"It’s okay, I do jogging in the morning, so don’t worry about me," he said, giving her an easy smile.
The girl looked crestfallen but quickly covered it up. They were brand new neighbors. She’d try again. She smiled, bidding him a good night, then took off.
Clyde’s face fell when she left. Why did he have to put up with this shit? He’d feel like the scum of the earth if he took advantage of the poor girl. Also, he didn’t want her to become the heroine.
He remembered what was on his stats page. Main character. If there was going to be a heroine, at least give him someone with a higher level. Someone who could help him defeat the Viper. He just hoped the Viper wasn’t some other human or being existing from another world. Someone kidnapped and placed into this game.
He tossed a detergent pad into the dishwasher then after it was loaded and good to go, turned it on.
Clyde viewed his stat page after showering.

Form had zero? What did it mean? At least his intelligence took the position as highest stat. He’d be insulted if it didn’t. Special remained clouded in a mystery of question marks. Did that mean he’d have to gain a special ability first?
Clyde recognized Athlete as a passive skill. As long as he trained his body every morning, he’d keep the boost, right?
Perhaps the most insulting thing was his talent. Main character stuff? What in the hell—he tried to click on it, highlight—anything that could possibly make it elaborate. Nothing happened. The screen was there to display and vanish.

As Clyde drifted off the sleep, his brain racked on stats, the next anime trope, and so on. He decided if Harumi was going to be his neighbor anyway, he’d befriend her. He just couldn’t get close in case she triggered something that would make her an impossibly avoidable nuisance.
Clyde shook off the douchebag thoughts. If someone’s just trying to be nice, don’t be an ass. He’d remember that. Maybe.

(On Hold) Regarding my time being a God, it was fun
After winning the lowest prize from Divine Lottery, a young man was thrown, by Goddess of Fortune, into a fantasy world and became a God. With only a small land as his sanctuary, he strives to protect his shrine from being destroyed…This is hardly an original idea, but the concept caught my interest so I decided to write it just for fun. There are a bunch of holes and gaps in the story line since I’m just making it up to fit my interests as I go. I warned you~ Read at your own risk of getting irritated over some details.Status: Starting Volume Two

Harry Potter and the Dark Phoenix [Rewritten as a new Book]
After losing Hedwig while escaping from Voldemort, Harry found it hard to come to terms with her death. Filled with grief, rage and hatred, Harry swears to take revenge on every single death eater and especially on Voldemort himself. Receiving power from unexpected sources, Harry sets out on his mission to bring the dark lord and his followers to their knees. ============ This novel has been posted on Webnovel, Scribblehub, Fanfiction and RoyalRoad. During the final rewrite, the plot changed so much that it was nothing like this one. So I posted it as a new story instead. Please go read that instead. It is called Harry Potter and the Dark Phoenix. If I have time, I might finish this book with the current plot, but I don't have any plans as of now.

This rift transports him into another galaxy, where his journey to become the core of the most prominent sect begins. --- This is my first story, and the release schedule will be spotty in the beginning because I still have to do a lot of world building and thinking where the story should go. But I decided to put it out into the world to get some feedback so I can see what people think about it and maybe even get some inspiration. --- The cover image is not my own. I copied it from the internet. I thought it was cool and it suited the story. All rights reserved for the owner of the image.
