《Last Grace: The Apex of Another World》Chapter 7 - Change of Plans

The stat seemed ominous in itself. What were its effects? If Lucifer had to guess it increased his strength. Right?
He hurriedly opened up the suggestion box in the status menu and began his suggestion. He wanted the ability to see the meaning of stats when you hovered over them. In extension to that the ability to see the effects of skills if by some chance you forget what the effects are. That sounded nice, it was common in the games he played back on Earth.
Lucifer finally finished with this idea and waited. This time it took a bit longer for him to get a response back from who he presumed ran the system.
Your idea has been discussed by the council, after much deliberation we have found your idea to be suited to the system framework. Your work has been noted, as such you will find 50 CP more in your status panel.
Happy with his ideas successful implementation Lucifer could finally begin constructing a rudimentary shelter. He may have lived for a long time, it doesn't mean that he was all knowing especially when it came to this world: A world that was foreign to his old one with the system concept, and a distinct threat the bloody rabbit monsters.
He sat up, only feeling a wee bit of pain, and in order to feel less he spent the 5 SP that he had most recently gained on Stamina. If you can deliver a strong punch you have to be able to take one as well.
He had finally collected enough branches to make the shelter after thirty minutes. During that time he encountered one rabbit, so few! Lucifer interpreted that as the rabbit population being low.
That said he would do whatever he wanted even if the rabbits numbered under 100. It could also be true that the rabbit population was located elsewhere and there were a few that just explored the boundaries of their current ecosystem.

Lucifer was excited, instead of searching for any more rabbits he had started to check the descriptions of the stats and was quite interested in what he had found.
[Strength] - How much force you can put behind your movements.
[Stamina] - How long you can endure exhaustion, and physical degradation.
[Charisma] - Your beauty, grace, and appeal to all whom see you.
[Intellect] - Your ability to understand and memorize ideas and concepts.
[Luck] - The likelihood of being in a favorable situation.
[Dexterity] - Your body's ability to maneuver
What kind of build did Lucifer want? Did he want to focus on strength and overwhelm any threats with his own power or just rely on luck. Which to him did not feel very stable as a path for him to follow.
Now it would be best if he focused on stamina. He reviewed his status once more to be sure of the path that he wanted to follow. He needed enough power to reach the apex, not now. But eventually he would come to do just that - be the strongest. Taking a hit or twelve differentiated a person of little power to a person who has much.
The screen seemed to demand his attention as Lucifer's focus was brought back to it.

If he fucked this up it could impact him in the future and as he was a perfectionist he could not have that at all!

The following screen that popped up did affect his plans in a major way. He considered suggesting such an idea, it was quite hard to plan for something when you dont understand the depths of the other parties knowledge.

The first to clear any concurrent dungeons will be rewarded with immense fortune and power. Dungeons are towers with many floors, the deeper you descend the worse off you will be as stronger and stranger things appear that you will be asked to kill. Dungeon Lords are strong monsters who solely inhabit dungeons bottommost floor with unique titles that the person who clears it can gain that give special bonuses.
- - -
Dungeons were not only plentiful, their rewards were too significant. Even so, he still considered himself to be lacking in power.
He needed to have an adequete amount of power - then he could crush the damn dungeons all at once.
For now Lucifer would prepare and come to be worth his name in blood. Constructing the shelter, constructing a real weapon and wiping out those hideous three eyed quadrupeds besides finding a dungeon would take time. Time hated his guts and he hated waiting.
What a time to be sealed.

Lady of Beasts
Magic has vanished from the modern world, relegated to 'biased accounts' and fairy tales. It has no place in the world of heroes and science. Or so the modern people thought. They would be proven wrong, as one of the eldest lineages of the magical world is revived, to once more aim for dominion over the world of magic and man. Update: 19.4.2021: Revised paragraph formatting to ease the reading experience. Feedback is appreciated! Update: 16.07.2021: The last chapter is written! The title has also been changed, from "Return of Magic, Ascendance of the Old Blood", to "Lady of Beasts". [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

It rewards punishing the evil creatures of the world: goblins, kobolds and other sorts of terrible monsters. It will surely go on for eternity.
