A gigantic slime appeared to be following the group in its journey.
By gigantic, it was extremely big for a slime. It was the size of a full grown elephant if one were to make a comparison. What was strange was the fact that it was a green slime. One which harmlessly bounces around the fields.
Even Mr David had a really shocked expression plastered upon his face.
"identify! The students called out.
Unique green slime:
A slime that has grown through some strange and unknown meathods.
It is rumored that this slime is capable of smashing down even the largest of trees.
It has a strangely high intellect capable of experiencing and understanding speech.
Rank:S+
This was enough to take the interest of the students, as the summoners and tamers began to cast their magic upon the poor slime. A unique and nonetheless S+ monster. Even if it were to be something as worthless as a slime, it would still go for a really high price.
"Its mine!" the students began to argue, as the slime broke free of the magical chains binding it down almost effortlessly.
Mitsuha noticed a wooden plank, small as it is, inside the body of the slime. Strangely, it was as though it was trying to show it off to her. In fact, the slime consistently headed towards their direction while enduring the hits of various spells.
She recalled their barbeques held at the top of the little hill. She had taken a liking to one of the slimes and even made it a plate from some scrap wood.
"Bob" she called.
That was the name she gave to the strange blob monster when she didnt know of it as a slime yet.
The brothers smiled, as they realised the identity of the slime. They recalled Mitsuha crying as they had to leave it as they left to explore more of the world. Only to end up staying in a city a few kilometers away.

Immediately, the slime sent a contract towards Mitsuha.
That was how taming contracts worked. Usually, the tamer with the spell will send it towards the magical beast and make it accept through force all out of their own will. However, there were also cases where monsters willingly issue contracts towards a person.
And mitsuha accepted it.
"Lucky..."some of the students complained. Or were in envy, at the very least.
The slime gently pushed Mitsuha above its head. As though it was natural, Dominic sat atop along with Benedict. In which Bob didnt seem to be against it.
Risha and Usagi were also let aboard as well. Bringing most of the other students to be thrown in jealousy. As they still had to struggle in the hot sun.
"As expected of Benedict's sister" Katie judged. She appeared to hold Benedict in a really high regard.
"Let us on too" some adventurers complaint, however Bob appeared to already be full.
Hence, the search for a dungeon continues with the large expedition group.
"Oh look, i found a dungeon just lying down there in the back of the field near the river" Mr David had a really unimpressive acting.
It was a rank D. Dungeon, that obviously the city had located a few months ago.
The rankings for monsters and dungeons were the same. From G-SSS and beyond. For a rank D dungeon, one can expect to find monsters around that rank, such as imps, skeletons and etc.
Coincidentally, their old home laid along the same path near the river, however quite some distance away upstream. It explained why Dominic had so many monsters to fend off at night in the first place.
They were mostly the undead, such as zombies or ghouls. Hence allowing there to be peace in the daytime.
"So according to the city, this is a rank D undead dungeon. It hasnt been explored yet, and the rewards are still unknown. Based on the area the dungeon resides in, we assume there to be only around 20 floors or so. In the case of the appearence of a Dungeon Lord, the difficulty might be raised to a B level." Mr David explained.

The entrance to the Dungeon was right next to the river, beneath a slight dent on the ground, hidden behind a bump in the field. Moss appeared to have sealed the door shut, as a hole from the wall in the dent had a zombie attempting to squeeze through that hole, and turning to ash upon contact with the sunlight.
Zombies. Though they have a humanoid shape, in no way are they related to humans. They were more of a different species that desired the flesh of living things.
"So do we enter now?" Matthew asked.
"No. However, if you wish to, we can have a scouting department scout the floor layout. The plan is to finish it within 2 months or so." Mr david said.
"So what do the rest do until then?" Matthew asked.
"Naturally, we have fun and play by the river. Play some little games, tell a few stories, and get to know each other before embarking in a life and death journey." Mr David said.
"And also, you're in charge of the scouting group" Mr David smiled as he told Matthew.
Dominic laid down on the green slime. The sun was giving off a nice warm tempreature, while the cool breeze perfects the enviromental feel.
Honestly, the travelling speed was rather slow, since it took 3 hours just to cover something around 50killometers or so. Which is rather fast considering they were half-jogging.
Dominic enjoyed himself to the atmosphere, as he noticed some rather unpleasent stares from the surroundings.
"Look at him, if he wasn't Benedict's brother, I would have hit him already. Being so relaxed in this adventure" a male student expressed his opinion with his own group of 5.
"Why did Benedict even ask him to come? Instead we could've gotten someone else. Someone who is at least nice to look at."another one sighed as Dominic noticed their attention to be on Mitsuha and the other two girls.
Dominic made a mental note to watch out against the two delinquent looking students with pierced ears and orange hair.
"Why orange hair though?" Dominic wondered.
The other 3 appeared to be hired bodyguards.
"Hey, the boy lying down over there, nice to meet you, I'm Katie" a pretty good looking female with long hair and a tall figure walked over.
"Werent you shock that I was Benedict's brother just this morning?" Dominic recalled.
"Hello." Dominic responded.
"So she's trying to get close to Benedict using his brother?!" Dominic heard some mutterings from other female students.
In fact, only 4 students out of the 13 were male. The bodyguards were mostly male anyways.
"So... The weather's great?" Katie tried her best.
But sometimes, the best was not enough.
"Ye."Dominic replied, before ignoring her. And turning away with his head in the center of Bob's surface.
Peace and quiet was the best after all.
Afterwards , a group of girls swarmed Mitsuha.
Meanwhile, Matthew was struggling to get people to scout with him.
"Do your best"was what Mr David said as an encouragement.
In the end, he was ignored by almost everybody, and the girls with Benedict seemed as though they were already busy.
He had managed to get no one to go along with him.
As a last desperate attempt, he asked the only one who appeared to be doing his own thing.
"Uh.. Dominic. Do you want to explore the dungeon with me first?" Matthew asked. If even Dominic said no, he would be all alone.
"Sure?" Dominic replied. Noticing that there was nothing interesting to do around the area.
With that, the 2 man scouting party was formed.

I hate mage. Lady luck never smiles upon me. Then a time skip happens and finally, my interesting life begins. Author's Note: Beware: This story has a slow start. Delicate as Glass
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Nuri, an [Assistant Glassworker], only has a single Skill. It’s really not fair. He’s worked in the hot shop his entire life, following in his father’s footsteps after his parents passed away, but he’s stuck. Despite possessing above-average talent as an artisan, he still hasn’t shed his [Assistant] status, gained a second Skill, or even leveled enough to reach the first Threshold. Besides, he’s bored; most days he daydreams of adventure and becoming a hero, or pines for the renown that’s sure to be his if he evolves his Class into a [Master Glass Smith], but nothing ever changes—until suddenly, fate strikes, and nothing is ever the same again. These days, Nuri sees more magic, prestige, and adventure than he can handle as he gets swept up in realm-shaking conspiracies and desperate fights for his life. Maybe a boring life wasn’t so bad after all. Disclaimers: 1) Names were mostly chosen through random generators and aren’t necessarily final. If they seem derivative or boring, blame RNG. 2) Skills, Classes, levels, and the entire system is currently a work in progress; please be kind if it’s not very well fleshed out yet. 3) This is the first full-length novel I've set out to write without a single plot point ready. I had nothing in mind other than a recent visit to a hot shop. Molten glass is pretty awesome. 4) Related, I know much less about glass than I’d like. I did some research, but mistakes are bound to happen. If you have a correction, thanks! Please be polite about it. 5) The prose is my experimental attempt at first-person, present tense. I realize it may not be everyone’s preference, but I hope you’ll give it a try anyway!
