In the middle of the night, a youth could be seen among a pack of Dark Ghouls. Although he was walking among them, those monsters didn’t seem to notice his presence at all. A short message appeared as he stared at one of the ghouls.

‘Alright, this should be somewhat doable.’ He resolved himself as he whispered softly. “A night full of stars”

Slowly, many light orbs of a ping pong size rose up from the ground. Just a simple glance, one could see a few hundreds of them floating covering an area of 60 meter radius. And it was expanding at a visible rate, giving off a beautiful sight.

Feeling the mana, the eight ghouls started to panic as they scowled, looking at every direction, trying to find the culprit. But they didn’t aware that a human was looking at them from behind.

A youth, Lucien, smiled as he lowered his stance and tightened his grip on a spear. His dark blue eyes glowed a golden color and said, “Twilight Edge!”

He then threw out his spear forward, drawing a straight white line, straight into the head of the ghoul in the middle.

Splash!

Thud!

Not given a chance to scream, the ghoul’s head disappeared into thin air and its neck spurted out a fountain of blood, however, the spear didn’t has its momentum stopped as it went through another ghoul’s head.

Both of the headless bodies fell down. The other ghouls didn’t seem to care about their dead comrades at all. They all leaped into the figure that suddenly appeared out of thin air, roaring with an inhuman voice.

After one shotting two ghouls right away, Lucien didn’t even change his expression as his body suddenly turned into a bright light and vanished. Of course, all the six ghouls missed their targets.

Lucien then appeared at his flying spear. His hand gripped the spear tightly as his figure blurred.

His body moved at an extreme speed with the synergy of Leap, Sprinting, Wind Reinforcement, Grace of the Wind and Moment of Elegance as the core.

And before the ghouls could notice something wrong, another two of their comrades had their head pierced.

His spear made no sound at all, making it hard for the ghouls to track him. One could only see a streak of light when the ghoul was killed. However, these ghouls had no sense of vision so they were unable to see such a beautiful sight.

Just when he was about to pierce another ghoul’s head, the silver ghoul that seemed to be a leader swung its arm at him. Lucien barely dodged the strike and retreated a dozen of meters to catch his breath after managing to pierce another head.

Lucien stood up slowly as his health points was left with only three quarter from one of the subordinate ghoul’s blow. Which mean that blow alone could deplete 65% of his full health.

His Foster Blood and Blood Reciprocation worked fully, increasing his health regen exponentially. The light in his eyes didn’t waver a bit from the pain inflicted on his left arm.

“Sigh..”

No one knew why he sighed or what he was thinking. HIs eyes flashed a cold light as he looked at the approaching subordinate ghoul.

The ghoul opened its disgusting mouth widely wanting to swallow him at once. At that moment, Lucien’s spear blurred. Not even bothering to aim at its head, his strike hit straight into the ghoul’s chest at an invisible speed.

He only hit once but the ghoul felt like it had been hit twice before it died. Its body splattered into mincemeat.

“Seven Spectral Spear..”, said Lucien coolly as he looked at the dead meat on the ground.

“Don’t worry, now it’s your turn, big guy.”

Lucien turned his attention to the struggling ghoul leader a dozen of meters away from him. Yep, it was still sealed by holy chains. “Let’s make a cool ending scene, okay?”

With a playful voice Lucien lowered his stance, putting his free hand to the front like he was aiming. His hand tightened around the spear as it started to manifest an intense holy light one after another. After three lights, it stopped. The mana in his spear right now was so condensed that the air around it was shaking. His spear also let out a cracking noise like it could break apart any time soon.

Then, he shouted like a main character(again) dealing the last blow to the last boss as he swung his spear forward.
