Adrenaline pumped through my veins causing my pupils to dilate. After attacking the other goblin I searched for Silva and saw her getting slashed at by the big goblin. I sprinted into the other gobin causing them to collide and fall onto the ground. Their weapons went flying into the air. I grabbed my weapon and hung it high above their heads. Their dark bloodshot eyes stared straight into. A deep look of hate was stuck on their faces as I slashed at them, separating their heads from their bodies. I took deep breaths of air as I coughed from tiredness
[WELL DONE! YOU HAVE LEVELLED UP]
a mechanical sound rang in my ear. My level went up by 1 and I got 1 stat point. Silva was bleeding at the waist, her deep crimson blood-soaked her hoodie. I quickly made a makeshift bandage with my shirt and tried hard to stop the bleeding. luckily my efforts were without vain and her breath soon stabilised. With much thought I carefully put Silva on my back, I was fearful that more goblins could come at any time. After about an hour of scouring through the thick shrubbery, the surroundings took a dramatic change. humongous black, grey and red rocks built up high up into the clouds; the mountain stood serene. The terrain was a mix of woodland and hard stone. I quickly left my dazed thought, hurrying onto the hard rock .time was quickly running out...By chance I saw a small dark entrance; a crevice in the side of the mountain. Quickly making my way, I made sure to grab some sticks to use as tinder; coincidently, I discovered how to use my 'inventory ' more efficiently allowing me to store items quicker.
To my surprise, the interior was quite large, bigger than my 'previous home'.I was being dragged back to the past, back when I suffered terrible prejudice, back when I gave up everything. but now I had a new goal. slowly, I played Silva down, her cheeks worsened in colour-turning pale and her breathing had gotten rugged. Two large moons trickled their light through the crack, illuminating the room. Suddenly a Freezing breeze attacked me, I was used to this but Silva would surely struggle at this temperature; I made a simple campfire from the sticks I took from outside .eerie howls echoed through the dark night.

A week had passed. The entrance was now blocked up by large leaves I found whilst exploring the area. Silva was still unconscious but she started looking better her wound luckily didn't get infected; sometimes she mumbled and shouted in a foreign language. majority of the week was spent taking care of her e.g feeding her; the rest of my time was used to explore the new area. There were some parts which I couldn't and wouldn't enter. There were three major packs in the mountains: Humongous vipers which travelled by themselves and rarely in groups, a creature which looked like a mix between a wolf and a cheetah and always travelled in groups of two's and threes, and a lizard-like creature which I had only seen once, but killed an entire group of wolves by itself, it was able to shoot fire out of its mouth.
My stomach grumbled from deep hunger. The leaves blocking the entrance shook as I took a step onto the hard rock with my worn soles, the sun up in the sky blared its heat onto me. I slowly made my way to a river where I could find something to eat. By luck I stumbled onto a Goldhorn, thinking about eating it made me more hungry-being able to taste its heavenly golden flesh was an opportunity I'd only gotten 4 times before
"Downward Slash" I screamed with excitement. The Goldhorn turned its head rapidly, the deep fear in its eyes turned into complacency as I slashed it apart. My large hands swiftly and expertly took its body apart. Over the past week, my body had gotten more muscular: my abs could be seen now, My biceps had grown by quite a lot and my chest had also increased in size. This also transformed my weak mentality into a stronger much healthier one.

Howls boomed from the deep forest. Quickly I put the Goldhorns' legs and ribs into my inventory and briskly sprinted back home. The wolves would be preoccupied eating the rest whilst I got away. A fire raged in the cave; skewers of lean meat sizzled and slowly turned golden. An irresistible smell entered every crevice of the room. my hand were itching to grab some but I had to first prepare a smaller portion for Silva. This portion was ripped into shreds and placed onto a rock that had been heating up on the fire. Hungrily, I grabbed a skewer and blew hard onto it; eventually, I was able to put it in my mouth, it's juice exploded in my mouth and turned into flavour.
After devouring my food I checked up on Silvas' portion and took it off the flame. I would prefer to have cooked soup for her but I didn't have the proper utensils. I slowly lowered the meat into her mouth and made her swallow it, hopefully, she could get better quicker by eating meat.
The sun slowly descended and the twin moons came up to shower its luminescent light instead. I laid my head on a pile of leaves and slowly drifted into my sleep. My dad was in my dream, slowly walking towards me. His face was melting and distorting. I tried to move but my legs wouldn't move, his head was touching mine.
"JASOS!"Sweat drenched my body. I opened my eyes and saw Silva staring at me. She was awake.

Man of Earth
Magic is a terrifying force. Logic itself is subject to this energy, which is (logically speaking) impossible for us to comprehend. Every universe requires some version of magic to exist. That is, all but one. Our world functiouns based on a powerful and intricate net of laws that act independently from magical interference. The most notable of these is the human brain, which is capable of even more than its creator had thought possible. Naturally, this prompted the question: "How would a human fare in a world of magic?" Soon, there was a bet. Next, a human was selected. Finally, an odd young man with a strange black hat was introduced to his new world, and all restraints were removed.

A Tale From Azaad
Desperate and wandering, a young lord stumbles upon unknown knowledge that can help to overturn his peoples’ destiny. But can he rise to bring the prosperity his people need, or fall before it can ever take shape? AN: I hate writing synopses, so I'd recommend reading a few chapters before making a decision. Also, it's tagged as an isekai but those tropes don't appear. Warnings: I mention them, but there are a few chapters that are really gruesome. Furthermore, the innovations and advancements don't come into play until a lot later, though the framework for it all is built up early. Inspirations: South Asian history, Tales of a Reincarnated Lord and some of the histroical and kingdom-building stories on RR are inspirations for this work. If you enjoy politics, clever strategies, nation-building and technological advancement, then this story might interest you. Schedule: New chapter every Saturday at 3PM PST.
