Adrius looked around him, but he saw a different room from the one from the memory he got.

‘ Where am I?’

He saw a one person size wooden bed and a reading table, the room was small. But it had everything the person needed from a bed to a bathroom.

‘Shit the memories aren't complete, my luck is just so good isn’t it?’ Adrius has two problems now first the poison that is still inside his body, when he vomited earlier he vomited out the poison that was still in his stomach but there is still some poison in his blood system, not lethal but still troublesome because it will make him weaker. And the person who has poisoned him will take that chance to kill him.

Second is that his memories aren’t complete so he has disadvantage on his opponents.

“First I have to know where I am? Then I will take action about the killing attempt”.

Suddenly there was knocking on the door, “ Adrius are you there?” There was a sound of a girl behind the door.

‘Shit what should I do now?’

After thinking for a time he decided, he got up and opened the door. When he opened the door he was met with a girl around his age, she had blonde hair and a cute face with a milky skin. When Adrius saw her memories rushed into his head. Her name was Elena Erikson she is also a nobel born and they met at the potential test. They both had a crush on each other. But Elena had a “Stalker” . His name was Bevis Flamestone, he is extremely arrogant because his family has a higher status than Adrius. He hated Adrius to the bone because of his relationship with Elena.

‘Wtf that was unexpected, so this is where I am, I have potential to become a magus so we are traveling to the selection site so one of the academies will select us’. ‘Hmmm it seems that we are traveling by air’.

‘So this Bevis is the most likely person who's tried to kill me, and it’s all because of this bitch’ Adrius was angry because the former Adrius had no logic at all, if someone stronger than you has interest in something then don’t take it unless you have a plan.

“What is it you want Elena?” Asked adrius with a tone that say’s: Fuck off now it is not your time.

“ Nothing, I just wanted to make sure you are okay? Because Bevis came to my room and said that I will not see you again . ''Do you know why he said such a thing?” Asked Elena with a shaking voice.

“ No not a clue, and thanks for letting me know about it. Do you want to come in and have a cup of wine with me?” Said Adrius with a face full of gratitude but inside he was smiling wickedly.

‘Because of you I’m poisoned now so I think you won’t mind some poison in you ha? Ahahahah’

“Yes for sure!” Answered Elena with a shy expression.

She came in and sat on his bed, then Adrius handed her a glass of red wine and took one for himself too. Elena took a sip of the wine and started talking about her feelings when Bevis came to her.

“Why aren't you drinking Adrius?” asked Elena

“ Oh I forgot, I was interested in your story so much”

He lifted his glass so he could drink but in his head he was counting ‘ 10, 9,8,7,6,5’ Then he said

“ Elena, do you know something? I think Bevis had something right in his words”. He had a wicked smile when he said it.

“Wh…..” Seeing that Elena tried to say something but before she could finish it, her hands lost its power and she dropped the glass on the floor. She watched Adrius watching her with an evil grin on his face, then her vision turned black and she dropped dead on the bed.

Adrius watched the whole thing unmoved, he has watched people die before. His profession was toxicologists so he had to test his toxins on other humans to see its effects. But actually Elena was the youngest person he killed so it was a new experience for him.

‘ Okey I have to be convincing now’

“ AHHHHHH HELP HELP, SOMEONE HELP US!!!” Screamed Adrius in terror.

The door of the room opened and there was a man in yellow magus robe standing there with a calm expression. He looked around the room and saw Elena on the bed unmoving and Adrius on the floor coughing.

“ What happened here boy?” Asked the magus in a calm manner.

“ “cough” Sir we were talking and drinking wine when suddenly Elena dropped dead and I lost all the power in my body “cough” “ Answered Adrius in a sickly manner.

“Poison, hmmm no problem you will be fine” Said the magus in a neutral tone.

Meanwhile a lot of people had gathered in front of the room, and the whispers started to get higher. Adrius catched the name Bevis in there.

The magus came to Adrius and gave him a purple liquid, Adrius couldn’t move his body so the magus made him drink it.

After 3 minutes

Adrius was standing with full health, and an expressionless face. Then the magus spoke “ Where did you get this bottle of wine?”

“Elena brought it sir, she said it was given to her by a guy named Bevis Flamestone as a gift” Answered Adrius with a sad tone.

When the crowd heard that whispers started to go insane, but a voice cut them.

“What did you just say you asslicker!?” screamed a boy with red hair and chubby body, it was Bevis Flamestone.

“You heard me you pig you’ve killed her and tried to kill me, because she loved me and not you” Answered Adrius with the same sad tone.

“YOU… you” Bevis was boiling with anger but before he could finish a voice cut him off. “Enough!” Said the magus with his neutral voice but this time it was louder.

“ Bevis Flamestone you broke the first rule of this journey, and have killed someone and injured another, so by that I deem you unworthy of being in this journey” Saying that the magus clicked his finger and Bevis started to burn, after 1 minute the shouting stopped and silence controlled the area.

‘ Awesome so this is the power of the magus, hehehe I will definitely become one and no one will stand in my way’ Thought Adrius to himself.

When the magus disappeared with the body of Elena the hidden pressure that was on Adrius was gone, and he let an evil smile slip for a second before he got back to his poker face again. But this didn’t escape some people.

‘Genius, he used the situation to his benefit and won without having to pay anything, I have to be careful with this man’ That idea came to several people who saw the smile on Adrius face.

When Adrius closed the door to his room he saw a shadow in the corner of his room, he was scared because the shadow belonged to the supervising magus who just left.

“ How did you come in here?” Asked Adrius with a terrified voice.

‘ Shit did he discover me?’

“ Do you really think that being a magus makes you cast just magic?”

“ Oh so can I know why are you here Sir?”

“ I knew about your plan, don’t look at me with that shocked expression every adult could’ve seen, so how could you think that 200 years old magus can’t?”

“ So why didn’t you kill me for breaking the rules?”

“ Because I liked your way of thinking, and I don’t want that way of thinking to vanish because of a fat pig and a useless bitch”.

“But listen, this is the first time and the last time I save you in, so don’t kill anyone anymore until we reach the selection site” Saying that the magus vanished from the room leaving Adrius thinking alone.

‘ That went surprisingly well, now we have three months until we reach the selection site so I should train’ Adrius went into his bag and found a book named “ Caseo family knight technique” ‘ Ok I can train with this until I have a meditation technique, at least it will make my body stronger so less chance of dying’.

“ In these three months I should keep a low key profile so I won’t get the unwanted eyes.” Then he sat on his bed and started to meditate according to the instructions. ‘ Hmmm I can already my body becoming stronger, I wonder what effect the magus technique will have as an effect”.

Like this 3 months passed, Adrius didn’t talk to anyone he was just training in the training room and meditating in his room, some people tried to pick a fight with Adrius but he just ignored them so he won’t get any unnecessary attention.

“Attention everyone we will be landing soon so be ready for leaving the ship”

Said the captain.

In these three months Adrius discovered that the thing that was caring them isn’t a plane or something like that but a flying ship.

The ship landed and everyone got down from the ship including Adrius, when he got down he saw a field full with tents and in front of the tents there were signs that said the name of the academy.

‘The magus world here I come’ Thought Adrius in excitement.
