《Dan's Shoppe of Oddities》Chapter 8: A question about size...

Damn this was nerve wracking.

Even college finals weren't this bad.

And he wasn't even the one making the decision…

Amani was holding up all kinds of bras for him to see, some polka dotted, some plain colors even a few that were more in the lingerie category. And she wanted his opinion on each and every one.

“Doesn't matter, just pick some.” he said in exasperation. They had been here for almost an hour now, and they had only done underwear and had not even finished picking out bras let alone any of the rest of her clothes.

“Sorry,” she smiled sweetly, and picked four of them, all of which were ranging from many different sizes and shapes.

“What are you doing?” he asked looking at her.

“What do you mean?”

“Well, if I am not mistaken, those two are F cup bras, and that one is a C and that one is an A.” she looked at him confused, and back at the bras, “Meaning they are all different sizes, shouldn't you get the ones that fit you?” he explained.

“Oh! That's not an issue!” she laughed.

“It's not?” he asked, he had a bad feeling about this.

“Nope, I can always change them,” she clapped her hands and, much to his surprise it was not the bras that changed size, but rather her bust. She laughed at his awestruck face, “You like ‘em big or small?” she asked with a flirty voice as she leaned forward and emphasized her breasts with an arm.

He stared intently at her breasts which were at this point sitting near the F cup range. In all honesty they looked ridiculous on her small frame.

“Honestly speaking?” he asked looking at her, or rather her chest. “I like them any size” he nodded to himself. “It's more about shape and firmness...” she looked at him, lost in his own little world and sighed in disatisfaction, he hadn't really answered her question.”Though, the pair you are currently sporting looks more comical than it does sexy...”

She frowned at the little quip he had tacked on there at the end. This was a lot harder than she thought it would be, she could simply make him do anything she wanted through magic, but where was the fun in that?

There was no fun if there was no hunt.

It didn't take long after that to pick out some clothes for her, for some reason the genie was more concerned about looking cute in her undergarments than she was in her actual clothes. Not that she didn't look good in them. Honestly she was the type of girl that would look good in a pair of baggy sweats and anything else thrown her way.

After another hour or so of shopping they had all her clothes and the food for the two of them. Dan looked at the cart and sighed, it was practically full of items, not to mention the cost of clothes nearing the realm of ridiculousness. He readied himself to be on the broke side of things for a long time to come.

Pulling out his wallet he counted his money he had in there.

$400, and he prayed to all the known and unknown gods that it was enough for all this.

“What is that?” Amani looked at the money in his hands.

“Money, its how we will pay for the stuff.” she reached forward and grabbed one of the bills out of his hand and started to turn it over. And much to Dan’s surprise she clapped her hands and It duplicated itself.

“There, now we have more!” she smiled at him, as schemes started dancing through his head. It was tough, but he got rid of those thoughts with a shake of his head. Grabbing the duplicated twenty out of her hand he ripped it up.

Amani’s eyes went wide, and started to get moist as tears started to form. “What? You didn't like it?” she asked with a sniff in her voice, the prelude to crying.

“No, it's not that I didn't like it, it was more to stop myself from using it.” he sighed. “I appreciate the gesture, I however don't want to rely on something like that.” he looked at her.

“Why not?” she asked, her voice still husky with unshed tears.

“If I was to simply have you make money I would not feel the need to earn it, it would make me lazy, and there is a saying : Idle hands are the tools of the devil.” he looked over at her. “When you have everything you want at the tip of your finger you start dabbling in immoral things, you get into trouble, when you have to work for things they have a meaning, a purpose.”

“Kind of like the items in our shop, they all have a meaning to them?”

“Yeah, like that.” he nodded. “You could also call it my pride, I don't like being handed anything, if I can't earn it on my own then I don't deserve it.” he smiled at her, “So please don't tempt poor mortal me.” he laughed.

She smiled and wiped away a stray tear from her eyes, she was glad it wasn't because he didn't like her idea, but rather a sense of pride that refused to allow him to take the easy way, after so many masters that had simply wished for the easy way it was refreshing to see someone forge their own path.
