Okay, so I know that chapter titles like this one tend to make people think the worst, but don't worry. I'm not going into 'temporary' hiatus or anything. I'm about to move house soon, and I know myself well enough to know that I won't be able to focus on my writing at the same time.
Because of that, I'm taking a week or two long break, both so I can ensure I have everything settled from the move, and so I can actually build up the backlog of chapters I've been intending to do.
Another reason I'm taking the week or two is that the big flaw of my writing style has caught up with me. I am almost at the point where I'm not entirely sure where I want to take things, and this will let me figure that out.
Once again, this should only last a week or two.

If my meagre offerings are accepted by the book gods, (and to a lesser extent, this community) I shall endeavor to persevere with my writing, though this was done on a whim. A warlock once made a pact with the Powers Above. He snuck in a clause that resurrected him whenever he died, with all his memories intact. He lived for thousands of years in a hundred different bodies, changing the world into a dystopian regime where he could freely pursue his passions: alcohol, television and ducks. This made the Powers Above very angry, so they erased his memories and reincarnated him as a simple barmaid in a sleepy village where she could do no harm. I don’t know any of this, of course. I just find it very annoying that she’s chosen me to tag along with.

This book follows Rita, a filipino nursing student, who, with her brother, enters "Mayhem of the Macrocosm". She eventually becomes Prio, the golden haired soaring monkey, as seen in Respec Ted. Please be aware: Prio's Notable Past is written as part of Royal Road's Writathon 2021, I recommend using the "Read Later" button and read it after the marathon, as I may be shuffling around and writing additions to all the chapters throughout the marathon.

In order to prevent conflict, a NATO peacekeeping force comprised mainly of American and British troops is deployed to the island. One of whom is Sergeant Robin Black, who discovers that restoring peace to the island nation may prove more difficult than previously thought.
