《The Unsorcerer》1st Movement: First Day Living Together With Isvaeriel

Entering the wooden dome, Eriel give me a tour inside.
The Blood Rose safehouse was neat yet comfy place.
As expected from a safe haven erected in the medieval ages, all furnitures and eating utensils were made of wood. The cooking equipments were rather made of hardened clay pot.
The sets of frying pan made of copper reminds me of Ancient Mesopotamia.
The kitchen and dining room were somewhat spacious.
The accomodation area or living room was spacious too, with one long table in the center.
One look at it and I could tell that this space is used for meetings and important matters.
On the 2nd floor above were the sleeping quarters, housing 2 rooms at the opposite sides. With each entrance facing each other.
There is also a small balcony outside.
"This will be your room from now on. You might want to take a look inside."
Eriel said to me as she opened the door of the bedroom.
It was a plain room.
A single wooden bed, a tiny desk, a window on the corner, and a small size cabinet.
Just a simple one.
"If you need anything, I'll be in the bathroom."
The Elzoren-Vyx'ue female said, smelling first her clothes before leaving me in my own convenience.
Gazing my eyes, I took my time to absorb every detail of the room as I rest my buttocks against the wooden bed.
Resting my hand over the bedside, I was filled with all sorts of emotions that lingered in the stillness along with snippets that was left in here.
My Empathy and Psychometry passively awakened.
Love... Hate... Vengeance... Tears... Laughter... Lust...
My face reddened a bit as images of two women making out entered my mind.
>
I only nod at Ghost Eye's words, indicating I agree with its explanation.
After all, women have needs of their own.
Erasing the hot and smutty scene out of my head, my thoughts are then focused on my current situation.
Living together with Isvaeriel.
There are many consequences with this kind of set up.
One is my abilities.
Although I already told her about it a while back, I felt that she was holding back herself from probing me too much.
I'm sure that sooner or later she will ask me more about my Psychic Powers and the way I invoked Magical Energy out of nowhere.
I actually don't mind.
Though it might be rude, I've already seen Eriel's memories and I can say that I can trust her.
She's a good person, a strong ally yet a deadly enemy.
And even she was requested by a Maste to protect me, she didn't do it out of reverence and obedience but out of curiosity and intrigue.
I can't deny my existence is an intriguing one.
Second is I will be forced to limit myself to what I've exposed.
That means I can only use both Psychic and Magical Energy Manipulation out in the open. Other than those two, my other abilities should be hidden as much as possible.
Revealing more would beget more questions and suspicions.
Worst, I may send a wrong message to her.
I want her to be my ally, not an opponent.
Stretching my arms, I laid my back against the hard wooden surface.
"Well...I guess I have home now..."
Home...
In context alone, it is a place where you are nourished while your young.
A place where you are guided and supported by your family.
A place where you could feel safe and sound.
Unfortunately, I didn't experience that kind of "sense" of home.
The word "home" only reminds me of my...childhood.
The "home" that left a scar and imprint of my very being reminds me of how I was "conditioned".
On how I was locked in a cold room with no windows...
On how I was forced to endure the coldest of nights as it chilly breath grip my bones...
On how I was forced to fight inside a cage and kill my fellow children for a piece of bread...
On how I was drowned in a series of torture to train my body so that it reject pain...
On how I was repeatedly forced strapped in an operation laboratory while doctors programmed my mind...
Yeah, that's what the definition of "home" for me for a long while.
>
"I know."
Getting up, I checked the room for a second time. Opening the drawers, I found an odd object.
Curious I picked it up and studied the object which was made of wood.
It was long and wide, and cylindrical in shape with a smoothen round top...
This...is...
Meh, just a sex toy.

Nothing unusual about it. Luckily I'm alone in the room or else I'll be-
"Cipher, what are you holding?"
Oh dear.
"Ms. Isvaeriel, what is this?"
I tried to play innocent, brandishing and waving the unpeculiar shape in the air like a curious child.
Her grey eyes widened.
SWIFT!
And she grabbed the thing out from my hands in a blink of an eye.
"It's adult stuff."
She said while trying not to be embarrassed.
Huh, the red tinge on your face is visible Eriel.
"What's an adult stuff?"
"You'll find out when your older."
To think that excuse also exists here...
"Have you taken a bath?"
Now that she mentioned it, I didn't take a shower for almost 3 days straight.
So that's why my crotch feels itchy.
I shook my head.
Eriel nodded several times before dispatching the toy like it wasn't there and grabbing me by the collar.
"You'll taking a bath with me."
Eh?
--
"Hold still."
Eriel said to me as she scrubbed my hair with her fingers.
Currently we are in the tub, drenched with water and covered with bubbles.
I, for the better part of me, just sat on her bare lap while trying to fight down the little worm that was resisting the logical part of me with my two hands.
"This is awkward."
And it really is!
For a 39 year old man, this kind of situation would arouse me.
Eriel is a well-endowed, sexy and voluptous woman.
And sitting on her lap while both naked made my innuendo to increase in an exponential rate.
What I'm experiencing now is the dream of all geeks and NEETS and perverts and otakus.
However as a child, I need to resist the temptation of an adult.
I can feel the struggle within me.
>
You're not helping Ghost Eye!
"Something wrong, kid?"
Eriel asked me while she kept maneuvering her fingetips on my scalp.
Yes, Eriel. All of this is mentally wrong.
"N-Nothing. It's just that I don't have any spare clothes."
That was true. I left my sack back at the orphanage.
"Really?"
"Hn."
She paused on what she was doing before continuing,
"I have some."
Oh great. Now its getting more harder.
--
Night time...
After dressing up in a big, loose cloth that Eriel lent on me and eating supper, I sat on top of my bed.
Even though I was in a Zazen posture, I wasn't meditating.
My mind was still lost in thought, notably back at the bathroom.
I was certain that Eriel dragged me with her because she wanted to ask me more about my powers.
How did you acquire it?
When did you learn it from?
Those kind of questions.
Instead she goes "onee-sama" towards me.
I don't get it. I really don't get it.
>
That might be possible... Or she just needs a right timing to ask me...
>
BANG!
The door to my room opened with a loud noise and someone walked in.
It's Eriel...and she was dressed in a faint red see-through night gown...and she wasn't wearing underneath it...
Such a powerful view that every pervert would pay a million dollars just to swap places for me.
But for me, I am used to seeing naked women due to my work in the past.
Intelligence gathering and espionage.
Her eyes were roaming around the room as if she was looking for something.
"Hm."
She went to where I was and picked up my pillow as if she was appraising it.
"Too thin, not warm."
Eriel then looked at me. Her eyes were brimming as she looked at me from top to bottom.
"What are you looking at?"
"You'll do fine."
What did she mean by- O-Oi!
Without warning the dark skinned female pick me up by the waist and carried me straight to her room.
Climbing to her bed, she put me down next to her.
And honestly I was confused by this.
Will she confront me now about my abilities?
I have to ask.
"Ms. Eriel why did you bring me here?"
Her finger touched my nose before slightly rubbing it.
"Body pillow... Can't sleep without it..."
After saying that, she yawned and tucked me closer to her that my face was pressed on her cleavage.
Her chin was placed at the top of my head, her breathing breezing my brown hair strands.
"Hmm...warm."
>
It seems like that.
... ...
... This is weird.

Waking Up
The story of Larin the Builder in the aftermath of Awakening This short story is the epilogue of Awakening, the first book of the Chronicles of Mother's Gate series. This epilogue is a great follow-up to the novel, a bonus story that adds extra layers between books without being necessary to the main storyline.Waking Up follows the story of Larin, who is alive but unconscious after her ordeal in the Nine Hells. She awakens in A'lara City a few days later and recuperates under the steadfast care of her repentant friend Jorn.As she reacclimates to her waking state, Larin struggles with her gruesome memories of the Hells and her decision to conceal them from Jorn. This story answers the question, Is Larin all right? with a resounding yes, and some storms on the horizon. It also raises the question, What happened to her down there? and includes an excerpt from the sister story Falling Down, about Larin's ordeal in the Nine Hells. Praise for Waking Up and Falling Down: Loved it. The difference between the two stories is great! The difference between Waking Up and Falling Down is astounding. So much light and love in the first story. You feel safe reading it. Healing. The second, so much darkness, pain and despair. The choice of vocabulary is awesome and makes an impact. And this set of short stories ties the two books together so well.-- Dana V. of Texas ★★★★★
