《Heaven's Grip : Orcs of Iaoue》Cleansing 7 : The Plan

I had a lot of fun during these past days. The thrill of hunting prey after the 'EVENT' became harder but at the same time, it was more satisfactory. Especially the recent one, those pigs are quite scary when they bared their fangs instead of scattering like a drop of water falling on the surface, they actually gathered their courage and encircled a predator like me. That one pig can even talk, that really tickled my funny bone.
The feeling of being surrounded by your prey is quite ecstatic, a feeling that I have never experienced before. But that night something weird happened, the adrenaline that was pumping my body came to a halt when a message popped inside my head.
You are under the influence of CALM - I
AF: 20% MP regeneration
Instead of acting based on instinct and continue to look down on my prey, I sensed an impending danger, my tiger sense is telling me that if I continue and fight it out with this mad pigs then the possibility of dying would be high. The only option is to retreat, but retreating empty handed would insult my pride as a predator, so I grabbed this heavy carcass and activated my new skill called leap and disappear from their sights. Those pigs are delicious but deadly - BURP.
When we returned to the camp, the hogs were not sitting idly. The previous zig-zag trench that we had made when we were initially searching for those worms turned into a curving empty river, it was 4 pigs deep. Not only was it deep but it was also wide, It can be estimated to be 5 pigs wider.
'I now have a clue as for what the Chief was planning.' I thought as we continued walking towards the Chief. He can be seen digging in the other end of the trench. It was rather far from the starting point of the trench which is near the tree where I collapsed but the Chief can still be seen since he was not inside the trench but was above ground trying to extend the trenches length. As we followed the trenches trail, we can see our brothers furiously digging. I can see red snouts left and right, but the hogs did not mind them since their survival is the highest priority, the pain that they feel have even improved the morale as the other batch of hogs who clearly came from resting started to dig. "Hey, Chief" shouted I as we walked closer to the guy I also used "inspect" when I'm at it. NAME: PAIR REEVES TITLE: CHIEF RACE: HOG SKILL: INSPIRE, RITUAL, FORTITUDE, ???, ???

'What a weird name,' is what I thought.
The Chief said that when he got 'LV2' and obtained status screen he found out that he was already named. He was about to ask someone to name him, but it was unnecessary since he already got one and it was rather epic sounding to boot. He forced himself to believe that he "grew some balls and got a pair" since he became the Chief and the name is also an evidence of it. The Chief said that when he named the 'horde' his 'LV' kept changing it became 'LV10', so I told him that maybe while thinking of names he was leveling his "naming sense" so that is the reason for the 'LV' up.
It seems Pic, Nic and Fig have returned. I stopped digging as I look towards the direction of the shout.
Their mission was to gather materials for the fortification of the camp and based on their faces it seems to be a success.
My plan was to copy the structure of the old man's farm. The farm was surrounded by a wooden fence and outside that fence was a deep hole. I don't know the reason for that but if I was the predator as long as I don't fly like the previous one, I would be having trouble going inside the camp. I ask them to bring wood that can be stuck into the ground as well as something that can act as a method to connect those woods and also things that they deem useful as well.
"SHOW ME," I spoke with an eager voice. With a plonk, Pic dropped the items one by one. I can see em' vines, short poles, and rocks.

"Good job but we need more," they did their job well but the items they brought back will not suffice so I have to calibrate my plan and make more teams of resource gatherers.
I can hear 'Oh pig' and some dejected sigh coming out from them, but I just ignored it and continued digging.
'I am hungry, walking sure took all the energy of my body,' i sighed inwardly as I walk away from that demonic Chief. The mission was a success but for us to do it all over again sure is a downer. Fig just sighed and walked towards a tree and started to look for food, it seems that going against the Chief's words are not registered in his vocabulary, while Nic just kept on snickering from watching me blow-up.
That stupid Chief won't even listen to me when I opposed the idea as if the effort that I gave earlier was not enough this evil hog will work me to death someday. The skill I got that I thought was a blessing turned out to be a curse, that opportunistic pig.
As I curse the Chief, Fig called me out.
"Pic come on man, I got some worms here," shouted Fig as he points the squirming worm that is trapped in one of his foot.
Of course, as if nothing happened my previous depressed mood evaporated as I came near Fig, 'I really like this guy, how many times better would it be if Fig was the Chief,' is a thought that popped out my mind. Not only was Fig cool, he also is very helpful and most of all he always gives me food when I'm down, unluckily Fig is a male, if only Fig was a female then I would have courted 'her' long ago.
Our feet swap and Fig continued to dig as I pressed the rootworm harder to not let it escape as I started taking some small bites. YUM.
After finishing the worm, Fig told me to prepare for tomorrow since the sun is setting down another resource gathering would be impossible, I wholeheartedly agreed to that and went back to my 'haven'.
But when I came nearer, I saw something...
