The hogs spent the night dead tired from working their selves to sleep. Loud snoring can be heard almost everywhere around the camp, some even slept inside the trench covered with dirt.

The Chief learning his lesson did not allow himself to sleep. Protecting the horde is his priority along with some trustworthy brothers they patrolled the camp to ensure security. Even though they participated during the day it seems their stat made them more durable. The night passed peacefully with no abnormalities. As the sun started to rise, the pigs who were sleeping like logs started to rise as well. Before the Chief and the members who participated in the night watch sleep, the Chief ensured to organize the resource gathering team. He mentioned that other details will be left to Fig as they fall asleep on the spot as he snored loudly. Fig who was already informed yesterday made teams of three and initiated the mission. Since they already knew the path it was fast and smooth walking as their speed was faster than yesterday but only Pic got a storage skill so hauling the items became a problem. The hogs who got bash skills are left behind the bamboo area to continue bashing those tall bamboos. The bamboo broke from their insistent bashing as other hogs separate the bamboo according to length. The hogs with high strength stat were assigned in the rocky area to push some rock towards the designated area and made a pile. The remaining hogs continued to walk in order to reach the place where they got those vines. Since most of the vines end have fallen to the ground, they simply pull them from whence tree they were clinging from. Pic's storage was indeed useful but using Pic as a hauling dump hog will tire the poor hog out so mainly relying on him for this whole operation is not suitable. Some brilliant hogs offered their opinions saying that each hog should carry one item, some agreed to this fair idea but it was trashed since if we are talking about the variables involved like the distance of each type of resource is not the same or the weight of the resource being carried is also not the same then the word 'fair' is only their imagination. But fairness is not the point here said Fig, he then told the hogs that they need a way to haul the things faster and not who is faster or who hauled more. This made the pigs realize that doing that really was pointless so they continued using their brains to think of something. A hog who was pulling a vine exerted more force than needed and caused a recoil making himself roll over as the vine kept on wrapping his poor self. This prevented the hogs to almost overheating their pig brains from their brainstorming. The hog who just got an idea from watching the incident shouted loudly and told them her idea. It was rather simple, they only need to wrap the stone with vines and attach the vines to their bodies so they can walk while pulling, as for the short pole, they bite them in the middle and carry all three items at once. The idea was unanimously agreed since it was simple yet efficient. Pic placed 15 vines into his belly space and went to the rocky area. He told his brothers about the way of hauling and started wrapping stones with vines. Pic left and went back to the vine area to get more, as he was going back he can see hogs dragging vines towards the rocky area. When the sun was shining in its highest, Fig decided to stop collecting vines and wrap up for today. They moved towards the rock area and attached those vines in their bodies and planned to get the bamboo poles. They will also inform those who are handling the bamboo poles about their hauling arrangement when they pass by it so they can also get their stones wrapped with vines that were left in the rock area. A group of hogs can be seen dragging stones and carrying poles in their mouth. As they were dragging their stones, they mowed the ground and unconsciously made a trail. They can see Pic in the forefront walking normally without carrying anything. Some hogs pointed it out and actually cursed Pic for being lazy. Pic defended himself by saying 'got 15 items with me, in terms of usefulness I overpowered you by 5 times' this statement only added fuel to the flame. If not for Fig interrupting, the hauling would have been halted. As for Nic, he was just snickering and always acting like a spectator not caring for a thing. When they were about to enter the camp Pic remembered something. He went close to Fig and said. "Fig I have something to show you, yesterday I saw something interesting happening in my 'haven' and I forgot to tell you about it" he excitedly walked faster towards the camp. Right now the trench length has increased, it seems like the Chief and the patrol are still sleeping but the others continued digging and are actually making progress. There was also a pile of small and medium sized rocks in the camp. It came from the ground when they were digging, the hogs piled it up since it may be useful later on. I walked beside the pile of rocks and told the team to place the items beside it and dismantle the vines. We formed a line of short ununiformed poles as the Hogs dropped the pole, I can see bite marks in the middle but that's fine. As we dismantled the rocks, it seems that the vines we used to wrap around the rocks have become mushy and wet so we bite that part off since we can no longer use that. It made the lines shorter but that won't become a problem since we made sure that the vine wrapped in our body was long enough and we still don't know the exact length needed. That's the Chief's problem, not mine. I gathered the team's attention and thank them for their hard work. After my half-hearted speech, the hogs went and drank water from the river and find some worms to eat. I also drank from the river but instead of looking for worms I went to look for Pic. The guy said that he wants me to see something, I wonder what would it be. As I walk deeper towards our messy camp, though we call it a camp it was just actually a gathering place for us hogs, we don't even have something to cover our heads with and we simply made marks on the ground to indicate our residence. When our body feels fiery we simply jump into the river and cool ourselves, I prefer sleeping under a tree's shade though. As I passed by empty dwellings, I saw Pic's back wagging his tail as he was fidgeting. I walked closer so I can have a closer look at what he's been doing. It seems my presence was noticed as he twists his neck and looks at me. An excited smile immediately formed. "OOOHH! FIG LOOK" shouted Pic excitedly. As I followed Pic's sight I saw a single stalk of grass growing on top of his dwelling, it was out of place since the area was littered with dry stuff and the only fresh thing in sight is that thing. "Ok it's a stalk of grass," I said as I was about to walk away but Pic stopped me yelling. "NO, it is not a stalk of grass, it is a magical grass that sprouted out of nowhere. It grows fast too". he exclaims as he continued to fidget around that stupid grass. 'Stupid Pic,' I walked away as I went to grab some late lunch.
