Chapter 11
Conclave of Greater Gods
"Did you warn them?"
"Yes. I allowed one of them to contact him and ask what his plans are, but I forbid any attack on him, and threatened them with extermination, should they attack him. It seems the rumours of my strength have grown over the years."
Darkness laughed as he reported to the Greater Gods. He resembled a floating black miasma, that was constantly changing shape.
"Yes. We convinced all of the Lesser Gods that you were the one who killed those four, all those years ago. It helps to have a minion that everyone fears, because they think that we fear you. It would be bad if they were to discover the true reason those four died. It might even overturn our existence."
Salar, King of the Gods, at least the Gods of this world, said as he leaned back in his chair. He looked like a ripped old man, with long white hair and a beard.
He looked like this: http://wall.alphacoders.com/big.php?i=202420
"We must proceed carefully. The Magic King is not a serious threat, at least not yet. At most he could take out a dozen Lesser Gods, although his alliance with Markal is troublesome. It is Her we have to be wary of. I reccomend, that we hold our forces back and let this Azran do as he pleases. We can take some losses for the next couple of hundred years, until he dies. Then we have all eternity to recoup our temporary losses. It is far better than the near extermination we faced last time."
When he finished talking Zaradis, the six armed God of warriors, leaned forward.
He looks like this: http://wall.alphacoders.com/big.php?i=312389
"Do you think he knows Her true nature? It would be troublesome if he attempts to manipulate Her into attacking us."
Salar shook his head slightly.
"No. He thinks of Her as a goddess or a titan. He has no knowledge of Her true nature. And I do not believe she will volunteer that information. After all she did lie to him and say that she had never been here before, so I doubt she will endanger his trust in her by admitting this fact. Does everyone agree with my reccomendation?"
Every one of the Greater Gods, seated or floating, around the giant table nods.
"Very well then. We shall avoid the Magic King Azran and his guardian\wife at all costs. We have no wish to antagonize Navaris. . . The God-Eater."
Demon King Lana Bloodray POV
I glared down at my spymaster, who was cowering in front of me. I had not been in a good mood since that event a month ago. I was currently in my Crystal Lord form, with several sharp crystal shards growing out of my body.
These are Demon King Lana Bloodray's three forms. Each of which allows her to control the respective element at will.
Flame Dancer: http://wall.alphacoders.com/big.php?i=133762
Crystal Lord: http://wall.alphacoders.com/big.php?i=564435
Master of Metal: http://wall.alphacoders.com/big.php?i=191665
"So what have you found? Is it true that the Great Demon God Markal was summoned to this world?"
"Y-Yes your majesty. It appears that the Great Demon God was summoned by his champion. It would be unthinkable that he could be summoned without his express permission, so the only option we could come up with is that the man who summoned him, was his champion."
Well. That did make sense, but why wasn't I informed of this, I am Markal's high priestess after all. So I should have been made aware of a new champion.
"So, why was I not informed of a new champion? And why did he become the king of the Dark Elves, instead of coming here to claim his place as a champion?
"Because, Your Majesty, our spies have heard rumors that this Azran is not originally from this world. By putting together what we have learned from our spies, we have deduced that he was sent here by the Great God Coffee, that the Dark Elves are always talking about. It appears that The Great Demon God Markal, has an alliance with this Coffee and that Azran is on loan from Coffee, and was sent here as a temporary champion to drive the self-righteous humans away from our lands and restore us demons to our rightful place as rulers of the world. That is all I have to report, and although most of this is speculation, I am convinced of its truth."
Well if that is true, then it would definitely explain why he became King of the Dark Elves. He is beginning to raise an army to assist us in driving off the humans. Hmmm. I wonder who this Great God Coffee is? I suppose I should put my troops on standby. If he really is Markal's champion then I will be able to deny him very little. Although I should secure a solid alliance with him before, I allow him to visit, just so that he doesn't have a reason to try and take my throne.
"Very well. You are dismissed. Continue to keep me updated on his movements, and prepare some human sacrifices for Markal. I will attempt to contact him, and ensure that this Azran really is his champion. It isn't good to do anything on unproven beliefs.
With that I shifted to my Fire Dancer form and left the throne room. It was time to have some good old fashioned human sacrifices. I loved their pathetic screams as I tore out their hearts on the sacrificial altar. Ah. The seductive scent of blood, fear, and despair. It doesn't get any better than that.
War God Marxis POV
He looks like this : http://wall.alphacoders.com/big.php?i=115457
I reached out and contacted my champion in the Shilian Empire. I'll show these pathetic old gods, who are scared of their shadows, what real power is. I won't even have to intervene myself, I'll just give a whole bunch of power to Steven Longarm, my champion. It will have the unfortunate affect of killing him soon afterwards, but it should still be enough to kill this obnoxious bug.
"Steven. I have a job for you. I am sure you have heard about the upstart King who annihilated a small army, correct?"
Steven looks like this: http://wall.alphacoders.com/big.php?i=173319
"Of course, My God. And if you wish it I will do my best to exterminate him, but I do not know if my current power is enough to kill him."
Hmm. Smart kid, he's still loyal but not dumb enough to follow orders blindly. It's almost a shame to waste his life on this obnoxious bug.

"You are correct. So I have deigned to grant you access to a part of my power for this mission. When you have succeded and enslaved the Dark Elves, you will be amply rewarded."
Ah, His eyes lit up with greed when I mentioned the reward. That is what I love about humans, they are so easy to manipulate. Offer them enough and they will kill their precious wife or child just for the chance of power. I had Steven kill his parents, and brother for this power. It is always amusing to watch their faces as they kill their loved ones, it is a mixture of greed and disgust, mainly at themselves for doing this, but their greed is still to strong.
I smile as I pump power into Steven, by the time I am done he will be at the level of a demi-god, but since his body is not strong enough to endure this, he will die soon after. It should take about an hour to dillute the power enough for his body to be able to contain it for a small amount of time.
After I am done, I will teleport him to the town that this Azran fellow is approaching. He will never see it coming, and I will laugh as the power of a demi-god reduces this foolish mortal to dust.
Azran POV
Ah. It is the perfect day. The sun is shining, the grass is green. There is a large platform where a bunch of beast-people are about to be sold into slavery, and a spear wielding beast-woman is about to be hung. And I am standing in the crowd, preparing to massacre a bunch of people. Yes. It is a good day for a massacre. Well any day is a good day for a massacre, but today was especially good. I'm definitely going to take my time and enjoy this.
Oh. It looks like they started to hang the beast woman. Hmm. She's actually pretty hot. She looks like she's about 24, with long white hair and tanned skin. If I had to guess, she would be some sort of cat-woman.
Imagine cat ears, and a tail on her:
http://art.alphacoders.com/arts/view/33443/Artwork-Art
Wait. Am I getting turned on while watching her choke? Damn. I am a sadistic b*stard, but this is a new low, even for me. Or maybe I just like hot catgirls? Hmmm. Well Navaris did say that she would allow a couple of concubines.
'Hey Navaris. Can I keep her?'
'Hmm. I suppose so. I always wanted a pet cat.'
Cool. Although I suppose Navaris will enjoy playing with her, as much as I will. After all, every man has wanted a catgirl at least once. {Come on. You know I'm right}
Well, I should probably save her before she dies. I sever the rope that is holding her by her neck and teleport beneath her, catching her as she falls.
She's struggling rather weakly so she's still alive, as I throw her over my shoulder like a bag of potatoes.
I turn and face the stunned crowd. "Sorry, but she's going to be my new toy. So I can't let you kill her."
There is silence for a moment before one of the female guards charged me with her sword, causing all of the other guards to follow her.
She was tall. .She was beautiful. .She was gorgeous. . .She was dead.
I teleported behind her and ripped her spine out of her back. A bunch of blood splattered on my face, as well as some parts of various vital organs, as her lifeless body collapsed in front of me. I grinned, that felt so good. It has definitely been to long since I have done this.
I turned and faced the next guard, but before he reached me six swords sliced his body to pieces.
Damn. I forgot about my overzealous bodyguards. I don't want them to interrupt my fun, but I also don't want to make them feel useless. Oh. Yeah, I almost forgot about all of the beast-people slaves.
I turned to Hasan "Hasan, take the other bodyguards and go free and protect the beast-people. We can use them to establish an alliance with their people, or we can just absorb their kingdom. But either way they can give us vital information. I will take care of these small fry, so please protect those beast-people. Oh. and would you mind taking her. This is my new toy\pet, so be careful with it."
With that I tossed the cat-woman to him and turned back to the oncoming guards. Finally, I can fight freely and I made up some stupid story so that the bodyguards would feel useful, and think that I was an awesome king. Yeah, All praise ME!
I catch the next guard's sword in my hand and rip it out of his grip, before sticking my other hand into his mouth and ripping off the top of his head. I spin and notice the bodyguards breaking the slave's chains, before I use the guard's sword to slice the next person in half, twisting the blade as it sliced through bone.
Glorious blood soaked my body, as I tossed away the ruined sword and invoked a simple earth spell, making the earth suddenly lurch towards me. This made all of the guards stumble, and gave me enough time to get out of the middle of them. I leapt into the air and landed behind a group of them, before manipulating the water droplets in their blood, making their bodies burst into a bunch of tiny pieces, sending a shower of gore into the air. Ah. To be covered in blood and guts once more. Now let's try a new way of killing them.
Hmm. I suppose I could try that. It was forbidden on Earth but here there's no one here to stop me.
I extended my hand towards one of the guards and concentrated. There, I found his mana pool. I then ripped it out of his body and absorbed it into mine. I watched as his body rapidly aged before turning into dust. Hmm. It's a little more extreme than I realized, but human mana is really the best. Now I just have to kill a couple thousand more people and my mana pool will be full.
Although that's not going to happen, because there are only about thirty guards left. I looked into the village and saw several merchants trying to escape with their wares.
Hmm. I suppose the Royal treasury could deal with a slight increase. Well before that let's deal with some of these guards. It's actually amazing that none of them are trying to run away.
I leap forward and knee one of the guards in the gut, before leaping back and raising him above my head. I then gripped his neck and his waist, and ripped his head and his entire spine out of his body, showering me in blood and intestines.
Hmm. I'll have to shower before I get back, because this is not going to smell nice in a couple of hours.
I look towards the retreating wagons and decide that I should probably stop them before they get to much farther away. I leap forward and rip out the throats of two guards before crushing another one's head between my hands. That should be enough for now.
I quickly teleported to each of their wagons, killing the horses before teleporting back to the platform, where the guards were attacking my bodyguards. Not that they were doing any damage. Within moments Hasan had already killed five of them and the rest had killed about two each, leaving none of them alive. It was a measure of how good they were that none of them had recieved a single wound or let a single prisoner be harmed.
"Good job guys. Now let's get. . ."
I barely had enough time to throw a couple of force spells, flinging my bodyguards and the prisoners backwards, before my body was vaporized by an enormous stream of light.
"My Lord!" The voices of my bodyguards rang out.
"HAHAHAHAHA!"
Laughter rang throughout the sky, as Steven materialized above where I had been standing.
"What a fool! You thought you were so tough, but I showed you. You were nothing but a bug to be crushed under my foot. I am Steven Longarm, Champion of the War God Marxis. and I have destroyed you."
My bodyguards gritted their teeth and prepared to leap up to attack him. But before they could my voice sounded, seeming to come from every direction at once.
"Don't get cocky brat. You owe me a new body."
Darkness swirled in the air, and seemed to seep out of the ground before converging on one spot and condensing into my demon form.
"Do you have any idea how much freaking mana it takes to grow a new body? No, you don't, do you. Because you've never done it. Did you honestly think that an attack like that would be enough to kill me. You're about 37, 000 years to young to offer me a serious challenge."
I said that but it was rather close. I would have survived even if Navaris hadn't pulled my soul into the void, just before it hit my body. But I would have had to use a lot more mana, and in my current condition, that was not ideal.
'Thanks Navaris. I owe you one'
'You owe me far more than just one, but this man is annoying me. Also something seems off. His power levels are almost equal to yours, but his body is far inferior, he is still bound to his human life, and is unable to discard his body at will.'
'Yeah. I'm guessing he recieved some sort of temporary power up, from some unknown small time God who was pissed that I was f*cking around in his territory.'
Well a least now I have a semi-decent opponent to fight. But if we fight here, we'll probably destroy the surroundings. Hmm.
'Hey Navaris. If I grab him can you teleport us to the void?'
'Sure. Just grab him, and I'll take care of the rest. It will give us a substantial advantage, since no other being can interfere with the void.'
'By the way. How come none of the other Gods can interfere with the void?'
'I am technically not a God. I am more like a part of the void that gained consciousness.'
'Oh. Well that explains it. I always wondered what exactly you were. It's actually kind of cool.'
'Really. You do not feel ashamed of being married to what is simply a being that was originally just a piece of nothingness with a will?'
'Nope. Are you ashamed to be married to a sociopathic maniac who enjoys killing and is known worldwide as a sadistic b*stard?'
'No'
'Then we're good. Just make sure to get us both there.'
With that I contacted Hasan and told him to take the prisoners and my toy\pet, as well as the riches from the merchants wagon, back to the fort. And that I would be back as soon as I was finished with this Steven Shortdick. . . Or whatever the hell his name was.
"How dare you ignore me! I will send you to Hell!"
Steven unleashed another blast of pure mana at me. Really are all champions complete morons. I teleported behind him and ripped his arms off.
"Been there, done that. I actually visit at least once a year. Their lava springs are quite the tourist attraction. But you'll probably end up in the pit."
I grabbed his body in a bear hug, and mentally shouted at Navaris
'Now!'
And Just like that our surroundings faded, and were replaced with the nothingness that was the void. I shove Steven's body away from me.
Ah. There was that familiar bone shattering pain again. It actually feels rather nice.
"AAAAAUUUUUGGGGGHHHH!"
Oh. Looks like our guest doesn't like it, too bad. I was really hoping to have a nice calm conversation with him. . .NOT!
I create a knife out of the Darkness that surrounds us. Well shall we begin this torture session. All eyes on the torturer, class. You don't want to miss this next part.

8 148Storm of the Elementals
The apocalypse was something that people were expecting to happen sooner or later, rising sea levels and everything. What our protagonist didn't expect was it to be from a system, let alone the fact that he missed it. Waking up as an elemental and being given frighteningly little info from a system that seemed a little off , stuck with 3 other eccentric individuals that he could almost swear are a bit dodgy, and not being quite sure he was human anymore, it was the start of a long day. It only got longer when he found out he was moved to a whole different world. ~ This is a slow burn story, focusing on the world and what happens if an eccentric historian gets transported in a world with systems and power that are not quite meant for him. ~ Some things you can expect: -No harem, god no. -Yes the protagonist is strong, no he isn't completely OP. -Other people who have been changed, he isn't the only special or chosen one who got transported or messed with. -It is sad to actually have to put this here, but the main character does shockingly have common sense.
