《NEET Re:Quest High School》Chapter 12: The School Cafeteria Development

Kayano swept in and grabbed Yui from Airi’s chest and later plunged Yui’s face into her own. However how ironic it might be, Kayano had successfully manage to rescue Yui from being buried and suffocated into a much similar scenario, the only difference was in bust size. On the other hand Sora could not help but laugh at the entire situation which unfolded in pure irony in front of his eyes.
“You… are… suffocating… me… Kaya!” Yui shrieked underneath Kayano’s bosom.
“See, Yui is on the verge of tears, why would you guys bully poor Yui?” Kayano persistently clinged on the idea of bullying.
Yui desperately tried to fight with the little strength she had to escape the grasp of Kayano instead of her previous attempt of escaping Airi’s grasp.
“I think she is on the verge of tears since she is suffocating and can not breathe,” Sora tried to explain.
“No it is because you are bullying her!” Kayano incessantly stayed on the matter and interrupted Sora.
“We are not bullying her!” Sora and Airi repeated in unison.
“You are just saying that, look at Yui!” Kayano continued.
A few seconds later, Yui had managed to escape her second embrace and puffed up with a red face.
“They are not bullying me!” Yui yelled. “And stop suffocating me,” Yui pouted.
“What? I am so sorry, I did not realize,” Kayano apologized.
Sora laughed quietly at Yui’s red and pouting face which only Airi took fully notice of. Amidst Sora’s laughter his phone buzzed and Airi began to slowly reach for it, and by the time Sora had noticed he fell one second sure as she had successfully managed to snatch it away.
“Okay… Give it back now, please?” Sora innocently smiled while underneath anxiety started to build up.
Airi hovered with the phone and took a long good scroll.
“Did you seriously pet Yui’s head because of a quest?” Airi furiously questioned.
“Yes? And well… She was just incredibly cute while eating her ice cream!” Sora expeditiously replied. “And you kind of removed the sakura petal which was the perfect excuse,” Sora added.

“I cannot believe you!” Airi seethed.
“He did what?” Kayano joined in.
“I am… cute?” Yui shrieked in a tone of embarrassment.
“So you were bullying her after all?” Kayano repeated yet again.
“No we were not Kayano. Yui, yes you were really endearing, and Airi, you are actually really cute when you are mad,” Sora rapidly spouted out genuinely. “I have to go now. I remember I have an appointment with Kazuya and Negi to go best the treadmill later, see you for now,” Sora quickly continued to talk on and arose from his seat. “Bye,” Sora concluded and left the swimming pool rapidly sprinting to the locker room.
Upon arrival Sora found himself panting and collapsing to the floor.
“Not again,” Sora panted heavily while closing the locker room’s door. “I seriously need to level up physically to best the treadmill one day,” Sora continued with his heavy panting as he sunk to the floor. “A short rest cannot hurt, can it?” Sora panted slower and closed his eyes for a nap.
After a while Sora woke up finding himself that he had lost most the daylight that was left. Rapidly he took a shower and got dressed to swiftly leave the locker room and head back down to the first floor. Kazuya and Negi waited like promised outside the gym building.
“You are late, we already finished our training,” Negi sighed. “What kept you up?” Negi added.
“Girls, if I simplify it with one word,” Sora responded with a sigh of his own.
“Sounds rough, tell us all about it?” Kazuya grinned.
“You sure, you will not be able to sleep tonight?” Sora grinned back with evil intent.
Kazuya nodded and then both looked at Negi to confirm through a nod of his own, and they all ended up smiling together as they walked towards the dorm and had Sora fill them in on the details up to date.
“So which one do you like more?” Negi asked with a cunning smile and attempt to dig deeper in the core which was Sora.

“What do you mean?” Sora answered while being confused and being unsure what Negi was implying.
“Out of the girls!” Kazuya yelled out. “Airi? Blonde haired, blue eyed? Truly a high class breed if we may call it as such! Maybe perhaps Kayano, light brown hair, slightly green eyed or more than blue? Or can it possibly be Yui? The more quiet, shy and innocent type with her cute appealing looks of being short hair, black, blue eyed, bangs slightly covering her face so people cannot look straight at her?” Kazuya went on an a questioning and explanation spree.
“Wow, it seems you guys are more versed and knowledgeable about them than I am, unsure if I should be scared or consider the people I surround myself with,” Sora laughed half anxiously.
“Nah, it is more that you are freaking dull!” Negi gritted his teeth.
“Are you calling me stupid?” Sora replied surprised.
“On the contrary, you are the smartest guy we know!” Negi complimented Sora with Kazuya nodding in agreeance.
They ended up sharing and furthering a few more laughters before the evening got late and closed up. The thought of liking someone of the three characters as suggest by Negi and Kazuya had haunted Sora to the point where it was lunch time. Sora held a tray with both his hands and the usual order, sitting down in the school cafeteria before he had realized there were more people around this table than usual. Holding up his head and letting go of the idea seemed ironic as he looked up and found himself surrounded by Airi, Yui and Kayano at the table.
“Sora can you sit down already, or can you not hear me?” Airi complained.
“Ah, sorry, I was lost in a thought,” Sora apologized slightly smiling.
“What were you thinking so deeply about to be lost in thought for?” Airi inquired her usual way persistently.
“It is nothing, do not worry about?” Sora responded.
“He is dodging the question, suspicious…” Kayano commented.
Yui laughed and pulled everyone’s attention, and a brief second later she hid herself behind her bangs being too embarrassed about laughing. Sora smiled at her cute self-regret and action, however Airi and Kayano instantly gave a mean look as soon as he had put up the smile which made it short lived. Sora sighed and put his phone on the table, then went on to check in a moment’s notice some of the tabs.
Tab 2: “Talk to any girl, must be repeated 10 times, and caps at maximum of 3 times per female individual.”, in progress 9/10.
“One more, huh,” Sora thought while reading it.
The phone buzzed and gathered everyone’s attention much alike a tank pressing taunt inside a dungeon to redirecting all focus to himself. New quest added, shown on Tab 2, and it had bounced back the talking to girls quest yet again to tab 3.
Tab 2: “Spend this evening with any of the three girls, or the three altogether. Yui, Kayano or Airi.”
Sora gulped while feeling the pressure of Airi hovering over his shoulder with a cold smile, reading it. At the same time, Kayano had managed to bend over and read over his hand holding it.
“What? Spend an evening with one of us or all three of us?!” Kayano flipped out with a moderate slight yelling voice to not alert the entire school cafeteria.
“Whaaa… aaat?” Yui shrunk in her seat. “An evening with Sora?” Yui sunk deeper in the seat.
Three new phones buzzed, and a similar quest seemed to be added, hence two of their faces grew colder alongside the embarrassed one which grew even more faze.
