My name is Alec,and I think I'm dying, but I'll get to that later. I live on Manhattan Island, not that you would recognize it now. Between the Blacklight virus, the infected, the military, and my dad, this place looks like hell. You might know of my dad though, he's really popular here. They call him Zeus. The military has been fighting him for awhile, not that its my problem. I usaully spend my time hunting strains(dad says it'll make me stronger)or making sure the soldiers never find out about me. Its not like I couldn't kill them on sight like my father, its just too much trouble. Kill a squad here, over there, then they know where to look harder. Not that it would be easy, or impossible, to trianglate my activities in a city full of infected. Its just not worth it.
You may be thinking I could hang with survivors, yes there are a few, but I'm not human like them. I'm a monster, or as my father calls us( myself,dad,and a few of dads soldiers) the Evolved. Its not like I'm ugly or anything like that. I think I look good for a viral parasite. Average height, athletic build, pale blue eyes, and no horror inducing deformaties. Granted I can look however I want to with just a thought. The only time I don't look 100% human is when I use my powers, or when I consume something. But all this isn't too important, like I said before, I think I'm dying. I was hiding from soldiers after hunting an alpha hunter, when I heard a MASSIVE EXPLOSION.
Then a flash brighter than the sun, and more pain then I have ever experienced. Everything faded to white. So, yeah. Dying...?
