Several weeks later in the largest mansion in a small city stood the rogue, surrounded by armed guards as he waited covered in sweat. During the wait, he imagined what his employer was going to do to him after his failure to capture Selena, nothing nice he is sure. Although he contemplated running away several times he was only able to come up with one ending such an act would bring about, death. Even the splendour of the waiting room could not catch the attention of this greedy man with the stress he is feeling, his keen senses not even picking up that all the priceless artwork furnishing this room have been recently placed, such a thought would only intensify the terror he feels toward the man he is about to meet.

Soon an ornate door opens and a man wearing impeccable butler attire hires sharp eyes and scarred features letting all that see him know that a butler is not the third man's main profession. This person always put the rogue on edge, the bloodlust this apparent servant emits while just attending his duties is greater than any bandits in the midst of slaughter or so the rogue believes.

Soon he was lead towards an even more gaudily decorated room. Upon opening the doors the rogue sees the man he wants to see least in this world, hires appearance quite unassuming to those who don't know him. He had blue eyes and blonde hair and a face that while not beautiful is handsome enough to warrant a second glance, An appearance very common in Nobel households.

Upon seeing the rogue his reserved demeanor instantly morphed into one of fury. After learning of the failure to capture Selenia. The rogue shaking tried to explain himself but found the words stuck in his throat. After a moment of seeing the stunned rogue, the man suppressed his anger and returned to his business facade before calmly asking “why are you here empty-handed in either going to have her head on a pike or yours”

The blood drains out of the rogue's face as he tries to coherently explain what happened while desperately trying to twist the facts to make him sound like a most loyal and obedient servant, something the man would have none of as he's spent too much time in the courts to be fooled by such armature deceptions. With every lie and twist of the truth, his face becomes more gentle, terrifying the rouge because he knows that the man only looks kind to those he's ascot to stab in the back.

Suddenly when the rogue's tale reached the point where Selena attacked with the aid of the dungeon the man began to grin. He then asked a few questions about the validity of the claims even mixing in a subtle threat, starting the price of lying. Meanwhile, the rogue was ecstatic as he appeared humble because when he was being questioned he realized that there was something in his journey that interested the man so he could hope to be useful enough to live a little longer.

After discussing more certain details of the rogue's story he allowed the rogue to leave before warning the rogue not to disappear for he had more uses. The rogue thanked the man profusely bowing low below scurrying off into the city. Upon entering the city he breathed a sigh of relief before making his round to various shops in the district selling the enchanted gear puff the mage Gene. With a heavy coin purse, he happily hummed a tune while making his way to the familiar backstreets where the more unsightly professions are performed.

Later in the brothel, the rogue lays in the most extravagant room in the building hugging the waist of two beautiful women while recounting his heroic deeds during his days adventuring, but when the story came to a climax and his ego thoroughly inflated he found that only his stories could become grand under his power. After looking at the escorts faces and seeing what he believes is mockery in their gazes he explodes into a rage and punches the closest one in the mouth. Two front teeth go flying followed by a scream then heavy footsteps climbing the stairs, panicked the rogue uses his gifts in wind affinity to escape through the window all the while vowing to slowly torture Selenia for ruining him.
