A report from yesterday showed that the ruins of Fou Maïn had erupted of sorts; the power was like the Wrath of Vitaerion." She turned and walked towards her husband, "I wonder what interest a God would have in that old and rotting mountain."
"A nearby building belonging to that of the adventurer's guild was spared no expense either. I believe the Gods seek to annihilate the entire Royal Province." Adrian welcomed her into his arms, she rested her head onto his shoulder.

"They've tried before and they have failed." She muttered, he softly patted her head.
"Then let us make this another failed venture."
"My lord, My lady!" Yvette reflexively shot up and gazed towards auburn-haired youth dressed in fine cloth knelt before them, he held within his extended hands a parchment. "I bring word of the Dragon's alliance."
Adrian stepped forward and pulled from the young elf's hands the parchment, he gave him a small nod and the elf rushed away. He rolled open the parchment and read with squinted eyes. Yvette held her breath and hesitated for a moment before asking.
"What news have we received?" She hadn't noticed her voice trembled and looked at her husband with grave concern. He faced her with no expression and gave her a simple nod, there was a tremendous weight which left her shoulders.
"They seek to bring an end to an age of Gods and Men. Gods specifically." He stated. "They wish to meet to discuss our plans."
Yvette nodded. "We shall send an envoy to arrange a meeting at the Stone of the Fallen."
She turned to face the ocean yet again, this time she settled her gaze on the horizon. "Not even Esperina can grant them mercy for what is to come."

This is a LitRPG that follows Claire Woodward, A somewhat nerdy high school senior, who finds herself trapped in a video game, The Crimson Castle, she had just booted up for the first time. The Low Magic Fantasy World of The Crimson Castle is unlike any other. The world consists of only two things, the walled city of Dal and the wilderness that surrounds it. Each night, the wilderness outside of the city disappears and for five minutes the world trembles. Once the five minutes are up, the wilderness reappears, but it is always different from any previous' day wilderness. This means each day the city of Dal is surrounded by something new and exciting. Sometimes, the city of Dal finds itself on top of a snowy mountain, the next day in a foggy swamp, the next day after that on a tropical island, and so on. Inhabitants of Dal that go out into the wilderness are called adventurers. The further adventurers get from city of Dal, the rarer the loot they will find, but also the more treacherous their travels will become. Do not worry though, it is impossible to die in the wilderness. If your health reaches zero you will transported back to the city of Dal alive and well. Will Claire be able to figure out why she was transported into this world, and better yet, will she be able to escape it?
