Hi! thanks for reading my story!
If you had a question, suggestion or whatever you can make it there.
So, for my first announcement: For the next few weeks, I'll only post on thursday. I'll post two chapters at the least on this day except for christmas. I'll just post one.
I'm working on my other stories that I neglected until now. I had a shock when I read one and it was totally unreadable with blatant mistakes I missed for months so i'm quite busy with rewriting.
I read a lot of complaints about the fact that my story isn't totally focused on virtual reality and that there was a lot of drama.
My answer is that it's done intentionally. The drama is the main motor behind the story. It makes it advance and evolve.
I write the story so that RL and game-life will influence each other. I can't forcefully give up on one or I won't be able to write the story I thought of.
There is also complaints about the prologue. Actually, in the beginning it was supposed to be chapter 1 and the story would have gone from there. Problem was i had to include massive flashbacks that made the story unreadable. In the end I decided, to tell everything that happened in the past first and then when the story will catch up with the prologue, I'll just have to put little sentences to remind of what happened rather than the massive flashbacks I had trouble with.
It's obvious, the story will not end when it will catch up to the prologue. But that's still in the future.
Why did I put this prologue? Because it gives a lot of spoilers and anticipation on what's to come next without giving any clear answer. When I wrote it, I wanted the readers to wonder what happened before and what will happen next.
I don't know if I succeeded but I tried.
I don't know if I answers all the questions you have but feel free to ask them.

Digging To Survive: I Can See Hints
After being awakened from their slumber, billions of people found themselves dispersed in various sealed crypts. Surrounded by earth, they each had only a shovel. They had to dig their own tunnels in order to advance to the next crypts. Nobody could predict whether it was a crypt full of supplies or monsters ahead! Klein was also forced to join in the digging, but he could see hints. [Dig further and you will end up in magma.] [It’s not a bad idea to dig to your right. After you enter the crypt, dash for four meters and stab the underground creature in slumber to death with a spear.] [A baby lamb is awaiting you on your left.] While everyone else was still exploring cautiously, Klein was already loaded with supplies and was dominating the underground world. While the rest were still stressed over their next meal, Klein was already trading with others with his leftover food…

Technically Sentient
Technically Sentient is the uncomfortable answer to the Fermi Paradox: bureaucratic inertia. There's also a shark cop in there too. And a human meat tank and a bunch of greys down on their luck and a viral bioengineered killing machine and a T-posing AI and a cat. But they're not important, in the grand scheme of things.

The Crippled Seed
Even a small child in Adrias knows that everyone is born with some magic. It is common knowledge that magic blooms at around the age of 13, and even though the gift of magic varies from person to person, everyone possesses it. When Nina is 14 years old, her magic tests report that she has no magic inside her. To hide that fact, she has to quit school against her wishes and live a sheltered life. That lifestyle, however, lasts for a mere two years as bandits strike her village and she has to move out, forced to survive and be something—anything—in this world full of magic...without possessing a single speck of it.

Marakar
Far from the exploration he yearned to go on, Rae, the Kijah prince, finds himself in the middle of the impending war between Kijah'dar and Ga'ani. Unknown to him, or to the rest of the states, the Kijah Magister plots to overthrow the queen, and he will stop at nothing to achieve his plans. Marakar is a fantasy adventure series about the island states of Mar’narana (with focus primarily on the two states, Kijah'dar and Ga'ani). Tensions between the big players are rising, with more and more plots getting revealed, and powers are unexpectedly shifting. As the string of seemingly unconnected events grows taut, the smaller nations suddenly find themselves into the midst of things, struggling with the sudden shifting of their boards. On a more meta note, I am trying to develop two storylines parallel to each other. As you might have noticed, odd-numbered chapters are very different from even-numbered chapters. That’s because those are the two different storylines; odd-numbered chapters are in the present, while even-numbered ones are in the past. Once the two eventually meet I'll continue with just the present storyline. This story can also be found here where it currently updates every other Sunday (about twice a month). Feedback is greatly appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to read. :) tw/cw list (please take care of your mental health! Don't force yourself to read these chapters if they may harm you). -------> Chapter 14: hate crime description.
