I'm in the meadow we love to come to in the spring. The trees are in full bloom. The pink petals of the trees are brushed by the wind. Some are swept away by it. They dance as they fall. I chase after the falling petals, spinning as I try to catch them. I'm playing by myself, no one else is here. I wonder where she... I spin and run around the circle of the clearing. As i spin again I see a smudge of amber across my vision. Ahh! Its mother!
I'm so happy to see her! I've missed her so much! I haven't seen her since... I run towards my mother. She picks me up in her arms and I give her a hug. I try to tell her how happy I am to see her, but she just smiles vaguely. She seems distant, she isn't really listening, she isn't even looking at me. I try to look into her eyes, but I can't.
She drops me on the ground and begins to walk away. I want to chase after her, but I'm shocked and can't move. She gets farther and farther away from me. I call out to her, but she doesn't hear me.
I try again to run after her, but I trip and fall. I'm falling. The ground has disappeared and mother is nowhere in sight. I'm falling into the darkness.
"Mother!"
I sit straight up. My heart is pounding in my chest. I wildly look around. I'm- I'm in my bedroom. I-it *hic* was a-a dream? But? *hic* I-I want to*hic* be with*hic* mother. Where i-is *hic* she! I want my mother! I completely dissolve into tears. The sobs racking my body make it so I can barely breath. Shiva and Asura have begun to howl. My crying upset them. I hear the pounding sound of running feet. Neil bursts into the room.

I try to answer, but I just can't. Speaking is beyond me and this point. All I manage to do is stutter.
"M-mo-mother~!"
My tears take me again, I completely lose it.

Neil hugs me and begins to stroke my head. I usually hate people petting me, but right now I'm Just too upset. I find it comforting. Neil stays with me until I've cried myself back to sleep. I know it was just a bad dream, but...I'm scared... No, my mother is okay and I will find her. But for now, I still miss her...
