Day 4,556

The first night of our expedition went well.

We covered a good distance, passing the valley where we encountered the Maragorn. As expected, we found no sign of the monster horde, so we pushed forward until sighted a small mountain in the distance.

Since the sun was setting, we decided to camp at its base for the night. Trouble did not hound us, for which I’m glad. The expeditionary force is in high spirits, and by the time we reached our destination, we quickly erected our camp.

Dinner was comfortable enough. I ate together with Eina and my other comrades, exchanging stories and banter. Some told of their plans once they returned from this mission. Others mentioned hunting the great beasts that roamed thius vast and unknown territory.

Nothing much happened today. However, I sensed a sudden agitation not an hour ago. Instinct tells me that we are being watched.
