《The Undead Dungeon》Chapter 9 - Chicken Dinner

Are you planning on using the undead to gather plants and killing some wolves?
"I was thinking of something bigger like a giant chicken," I said while licking my lips.
Are you going to mess with that giant owl? I hope you know what you are doing.
"It's high noon the perfect time to ambush a giant owl which is a nocturnal animal."
I told Lucia to scout ahead, look for the owl near the pond and I told Frank to lead the undead. After Lucia found the owl sleeping next to the pond. I gave instruction to my undead on how to fight the giant owl. The Undead quickly get into formation.
The fight starts when Lucia used [Sonic Scream] on the owl's ears. The Owl got startled and woke up dizzy. Two death hounds began to claw the owl's face and from behind Butch, Helen, and two death hounds began to attack the owl's wings.
The Owl began to flap his wings to thrown off the undead. The undead got thrown off the owl and slammed into a tree. It looks like a death hound broke its legs but everybody else looks fine. The owl began to move towards the wounded death hound and then he slammed his wings at the death hound. The death hound died like roadkill.
The Owl now began to walk towards Helen but before he could finish her off, Lucia screams again next to his ear. The dizziness causes the owl to wobble. When the owl wobbles Frank and Butch attack his legs which causes his upper body to fall into the pond.
Once the owl falls into the pond two death hounds pounce at him they clawed and bit his neck. The three zombies also start clawing at his stomach and began ripping his intestines. As a last-ditch effort, the owl uses his beak to tear a death hound that is near his neck limb from limb before suddenly the owl went very still. The owl died from blood loss.

When the owl died the undead began to eat him. The death hounds eat his brain, while the zombies prefer to eat the heart. Weird I thought the zombies would like to eat the brain rather than the heart, maybe zombies liking brains is just a stereotype they probably have different food preferences. One death hound is holding a fish that he caught in his mouth.
I told all of the undead to return to the dungeon and bring some owl body parts so that I can absorb it. They all went back looking a little beat up but relatively fine. That one death hound is still holding that goldfish, looks like he wants me to absorb it. I told all of them to rest so that they can heal their wounds.
Absorbed
Guardian of the pond (Giant Owl): 30 Mana
Pyro Goldfish: 5 Mana (Added to Monster)
Guardian of the pond? What is that owl guarding? I need to check the pond again later for things that I may have missed. Pyro Goldfish? Pyro means fire, why is there a fire type goldfish? They're fish they live in water what is the use of fire. So many question, so little answer.
"Mike, don't you think it is weird that there is a pyro goldfish?" I asked still not understanding what's a pyro goldfish.
You are talking to a blue box, inside of your undead dungeon and you're telling me a pyro goldfish is weird?
"You're right weird is a relative term. Let's just create a pyro goldfish to see what all the fuss is about."
I decided to create a pyro goldfish for 5 Mana. It looks like there can only be one pyro goldfish inside a pond. I take a good look at it, it looks like any other goldfish but it has a red scorch marked pattern on its body. It looks really interesting now that I look at it.

"Since you are interesting I will give you a name even though you are just a goldfish. I will name you Bob."
Why Bob?
"Because he looks like a Bob."
No arguments there. He does look like a Bob. Monster Status Name: Bob Race: Pyro Goldfish Information A goldfish that is able to use fire magic created from mana by Adam Undead Dungeon. Skill [Overheat] Overheat Active Skill Level: 1 Pyro Goldfish will surround its body with flame when it feels threatened.
"The fish that can use fire magic, I don't even know what to say," I said while sighing.
Now I just need to wait for the undead to heal their wounds before I can start exploring again. It's really handy to have tireless monsters.
