《The Immortal Mutant Teen》Chapter 21 - The Power Of Just One

He stared at his son, fulling full well how he is feeling, he finds it all absurd, thinking the same things. Feeling his father's stare, he slowly sat down.
"If they have, I wouldn't know but it's obvious they weren't successful. I'm only aware of five Belaus, now six if you count the boy, I've only just ever seen one of them, and much less know what the other hidden eight do.
There's another reason why I call them monsters… Remember about 5 years ago, I went to a convention for CEO's?" they nodded their heads, this was the attempted assassination of Japan's elite by a terrorist group, their father was there.
"I told you that the assassins were fought off by a group of us CEOs that knew how to fight right?... That was the furthest thing from the truth, they were all killed by just one man" The Clan Head dropped another bombshell, that event was reported on the news, he, and the other CEOs were awarded for their bravery on live television.
Now, their father told them that was a lie and it was all done by a single man.
"No one would have believed it was just one man that resolved it, it was 30 assassins… 10 grandmasters and 20 half-step grandmasters. The one who did it?... the CEO of Pandora." The Clan Heads' eyes turned dull while remembering that gruesome scene.
"He mowed down all of them with relative ease, decimated by him and his weapon... a ballpoint pen. It was over before it even began, he came over to us and told us that we didn't see anything, and it was all done by us and in turn, he would take us out for drinks, nobody questioned him, we just nodded in compliance, of course, we also wanted to get to know this mysterious CEO of the number one company in the world.

His name is Alpha Belau, I had thought I had reached the peak, but I was just the proverbial frog stuck at the bottom of the well.
To think this monster of a man before us, turned out to be a feather-weight at drinking alcohol, in his stupor he mentioned things about his family, how they were only 14 brothers and sisters and how he was only rank 10 in his family.
I was shocked to find out the man in front of me, who mowed down grandmasters like they were grass, was not even the strongest and ranked near the bottom.
I got even more curious at this, so I tried to ask more but I could only find out that the other 4 HQs of Pandora are run by his brothers and that the Family Head, sometimes in his drunken stupor he referred to him as 'Father' and other times as 'little brother', of the Belaus is the strongest.
Before I could get more out of him, his bodyguard got a call, I could hear screaming from the other side and the guard's face turn deadly white, he confirmed his orders and grabbed the CEO by the collar as if he wasn't the man that hired him when he was starting to struggle, the bodyguard mentioned the Family Head and he stopped struggling letting himself be dragged away, shivering in fear"
The Clan Head paused, letting the trio in front of him digest and process the meaning behind his words.
"A couple of months later, I found out that the assassin organization that the terrorists hired were slaughtered. All 3000 members were killed in a couple of days, they were all dismembered... it looked like someone ripped them to pieces"
He feels like its too much for them to take in at once, he thought that maybe he shouldn't have said anything to them at all.

He especially focused on his son, although his son had humble nature, he still carries that great Saegusa pride within him, he knows he is strong and is always trying to break through his limits, he worries for him and fears that he will unknowingly be killed by that boy.
Of course, as a father he has absolute trust in him and is aware of his capabilities, but... there's no doubt that the Belau boy is a monstrously strong existence, no matter how young he may be.
"That is all I know, most is just suspicions and guesses made with what I uncovered but there is no doubt…. They are an extremely powerful family.
I want you guys to know that I have already been given a warning, 30 minutes after I started to deeply investigate them, I had a knife to my throat and someone telling me they will kill everyone if I didn't stop.
I wish for you three to be careful around him, and whatever you do don't offend him... I am talking to you Sora, I know you thirst for battle, but this isn't someone you should challenge."
With solemn faces, the trio respond, "Yes, Father (Clan Head)"
"Now go get ready for dinner," he said as he turned his chair around to look out the window contemplating what he should do. He heard the trio get up and walk out of his study.
Looking out the window, he whispered, "Sorry kids, that's not all I know, there's a different kind of world out there, hidden in plain sight and I just don't want the veil to be lifted…. At least not yet, as long as I can delay it, I will"
He starts to think of his daughter's friend, the Watanabe Clan's heir, he needs to have a private conversation with her and her father.
The Clan Head, or the trio for that matter, had no idea who the boy really was...
