Oldrin has issued another mission: an expedition to the Untamed Lands.
It didn't come as a surprise to me. In fact, I have already expected it. We barely have any information about the unusual behaviour of the monsters, and we need to find the leader as well.
I volunteered along with Eina and some of my comrades. This will be a large operation, so we sent out another summon. This time to all Slayers.
The mission will begin in two weeks. I plan to use that time to prepare. I have never went deeper into the Untamed Lands before; those who did spoke of dangerous terrain, and even more dangerous creatures.
If that is what we are going to face, I need to be in my best possible state. If only Aderyn were here...

Although many of the creatures are based on Swedish creature mythology, I have taken creative liberties in order to ensure that evolution lines and the such are in line with the usual. The main thought I had when going into this is that I want to delay the "meeting a human" section as much as possible. My plan is to get him to endgame levels of strength before even sniffing the possibility of seeing a human. Whether I'm actually able to do this remains to be seen, but I'm holding my thumbs! Also, I'm aware that there are other troll evolution stories, but this is unrelated to them. They can do their stuff and I'll do mine, but this is in no way related to any of them. Shin and Philuffy find themselves to a reality beyond their control in the manipulative hands of the Nightmare, their goal was to find the Gear Breaker: Innovator to release the Ultimate Nightmare Breaker, Akuma.
