《Seed of Magic: The Orange Academy》Chapter 25

The evening of the All Souls festival found me standing outside on a town street. Vendor carts and people in the traditional robes for the celebration had taken over the entire town. When I was a child, this had been my favorite holiday. Even in the slums there were big productions put together and the higher tiers offered robes, one of the few kind things those above us ever did. The food was always amazing and the women in the slums, dressed in their robes, were something to behold with how they fit their curves.
I never much like wearing the robes, but Amber and Brandi insisted I wore one. So did and kept my distance from the major parties going on. The street I stood on was one of the quieter ones I had found. I leaned against the wall and watched all the townsfolk and students chat while feeling dumb.
The girls had gone off to visit the vendors to get food while I waited. The night held a chill to it, but that didn’t keep anyone from enjoying the festivities. I watched a group of girls go by, hair done up in braids with their soul masks pushed up to the top of their heads. Beneath their eyes were the customary red highlights that every girl and women did. With the mask on, it could be pretty unnerving to look at. Brandi gave me firsthand experience before we left and took a year off my life.
My own soul mask hung from hand and against my leg. The one saving grace was that men didn’t apply face paint of any kind. That would have been where I drew the line. I hated anything on my face.
The group of girls glanced over, not even trying to hide that they were checking me out. They turned back to each other with a giggle after our eyes met and one of them gave me a small wave as she went by. To call it normal would be ignoring my life until this point. It made me uncomfortable.
It was a complete turn from before we went into the abyss. In the week that Brandi, Amber, and I spent either in the medical ward or answering questions, the story of our battle had washed through the academy and embellished with each retelling. At one point we were fighting six hilgar and I could shoot magical beams from my dick and eyes. Rumors could get strange.
No longer was I seen as the weak mage to avoid. Witches were finding any reason they could to get near me, and both girls in my coven got a bit too protective when the other witches showed me attention. We only kept out of disciplinary action because of Lorelei keeping tabs on us.

I let my gaze travel down the road and back toward the school as I settled against the wall. The moon laid over the academy, a huge circular lamp in the dark sky. I watched it for a moment and then something caught my eye and I stood straight.
There was some distance between me and the main academy building, but even with that I could make out a person who danced on the roof with the moon as a backdrop. They had a white dress that fluttered around them, almost like water.
Glancing around, it seemed that I was the only one that noticed the girl dancing. She moved so fluidly that I found myself entranced while my mind wandered at how she had even got to the top of the building.
Brandi and Amber returned as I watched the dancer. Brandi shoved her hip into mine and nearly knocked me over. “What’ca looking at?”
I looked back to the school, and the girl was gone. For a second I thought maybe it had just been my imagination, but I was sure there had been someone there. But to explain it would just cause trouble, and so I dropped my gaze back to the group of girls who were chatting in a circle while sending nasty glares to Brandi and Amber.
“Them,” I said with a nod to the group and dropped back against the wall again. “They looked first.”
Brandi went to say something not too kind by the look on her face, but Amber spoke first.
“Oh, let him enjoy it. The poor pup has suffered enough.” She leaned against the wall beside me and held out a cup after taking a sip. “You see anyone you want to add?”
“I hope not. All these girls can rot. You weren’t worth anything to them before and they shouldn’t be worth anything to you now,” Brandi said and sucked noisily from a straw. She swallowed and gave an annoyed sigh. “Besides, none of them are going for you, they just want you power.”
“And you didn’t at all?” Amber snorted. I took a sip from the cup to keep from having to enter the conversation.
Brandi glanced over and while she still didn’t seem to like Amber much, she had softened some. The annoyed look had far less ‘I hope you die by a freak accident right now’ vibe to it. Which was progress.
“I didn’t know he had any real magical power. As far as I knew, I was throwing my lot in with a loser.”
“Ouch,” I mumbled and handed the drink back to Amber.
“You felt nothing from him?” Amber said looking past me and stared for a moment. “Oh… right, forgot.”

“What?” Brandi asked, the glare getting some of its old venom back.
“Nothing at all,” Amber said and took another sip of the cup and then handed it back to me.
“Just what am I drinking?” I asked as I looked into the cup this time. A golden-colored liquid swirled inside. Tiny flakes of something floated in the liquid and I had a sinking feeling as I looked between the girls.
“Just honey tea. It’s good, right?” Amber said and motioned toward it. “Drink some more.”
“I’m thinking you’re a bit too eager,” I said and held the cup out to Brandi. “What’s in it?”
Brandi glanced into the cup and then shook her head as she moved away. “I told her not to.”
Fear reached up from my gut and squeezed my lungs. “Amber…”
“It’s fine,” she said and chuckled while patting my arm. “It’s just a festival drink. You liked it.”
“It’s spiced,” I said, and I felt heat build in my core.
“Got it in one,” Brandi said and took another noisy sip from her own drink. “She wants to get laid tonight.”
“Like you don’t,” Amber snapped back.”
“‘Course I do, it’s been weeks since my magic was last seeded. But I told you, we just had to ask and he’d probably be willing to.”
“Yeah, well, I’ve been aching for some fun since we got out of the medical ward, so I wanted to make sure he’d be willing.”
“You drugged me?” I asked and dumped out the rest of the drink onto the sett. “Brandi is right, you just had to ask.” The heat traveled lower, and it seemed Amber would get what she wanted. I was more than willing.
“Told you,” Brandi said and leaned into me. “I get to go first since I told her not to, right?”
“That’s not fair, you’ve already had him twice without me."
“I’m thinking neither of you will get laid now,” I said, and they both pouted. “Aw, don’t do that. That’s not playing fair.”
“I’m sorry, Aidan. Really. I just wanted to have some fun is all,” Amber said as she stared at me with wide puppy-dog eyes. She trapped one of my arms between her breasts. Her tail wrapped around my waist.
“And I didn’t do anything, so why punish me?” Brandi said in a choked voice. She was faking, but it still ate away at me. She grabbed my other arm in a mirror of Amber.
“Fine. Fine!” I said and pulled myself free. “Later tonight.”
They both stared at me, the red markings beneath their eyes making them look possessed.
“What?”
“We were thinking about doing it now,” Brandi said as her gaze searched around the surrounding area, as if looking for a good place.
“Yeah, I drank too much of that stupid spice and right now,” Amber said and caught the corner of her bottom lip with a fang. “I don’t think I can wait that long.”
I backed up a few steps. “Girls, come on. We can do this later.”
They both moved far quicker than I expected, each grabbing one of my arms. They then pulled me along behind them, and while they weren’t stronger than me separately, with both of them I didn’t seem able to get my footing to stop. They pulled me along through the alley and toward a side one that wound its way behind a group of wooden buildings along the main street. Steam and voices poured into the alley from all the festivities happening on the street.
“You’re not thinking—” They came to a stop, and they pressed me against an outcropping of wood and forced me to sit down. Brandi hooked her arm around my neck and pulled herself into my lap. “Look, we can go back to the room if you really want to do this now.”
“Here’s fine,” Brandi said and wiggled on my lap. Amber sat beside me and kissed at my jaw. “I don’t want you changing your mind.”
“You know I wouldn’t,” I said, but neither were listening. They were lost in their desire and I was helpless as Amber nibbled at my ear and then brought me into a deep kiss. Her tongue danced with mine, her movements much more expressive than I could ever hope to meet.
I felt warmth engulf my member and opened my eyes to find Brandi with her robe hiked up enough that I could see where we were joined. She had moved so quick that I hadn’t realized she had opened my robe until I was already inside.
Around us people chatted and laughed while pans clanged, and steam hissed. Food was being served and people were enjoying the fall evening. I didn’t see any reason not to enjoy it as well, even if we could be caught. It didn’t matter because I had these two witches by my side.
I parted from Amber and drew Brandi in close so that I could slip in deeper. Amber got up on the stoop and wrapped her arms around me and pulled Brandi into a kiss, which surprised her. All I could do was watch and try to keep from coming too soon. I wanted this to last for a long time. Forever if possible.
