Due to a few suggestions, I feel that this might be necessary for those that dislike Wuxia/Xianxia style stuff and intros and want to quickly get into the story. If you don’t mind a Xianxia story intro, feel free to skip this and head to the prologue. Your choice

Below is a brief summary of the characters which explains the Prologue and Chapter 1. After reading the below information, you can start directly on Chapter 2 and pretty much skip all of Xianxia style stuff. A lot of information will be expanded on beginning with Chapter 2 and, of course, future chapters.

Spoiler: Spoiler The world has multiple Planes, such as Mortal and Immortal. Mortals can ascend after a certain power into the Immortal plane, thus effectively becoming unable to age, hence the Immortal. The Immortal Planes size and the strength of its inhabitants are also vastly superior to the Mortal Plane.

The Characters shown:

Nox Ferrum – The Main Character. An Immortal originally from the Mortal Plane. Short black hair and unfathomable grey eyes, he appears to be in his late 20s with a stubbly beard. Without inspecting him closely, he appears relatively ordinary.

Due to him and his wife being constrained in the Immortal Plane because of their talent and strength, they had to neglect their daughter and keep her relatively confined for her safety. Because of this, they wanted a needed reprieve for a few years to spend time with their daughter. Staying in a house on a very scenic lake for a few years, it became a mistake that ended in tragedy, as Nox watched his wife and daughter die before his eyes.

His wife leaving parting words after their daughter died before her, she burned and sacrificed her soul to strengthen their daughters and preserve it. Using a deplorable skill that sacrificed any life for temporary power, Nox eliminated the murderer shortly afterwards, feeling disgusted with himself for resorting to that.

Creating a large memorial on the shore of the lake, he left with vengeance and reviving his daughter becoming his goal and the only thing he lived for.

Managing to get revenge after breaking the ‘limit’ of power approximately 7,000 years after their death’s, he became a being with a truly invincible soul, with his breakthrough affecting and shocking the entire Immortal Plane. Even those who had lived hundreds of thousands or millions of years couldn’t break the limit.

First he erased the conspirators which were from the largest power in their world, from an incredibly far distance using his pitch-black and red tipped sword, Nyx, which had transformed into a bow.

After that, he used his newfound power to force his daughters soul back into her body that he also preserved, bringing her back to life, fully intact.

After speaking with his daughter for a while, she asks to return and see her mother's memorial, to which Nox agrees.

Stella Ferrum – Nox’s daughter that was killed and soul was preserved due to her mother’s sacrifice. Golden hair and grey eyes, she gets her hair from her mother and eyes from Nox.Looks to be around 20. Cheerful yet resolute. Like her mother, her mind is very strong even though she’s only a few dozen years old.

She was revived after Nox broke the limit and gained the needed power. Only remembering moments before she had died, Nox explained what happened and told her of his 7,000 year journey without any lies. After his story, although very emotional and shocked that Nox broke through at an unparalleled speed, she quickly accepted most of the situation due to her mind and personality, which is something she took after her mother. Nox had much more trouble overcoming those events.

Ling – Nox’s deceased wife who was nearly the same age as him and also ascended from the Mortal Plane to become an Immortal. Golden hair and red eyes. She looked like a more mature version of Stella. She was a genius in the soul, which allowed her to burn hers in exchange for preserving Stella’s. Because she burned her soul, it returned to become one with the Universe's energies, unable to enter the cycle of reincarnation again or be revived by Nox.

Nyx – Nox’s pitch-black and red tipped sword that he had found years before Ling and Stella’s deaths. Female, she revealed her sentience when they died, and was used to preserve Stella’s soul inside her. Together with Nox, they had sacrificed a thousand miles radius of life to gain temporary power to destroy the one who killed them. She was Nox’s only true source of interaction and companionship for over 7,000 years, and the one who saved him from insanity and rash decisions. She can’t speak, but could convey her intentions, especially to Nox.
