20th day of 9th month year 10440

After Nevada had been on the road for days and only sleeping all together twenty hours, he was finally a day away from his home. The scenery had changed from the green lands, to a cold land, where it is often snowing.

He was walking through the snow, with heavy steps, as the snow was almost up to his knees. For the past month, he has been away, it has snowed pretty heavily here. Everything was covered with a thick layer of snow and only guide for him was the sun and his senses. But the biggest thing, that was helping him, was Maria, to whom, he could feel getting closer. It was a mate thing, where the two mates could feel each other from the distance.

Nevada looked at the sky and saw how the sun was setting and the moon was rising. Knowing, that moving in dark is dangerous, especially in this weather, he decided to make a camp for the night.

So, he looked for a big tree and found one pretty quickly. Very slowly, he ran towards the tree and once he got up to it, he started to climb it. His nails dug into the tree, as he climbed.

And with a last final push, he got on top of a large branch. He wipes the snow away and sat down on the branch and leaned his body forward, placing his head on the branch. He let his limbs hang in the air and now he truly looked like an animal, sleeping on top of a branch.

Next morning, Nevada woke up, when the first sun rays hit him in the eye. He opened his eyes and looked around, before dropping himself from the branch and landing into the soft snow. He got onto his feet and wiped of the snow, before continuing his walk towards home.

As he walks, he hears a loud and deafening screech, definitely belonging to a bird.

"SHHHRRRRIIIIEEEEEEKK!!!"

"Aaah fuck!"Nevada yells out, as he covers his fox ears, which are obviously sensitive to sounds.

After a few seconds, he lets go of his ears and looks up the sky. His eyes grow big and then says"What the fuck!"

He immediately starts running, as the bird is approaching. He looks behind, only to see it dive bombing towards him, while letting out it's screech.

The next moment, the bird hits the ground, destroying the ground around it and creating a craters. Nevada was also send flying with the ground, when the bird crashed into the ground.

He flies through the air, completely vulnerable there, as he can't do nothing. He flies and a few seconds later, he crashes into the snow, rolling there.

He slowly gets up and bursts out from under the snow. He looks at the bird and calculates the distance between them.

"Two fucking hundred meters. Holy shit."he mix in curses, as he doesn't control his speech that much now

Nevada stares at the giant bird, who looks to be about twenty meters high from head to toes. The birds wingspan seemed to be at least hundred and fifty meters wide. The body is about fifty meters long. The birds claws are sharp, with three at front and one at back on both feet. The birds feathers are mostly white, with blue mixed into it. The eyes are completely black.

'Okay. What the fuck is that thing? It isn't a dragon, so why is this chicken so big here. The largest bird I know, was ten times then this bird. So what is it?'

The bird sets it's black eyes on Nevada and stares at him, with Nevada staring at him.

"Aaah. Fuck this. I can't fight it, so fuck this."he mutters, before turning around and trying to run away from the bird as fast as possible.

As he runs away from the monstrous bird, he can hear and feel the bird running after him.

'Fuck fuck fuck.'is the only thing, going through Nevadas mind.

He keeps running and running, as he feels the bird approaching. Suddenly, he finds himself in the air. He looks down onto the ground, only to see the bird there, holding it giant peak open, over him.

With no other choice, he quickly creates a giant chunk of ice and just lets it drop on to the bird. The chunk crashes into the birds face, making it close It's mouth and turn it's head away. As for Nevada, he lands onto the birds head, then rolls down it and lands into the snow once again.

Nevada looks up from the ground and says"Ooh fuck my life."

He looks up, only to see that birds eye staring at him. Before he could do anything, he is thrown away by the bird again and he is send flying through a tree and crashes into the second on. He tries to push himself up, but feels weak and his left arm feels limp and tanglely.

He grabs onto the tree with his right hand and starts to pull himself up with his hand. After a hard effort, he finally gets onto his feet and while leaning on the tree, he looks at the bird, who stares at Nevada.

This bird is seriously pissing off Nevada and he could feel himself getting angrier and angrier. His sense of reason is gone and he starts to walk towards the bird. He realized, that he can't outrun it, so he decides to fight it.

As he steps towards the bird, he feels strange and his left hand is starting to heal.

"You fucking bird piss me off!"he yells at it and while yelling, it is clearly see able, how his teeth are turning sharper and his face structure is starting to change.

His hands start to grow long white hair and his nails turn black and sharp.

He can feel his body change. With each second, he grows and turns more and more, to an appearance, of an animal.

And ten seconds later, instead of a person, there is giant fox, with nine tails. He is about ten meters tall and thirty meters long. His fur is white, with the tips of his ears and tails, being ice blue.

He looks at the bird with his blue splitted eyes and growls towards it, showing his sharp white teeth. He bites the air a few times, before dashing towards the bird, with great speed. The bird doesn't go into the air, as it should, but instead starts running towards him too.

The two massive beast collide, creating a shockwave, which clears the ground from snow with fifty meter radius.

He bites into the bird with its sharp teeth, as the bird is attacking him with its razor sharp claws.

While they are drawings each others blood, the bird decided to take flight and with its massive wings, it takes off from the ground, with the kitsune.

He tries his hardest not to let go, but the shaky flight and his injuries, finally get to him and he lets go of the bird with his teeth and falls down, towards the earth.

The bird hovers in the air, as he watches the fox falling and crashing into the ground, from one kilometer up in the sky.

As for the fox, the impact with the ground hurt, but he didn't get any serious injuries and so, he got onto his feet fast. Underneath him, he could hear ice cracking, but before he could get away, the bird dive bombed into Nevada.

The Ice gave up and both of them, fell into the deep hole, underneath. As the two massive beasts fell, they disappeared into darkness. Only their screams were heard for a few seconds, but they do, disappeared soon.
