Late at night.
The moon was high in the sky as it illuminated the surrounding with its light. In a small park, everything was calm, a nice breeze was blowing as the leaves of the nearby trees swayed.
Then,
Space itself ripped apart. A giant vortex of around 3 meter in diameter appeared. It caused the winds to swirl around it. After a few seconds the vortex stabilized and the sounds produced by the raging wind stopped.
A human girl exited through the vortex. She looked young, like a freshman in highschool. Her unusual-blue hair, tied in a short ponytail, contrasted with her black and red outfit. She wore a black T-shirt and a shorts. Black with red lines of what seemed like a futuristic armor was all over her body. At her waist a black scarf was attached. On this scarf the head of a red dragon was embroidered. An weird earing was on her right ear. It was a dragon with its tail that pierced the ear lobe and the claws and head rested on top of the ear. The slim body of the dragon was on the back of the ear and a gem was encrusted on its forehead. Inside the gem the roman number ‘I’ could be seen
Her sharp gaze turned soft when she looked around her. She seemed at loss for words. After taking a few steps she turned around to watch the vortex closing. Her expression was filled with a lot emotions. Sadness, expectation, gratitude and finally joy.
She stood there for a few seconds with her eyes, looking at her surrounding. Then, she turned around going somewhere.
“Lord told me that only 10 days passed in this dimension. I hope it’s true, otherwise I would have to come up with another story to tell my family. Oh, right my phone should work now.”

As she walked, she suddenly thought of something. Her earing seemed to glitter a bit as a phone appeared in the air. She grabbed it and unlocked it. When she saw the wallpaper her lips curled. On the screen there was the blue-haired girl, that looked a lot frailer than now, and another shorter girl. Her hair was blond and was cut a bit longer than shoulder length. Her smile could easily smooth the heart of the blue-haired girl. The two girls seemed close as they leaned against each other as to take the photo.
“I came back, for you, Sanya.”
Talia Chevalier happily hummed as she walked toward her home, after 50 years of hard work as a Protector of Worlds
