《Dungeon Games》Prologue: Birthday Present.

Today was a very special day! I just turned ten years old! It was also the day my Daddy would come home from his job to see me.
Mommy said that he has a very important job, and that's why I almost never get to see him. It's also why I am so excited now. He promised me over the holo call that he had a special surprise for me this year.
He wouldn't be home until late though, his work would keep him. So I enjoyed the morning and afternoon with my Mommy, and some of my friends, really only two of them.
Jessica, and Franny (Franchesca), they were the only ones who came to see me after I was diagnosed with a weak immune system. Mommy said it dealt with something called my white blood cell count, and that is why I have to stay inside in a sterile environment.
She said the doctors said if I kept being a good girl I would get better with treatment and time. Daddy also said that he worked so much at his job so he could ensure I received the best medical care available.
It made me happy, knowing I was so loved.
But I got sidetracked. Jessica, and Franny were inside the living room with me, and we were all eating cake while watching the T.V
The show that was on was a tournament coverage of the game Dungeon Wars. It's been out for, forever. That's also the place Daddy works. I loved watching these games, because it showed the work Daddy did, and made me feel closer to him.
"Sid, you want some ice-cream baby?" my Mommy called out.
"Yes~!" I yelled in excitement as I saw one of the Goblins from the amateur A.I dungeon take down a Bone Knight from its competitor.
I didn't know exactly how it all worked, but I loved watching the dozens of figures created by the A.I dungeon systems fight. It was always so amazing!
After a moment, Mommy brought all of us ice-cream, and we ate it while enraptured by the screen.
The food I ate was special made for my illness, and I was told that even if it tasted bad I needed to eat it. I was part of boosting my immune systems and making me better.
So I ate the yucky paste tasting food, pretending to be happy with it. My friends struggled through it with me, because they didn't want me to feel alone. I loved them!
"Wow! Did you see the Ogre? How did an Amateur get enough to gain that Evolution?" Jessica asked in excitement.
Franny fiddled with her glasses, and spoke, as though from memory and sounding older than she was. "He could have had his A.I for years and worked to gain the needed points the hard way, or he battled friends in school to gain it. There are countless methods after all."
I giggled at them both and listened. I loved listening to them debate. We were all a bit fanatical in our following of the Amateur division.
Franny and Jessica wanted to join when they were old enough to legally buy the A.I unite, at age twelve, along with one of the five starter Races they sold to beginners to help them learn the ropes.
The beginning races were Goblin, Skeleton, and one of two animal race (Wolf, Rabbit), there was also Slime.
Few people chose slime, and I understood. They were icky.
Each Race had an evolutionary pattern they could follow, you could also create new evolution's with knowledge you fed your A.I, and if you had the points.

Points were gathered either by the A.I, slowly, through interacting with you and building a personality, or being fed information regarding it's starting race.
The dungeon also came with a table that became a living, breathing world in a small 10 by 10 cubicle like device that Daddy said housed the creatures. You could grow the world by either adding to the table, or creating dungeon areas inside the caves that doted the world and moving down to create more options.
I wanted to see my creatures, if I got one, so I'd just add to my table surface area. I doubted I would though, it was a sport, more than a hobby like I wanted it to be. And I would not be able to leave my bubble until I was at least fifteen.
It made me sad, knowing my friends would go on with their lives, and chase the dream I saw in their eyes when they looked at the screen.
So I soaked up all the time I could with them. It made me happy, even if tinged with the odd sensation that left my belly hurting.
We spent the rest of the afternoon watching the Amateur tournament come to it's conclusion.
The winner was the Goblin boy from the first round. The announcer said his name was Greydon. He was kind of cute, in an odd lanky way.
From the matches we saw, he had a lot of knowledge and skill about his Goblin race, and used his Evolution's to the best ability for each of the Goblin species he had. Goblin, Hob-Goblin, and Ogre.
Franny, and Jessica started talking again about the races they would pick when they were old enough to have an A.I. Franny wanted the Wolf beasts, because she liked the idea of evolving them into the Beastmen variant and playing with them. She was very much a dog lover.
Jessica wanted the Skeletons, oddly, but it fit her personality. I overheard Mommy calling her a 'Goth' before, because she dressed in black a lot, and her Mommy let her dye her hair Purple. I thought she looked cute that way.
After some time, it started to get dark, and they went home. I hugged them both and thanked them for the wonderful gifts, a Plushie of a cartoon like Skeleton from Jessica that was soft and warm, and Franny gave me a Sweater with a puppy on it. I loved them!
When 10 P/M came around Mommy tried to get me to go to bed, and I could see Daddy tomorrow. But I stubbornly waited for him in his big comfy chair that Mommy positioned to face the door for me.
After a while I slowly drifted off to sleep, and woke up when I felt a familiar warm hand on my back, the soft whisper of Daddies voice breaking through my sleep. "Sweet heart, I'm home. I'm sorry I'm so late."
I yawned, and rubbed my eyes gently before realizing Daddy was home and throwing my arms around his neck and yelling "Daddy!!!"
He laughed and picked me up in a big bear hug and swung me in a circle.
"Hey there Cuddle bug, do you forgive Daddy?"
I nodded and hugged him harder.
"Happy Birthday Sweet heart." He set me down in his chair again, and kneeled down to rest on the balls of his toes, while one hand went to his pocket, and then he placed his hand behind his back.
He looked at my present from Jessica, and Franny, and smiled.
"I see you already got some good presents, you won't want Daddies then I guess."

I smacked him on his nose. "Daddy! I want it and I want another hug!" I was being a baby, and I didn't care. It was still my Birthday, I think, and I missed him.
He gave me another hug, and then handed me a very small box, no bigger than his palm.
"Here you go Sweetheart, a gift I know you have wanted for a long time."
I frowned and opened the little box. Inside was a little yellow cube. No..."Daddy?"
"It's a core, sweetheart. You know that. I know how hard this has been for you, being trapped here, and only seeing your friends a few times a week. So I spent the last month creating this little one for you. It's a Starter Core, but it has a special Race that has not been released to the public, and will only be available to Master Players because of it's difficulty."
He smiled softly when he saw me starting to cry, I was so happy.
"I know you can manage the critters, and learn how to best use them. Grow the A.I and show me what you can do when you are all better, ok?"
I knew Daddy was the one suffering the most, he barely got to see me, and each time he did I knew I looked thinner, and more sick though the Doctors swore I was getting better.
Mommy at least was able to be with me all the time and see the progress. Daddy only saw the damage of lacking food for proper muscle and fat growth.
I wrapped my arms around him, and gave him a kiss on his cheek. "I love it Daddy! Thank you so much!"
"Want to go set it up in your room, and connect with it Cuddle bug?" I nodded enthusiastically, the tears still in my eyes a bit.
We went to my room, the Table we would use was already there. I had begged Daddy to put it there a year ago so i could pretend and play when I was alone.
It was a larger Table, set up for the A.I interface that Daddy had lying around the house and couldn't use because of a minor wire. So I had bought it with hugs and cuddles from him and Mommy.
It was a 20 by 20 square table. Large for A starter dungeon, but I never expected to get one. This was so amazing.
The table took up the majority of my room, roughly a third, but I didn't have a lot. A small table for my computer in the far right corner near a window that I could look out and see the birds that went to the feeders, and a double sized bed in the other. The rest was stuffed toys and the table.
Daddy went about plugging everything in, and then took the odd Yellow core from me, and placed it in the Center, before handing me a small watch.
"This watch will let you talk to your A.I as it grows, and let you pick options. I made this core special, for you Sid, it will help you a bit here and there as it grows with you. Ok, ready? I'm going to start it up, ready? Remember, the A.I will connect to you alone through a D.N.A sample the watch takes and create neural link through the watch."
I nodded, and he turned it on.
D.N.A Sample taken, beginning connection, and bonding process.
Process complete.
"Hello Sidnie, I am your A.I Dungeon Core, I require a name, will you give me one?"
the sample had hurt a little, but I was to excited. "Leo!" I yelled at it without thinking remembering Daddy loved Lions.
Name accepted, I am Leo. I look forward to growing with you, Sidnie. I am pre-programmed with a race. I will now display the starting Race name, and the possible beginning creature of the race to begin with.
Demon: Starting Species
Imp - A small mischievous creature that likes to tinker and build, among the weakest of the Demon species, these creatures breed quickly, and have high evolutionary potential do to being able to unlock all Evolutionary paths.
Dark Wisp - An ethereal creature with no substance, it breeds through killing and absorbing the life essence of living things, and splitting, not unlike a slime. This will allow one set Evolutionary path
Husk - The deformed soul of one trapped in the nether realm that is weak, and breeds at an average rate. It's Evolutionary path leads to higher ranked Demons through the gain of power.
I looked at Daddy shocked. I had seen commercials about the Demon Race. It was meant to be a top tier Race that only were available through Master Tournaments, and even then were very hard to come by.
"That's right Baby, you get the first Race, and it's a bit special. The Imps are one I added, in case you wanted to take the longer route, but gain the most. Choose carefully, Sweetheart, you can unlock them all later, but it costs a lot."
I scrunched my face up a bit, and he laughed softly, before patting my head. "You can not leave the house for several years, by then I have no doubt you will have gathered a lot of points and at least been able to unlock a few evolution's, and species within the Race."
He got up after kissing my forehead, and went to Mommy, calling out softly as he went. "Don't stay up much later, finish the set up, then to bed, ok?"
"Okay!"
I looked at the options, again. "Which should I choose?"
I would recommend the Imps, they are weak, but breed quickly enough that we can use them to gather Points by several methods.
I blinked a moment, A.I cores were not supposed to be able to do that this early. But Daddy said it was a special one for me. Still a Starter, but maybe he gave it the ability to do this early so I would feel less alone?
"Imp then." I said smiling, and then I saw the world form on my table.
It was a bright world full of life, and small animals, greenery and streams. Aside from where the first ten Imps formed. There, it was a small rocky crag, and looked like there were red lines running through the rocks.
I looked at the little Imps, they were actually kind of cute, in an odd way. Small black and red bodies, no taller than a foot, in their world, with little bat like wings, and a whip tail with a pointed end. They had two little bud horns on them as well.
You have chosen the starting species for your Race, Imps will now begin to build their village, and breed. The current Restrictions of my system will cap the Imps at 100 until I gain enough points to purchase the upgrades required for a higher population limit.
I grinned, and touched one of the trees Leo had created, it felt real, of course that was only because of my connection to him. But it was nice. I could 'feel' a tree again.
I was to excited to sleep, but my body was losing the war. After about thirty minutes of watching my Imps gather rocks, and begin digging holes for their burrows while I laid in bed, at the foot of it, I passed out. Whispering goodnight to Leo.
Goodnight, Sidnie
I hope you enjoy this, I have seen countless Dungeon FF's and I wanted to try my own. This one is gonna be fun, I decided to turn it into a unique game based system. Don;t think I've seen one like what I have in mind on here. Honestly Inspired by the Mystery of the Dungeon FF, though it was sadly discontinued. But I hope you enjoy this FF. The first part will actually consist of 5 years haha. I'ma enjoy this.
Much love and cookies all.

Braindead - A Zombie LitRPG
In a world where zombies are trash mobs that children kill for easy exp, what hope does one little zed have? Zed was minding his own business when his master's domain was invaded by a plucky young heroine looking to make a name for herself. An unlikely turn of events allowed Zed to come out on top, and gave him enough experience to rise above the life of a mindless minion. Unfortunately, it also left him with no body to share it with... literally, not figuratively! This story contains: Some 'jokes' containing questionable humour. An inhuman MC who has no interest in pesky things like romance or growing a conscience. Blue boxes, and a DnD style system messily mashed together with several other systems. Gore, but nothing too gratuitous. The main character is a severed head so what do you expect? Kingdom/base building, because what good is a zombie without a good horde behind them. Releases planned for each Sunday until I build up a decent backlog.

The Yes-Mage
Plenty of people have stopped and asked what it'd be like to simply have everything, and Sylvain Henry Camille Johansson was no different. He was a man who had a lot of things going on, with a name that'd make a supervillain blush and a family who'd make even the useless of their rank into someone important. It was a shame, then, that he was slapped with a dreadfully unfortunate condition that kept him from living up to any of those already low expectations. Stuck living a life where magic is everywhere while he's left working with nothing more than a moderate intellect, a little bit of whatever influence he could get from his family, and a lifetime's practice at making himself the ideal subordinate for his bosses' boss, Vane was still beating the odds and slowly working his way up in the world. When the cunning yes-man finally got a chance to really make a name for himself, he leapt at the offer, taking his first real step onto a road he knew he was always meant to walk. His goal? Nothing less than finding out why he and too many other unfortunate souls are barred from the wonderful world of the higher energies, and with any luck, fixing it. Of course, life has a knack for interfering in even the humblest of plans, and Vane's lofty ideals were anything but humble; he was practically a walking bullseye for disaster. The funny thing about catastrophe, though, is that nobody can ever say what form it's going to take. That’s why, when it all went wrong for Vane, he'd gotten everything he'd ever wanted foisted onto him, and Everything else, too. Watch as a man so used to saying 'yes' to everyone above him finds himself stuck with the power to make reality itself say it back.

A Nerd's Wet Dream Come True (Tossing an OC into Marvel)
John was an average man. At least that's what he tells himself at night. He lived in a rented apartment in the decent district, a well-paying job, and more student debt than he cared to think about being steadily paid off. Yet he was absolutely miserable. He spent his days living like a zombie, a slave in all but name to corporate. His only joy these days it seems was reading comics and writing fanfics. SI ones. Choke full of power fantasies and large harems. Yeah, even he had to admit he was a loser. His only redeeming feature seemed to be his photographic memory and the library's worth of comics and books he has read. Yet, when fate took pity on him and had John transported into the Marvel Universe, he was only all too happy to oblige. A second chance to make something of himself. Is he going to finally have the comfortable life he wanted? Will he laze away relying on his past life's knowledge or does he want more this time? Will his ambition and hard work lead to sweet fruits, or will it rot away in the darkness hiding beneath the colorful costumes of the hero's society? Now with crossovers! Be warned if you don't like to see OCs messing up the timeline or DC and other stuff showing up. I swear I'm not randomly adding stuff and there is a legitimate (as far as comic books and fanfics can be) plot reason why. (I'll be honest, I don't know "cannon" marvel really... I watched some movies and animated series as a kid, but I haven't picked up a comic in years. This is just some light-hearted and casual writing for fun. If there are any errors or something you think would be cool please let me know.) I'm also trying to have multiple main characters so that might be jarring for some people while I switch perspective. Sorry in advance, I'm new at this and idk what I'm doing, advice and feedback gladly welcomed!
