Hey everyone, just writing to provide an update on the second novel's publication. I've commissioned a cover art from a graphic designer who I've worked with before, who usually takes about 3 - 4 days to finish a cover. I contacted him at a busy time I guess as I'm pretty far back in the cue of hired projects, so the cover won't be done for 1 - 2 weeks, he said he would keep me updated. The novel, on the other hand, is just about finished, so I'll be using this time to make further edits and revisions, and to format the .doc file for publication on amazon. I would have commissioned the cover earlier, but I was all but deported from the country where I had been living (I lived in Costa Rica with my grandparents for a short while and was intending to stay for another 4 months, but I slipped up with my visa renewal by misreading my passport stamp so the immigration office in the capital told me I had to leave the country when I tried to go through with a renewal). Arriving in Canada is a headache and a half at the moment, several buggy apps that need to be downloaded and personal info uploaded, and several pcr tests etc. etc. so I lost a few days travelling via plane and bus to get to my home city, which is fairly far from the airport where I landed and the hotel I'd stayed at for the day.
