Looking at the scene from the other side of the valley, Chris had a look of horror on his face. He was a mid 6th rank warrior and also one of the ten commanders of the Red Storm Legion. The Red Storm Legion was a special force under the command of the 3rd imperial prince of the Nicholas Empire.

The uncrowned Emperor had the twelve Dragon pillars while the 3rd imperial prince had the Red Storm Legion. However, unlike the twelve dragon pillars that consisted of only twelve people, the Red Storm Legion was comprised of more than five thousand members and ten powerful commanders.

The 3rd imperial prince had relied on them to instill fear into the hearts of many powerful opposing nobles within the empire as well conquering two small countries for the Nicholas Empire. The Red Storm Legion's base was located in the Sky Suppression city, a city that was bestowed the 3rd imperial prince by the emperor because of his huge contribution to the empire.

Chris was the 10th commander and also the weakest of the ten commanders, after knowing the 3rd imperial prince had planned to kill the 4th imperial prince of the Djage empire in order to stop him from entering the southern region of the Mulan kingdom as well as getting revenge for destroying the plan that his mother's family had been preparing for more than a decade to quietly take over the Mulan kingdom by making his little cousin Hegel become the new king, Chris had quickly volunteered to the mission in order to rack up some contribution points and make a name for himself as the commander that had wiped out the 4th imperial prince of the Djage empire as well as his guards.

He had long heard the tales and legends of the 4th imperial prince of the Djage Empire, and killing him would be a huge boost to his fame.

After getting the approval of the 3rd prince, Chris quickly left Sky Suppression city for the southern part of the Mulan kingdom. Sky Suppression city was very close to the southern region of the Mulan kingdom. In fact, it was the first city one will see if they were to travel to the Nicholas Empire from the Mulan kingdom.

Sky Suppression city was strategically one of the most important cities of the southern border of the Nicholas Empire. If the Djage Empire was to invade the Nicholas empire through the Mulan Kingdom, then Sky suppression city would the first city that they'd have to conquer and also their first obstacle as it was heavily guarded by the 3rd imperial prince of the Nicholas empire.

From the Sky suppression city, it didn't take Chris three days to make it to the southern part of the Mulan kingdom then the Valley of death. He didn't bring all his troops with him but a 5th class wind mage, Amadiel, who was his second in command. He already had more than four hundred men infiltrated the southern region of the Mulan Kingdom long ago who were disguised as bandits, merchants, blacksmiths etc.

As for Antony, the leader of the Mountain tigers, he was just recently brought by the 3rd imperial prince not too long ago. Chris had used them as baits to grasp the enemy's strength which surprised him.

One of the four imperial knights was enough to give him a hard time and there were four of them, how could he attack them head-on, not to mention the guards weren't weaklings either. As such, he had used long-range attacks to kill some of them and wear them out before attacking them head-on.

His plan was going very smooth but he had never expected that they would meet such a powerful enemy that could wipe out two hundred of his men in an instant. No matter how arrogant he was, he was still deathly pale after witnessing this scene.

While Chris was debating with himself in his mind whether to retreat or risk it all by descending the Mountain to kill the 4th imperial prince within the carriage which would be a lot safer than staying here because that powerful person won't be able to use that spell when he was next to imperial carriage, the sky suddenly turned black in broad daylight.

Chris suddenly raised his head and stared up at the sky. This scene was so familiar to him and had imprinted deep within his soul. It was exactly like earlier.

A huge black hole appeared in the sky, on top of the mountain where the rest of his two hundred men were stationed. The strange thing was, fierce winds suddenly started to blow, and the huge trees in the nearby mountains started to shake. Their leaves began to float in all directions. At the same time, a huge pressure suddenly came out the black hole and affected the entire ground beneath it.

"Run..."

At this moment, everyone was scared shitless, even the arrogant Chris who was a mid 6th rank warrior was also deathly pale. He yelled and turned to escape from the mountain and get away as far as possible from that black hole because he knew what was coming from it, his demise.

Chris did not dare to be reckless. His battle qi started to permeate through all his body parts like bubbles. Chris's entire body and skin now radiated an indistinct yellow glow that formed a shield around his body as he was running away from the black hole with his fastest speed.

As for Amadiel, he didn't dare to stay underneath the black hole either. He quickly cast a magic spell on himself which triple his speed. He was even faster than Chris who was a warrior and was known for his agility and speed.

But as an unlucky member of red storm legion was escaping, a two-meter lightning spears came from the black hole and pierced him to the ground! he let out a pitiful and miserable squeal before his body was turned into ashes. He was the first one to die.

" Danm it, where the fuck is that coward, come to face us the Red Storm legion head on and we will show y..."

~Bang~

Before the guy could even finish what he was saying, a huge rock slammed against his head and turned it into meat paste. The guy still didn't know how he died, he was expecting to die by a lightning arrow or spear, but never did he expect that his head was going to be crushed by a huge rock. wasn't he worthy of being kill by a lightning arrow?

One of guy that was close to him saw that scene and was even more terrified by it, not only he had to guard against lightning arrows and spears, but now he had to look out for huge rock as well. Was that damn mage toying with them, the Red Storm Legion?.

Not only him, all of the Red storm legion lost their minds as they turned around and ran. They didn't even dare to look at the sky. They had only one thing in their minds which was getting far away from that mountain where the sun didn't shine.

In the meantime, streaks of lightning arrows and spears dove down from the sky and fell down upon them like raindrops and stripped their lives away from them, and occasionally some big rocks. Countless lightning arrows and spears penetrated their throats, their shoulders, and legs while they were running away.

"Ah....Ah...a..."

At this time, the place became hell. Countless warriors were killed and their blood flowed down the mountain like a river.

No matter whether they were 1st rank, 2nd rank or 3rd rank warrior, beneath the black hole, only death reigned supreme! Even Chris who was a 6th rank warrior was in a sorry state as he was running away. It was unknown if he was hit by a lightning arrow, spear or a big rock. Not only the members of the Red Storm legions were running, even the members if Lightning corps who were a little further away from the mountain were running as well because they realized that black hole was getting bigger as the enemy troops were running.

At this point, each and every lightning arrow and the spear was like a death reaper as they were harvesting the souls of the red storm legion below.

Within a blink of an eye, in the far distance, the shrill screams continued to resound time and time again along with the crackling sounds of the lightning arrows and spears.

All the members of the Red Storm Legion wished they could immediately leave this hellish mountain. Many of them pissed their pants from terror while screaming in fear. However, no matter how fast they were, they couldn't escape the areas covered by the black hole in time. Some of them wished they had two more legs in order to quickly flee from this place.

In less than a minutes, the Red Storm Legion was completely annihilated leaving behind only Chris who was in a sorry state and Amadiel who wasn't that much better. They both had a look of horror and relief on their faces as though they had just escaped from the grip of the god of death
