i slowly awoke from my dogmatic slumber, and immidetly noticed something different.
i could see.
well, not see as in having vision, but... the formally entirely black space which surrounded me was now tindet in a deep green. kind of like staring at a black wall wearing green glasses.
it felt and looked very strange, but it was refreshing compared to the white or black i experienced previously.
i tried to feel my body a bit.
my legs had grown longer and even more numerous, my neck had grown so long id escaped the earth, and i had a head. or, rather, two. at least, thats what it felt like.

what do i make of this? considering my nee species and my new abilities, im pretty sure its safe to bet that im now a sprout. like, a tiny plant. however, i dont know how tiny, nor do i know what i look like. bugger.
well, i think what we really want right now is the ability to see. like, with eyes. i kinda miss having vision.
i can kind of hear, but im pretty sure thats just my legs picking up vibrations and stuff from the ground. on that subject, isnt the ground shaking a bit too much?

despite the words of the Voice, i attempt to use absorb anyways. after around five minutes, i realize she was correct. shoot.
in a desperate attempt to reach whatever nutrients may still be in the area, i use grow, whoch now works thanks to the slow rcovery of energy. thank god.
my legs grope about to the sides and travel in all directs. my neck also grows, but only slightly.
however, the interesting thing was when one of my legs touched something.

Unsurprisingly, Arthur told the god his ideal rebirth. However, soon enough, he would come to realize that he should have been more specific with it. Now being reborn as the smallest spirit vein, or if you could even consider him a spirit vein, Arthur wondered what he could do other than wait for time to consume him…and that’s where the system came in.
