Standing in front of fray who couldn't move his leg, commander Derrick pointed his dagger at him as he said.

"I would like to get some information from you before you breathe your last but I know it will get me nowhere but still, who hired you".

"Don't even think about it, if you want to know who it was that much then go investigate" reply fray as he spat in front of commander Derrick in disgust.

"Since you don't want to talk, then I guess we'll just have to wipe the straw bandit from its root then," said commander Derrick with a smile on his face.

"Go ahead then if you think you can get rid of all our members" chuckled fray.

"Since it is useless talking to you, be on your way then," said commander Derrick as he just disappeared and appear behind fray before stabbing him directly on the heart.

Looking at the cold body of fray laying there, commander Derrick couldn't help but kick the body aside as he mutters to himself.

"You couldn't even let out a little information".

Keeping his dagger back into his boot, commander Derrick turned to where they were hiding and yelled for them to come out.

"Hey, do you think it is safe for us to come out and meet this freak," asked Ray.

"Don't worry he's back to the way he was" replied Ellis as he came out of hiding and walked forward to meet him and seeing Ellis taking the lead, Ray, and Jenny also follow suit.

"Commander Derrick, I never knew you were this strong, it's good to have you on our side," said Ray with a smile on his face as they got to where he was standing.

"It's just so annoying that I was not able to get the information I need out of him before he died" reply commander Derrick with a sigh.

"You don't have to worry yourself for not being able to get any information from him since we already know who is behind it," said Ellis.

"You mean you already know who was behind it," asked commander Derrick as he was shocked by the news.

"Yes, I already knew who was behind it all before coming back to the clan" reply Ellis with a smile on his face.

"Since you already know who is trying to take your life, then why didn't you inform your father," asked commander Derrick.

"That's because I don't want him to get involved" reply Ellis.

"Those the suspect happened to be one of your brothers" asked commander, Derrick.

Ellis just smiles as a reply to commander Derrick's question. Taking a deep breath after knowing what he needed to know, commander Derrick said.

"There is no way clan head is going to kill his son even though what he did was very wrong and should be sentenced to death, I guess it is right for you to keep it away from him otherwise he will feel bad for the treatment"

While Ellis and commander Derrick were having their conversation, Ray was busy searching him for treasures and it didn't take long before the rest of the group also noticed his actions.

"Eh, what are you doing" asked Ellis.

"What else if not to search his body for any valuable items. You know he is a killer and it would be a huge shame if he were not to have anything of value to him" replies Ray not even slowing down one bit.

"You know that is my kill right" asked commander Derrick.

"Yes and so, ain't you a big figure who can have whatever he desires" reply Ray as he continues to search the body.

"You know what, just forget it I can't bother myself with the likes of you," said commander Derrick as he left them to get his sword.

Ray continues searching for treasure for some time and was able to find pills that are useful to cultivators in the golden core realm, some spirit herbs, and a lot of spirit stones that are stored in a hidden storage ring. Passing the spirit herbs and pills to both Ellis and Jenny as he decided to keep the spirit stones for himself.

"I will be taking this also," said Ray with a chuckle as he picked fray sword from the ground.

"You can also keep the blade since I have one here with me and Ellis don't have any use for it" replied Jenny.

"Alright now that everything is settled, let's get rid of the body," said Ellis.

"You can leave that to me" reply commander Derrick as he walks forward to get the body but before he could pick it up Ray suddenly interrupted him.

"What do you think you are doing" asked commander Derrick.

"Instead of getting rid of the body, why don't we send your brother a present" replies Ray with a wide smile on his face.

"What do you have in mind," asked Ellis who seen tempted by his word.

"Haha, let send him his head. Commander do you have any spare bag with you" said Ray with a smile.

"Here you go" reply commander Derrick as he passed Ray the bag.

Holding fray blade in his hand, Ray chops off his hand before keeping it inside the bag and then tossing it to commander Derrick.

"Now let's see how he is going to react when he discovered what's inside the bag," said Ray as he begins to chuckle.

"I don't want to get you in trouble, so it would be wise if you disguise before sending it to clan saying it's for the second clan master" commented Jenny as she passed him a mask.

"Hey what are you doing, how are we supposed to continue the quest without the masked," asked Ray when he saw her handling it to commander Derrick.

"Don't worry, I made an extra" reply Jenny with a smile.

Hearing this, Ray let out a sigh before turning to look at commander Derrick and asked.

"Do you know how to use it"?

"It shouldn't be that difficult" reply commander Derrick as he put it on his face and begin to make some touches here and there until he was finally done with the adjustment. Now looking at Ray was an old man with a strong built.

"Shit, how come you know the process," asked Ray in shock since he can't do it on his own.

"Just imagining what I want it to look like is more than enough for me, so how do I look" reply commander Derrick.

"Kind of old but I think your body will sell you out," said Ellis.

"Not the worry, I have something here to cover up for the error" reply Jenny as she took out a robe from her storage ring before passing to commander Derrick.

Putting on the robe as it covers his strong arms and legs, derrick went back to the clan with the bag since he has already dealt with the problem, he believes they should be able to hold their ground.

"How wish I could be there when your brother opens the bag," said Ray with a sigh.

"At least now you know he will have to think twice before sending an assassin after you" commented Jenny.

"I doubt it, since I can deal with this he will have to send high rankers assassin after me next" replied Ellis.

"Then we'll deal with it when the time comes," said Ray.

Meanwhile back at the Gibson clan entrance, commander Derrick stood as a guard was attending to him.

"You are saying this bag should be given to our clan the second master," asked the guard as he took the bag from him.

"Exactly" reply commander Derrick.

"And what are you called old man," asked the guard.

"My name is of no importance, just give him the bag and he will understand" reply commander Derrick before taking his leave.

The guard took the bag to wyatt courtyard where he handed the bag to Brodie who was drinking outside before going back to his post. When he received the bag, Brodie was excited since it could only mean that Ellis is dead as fray told them he would be sending the head as proof of completing his job, and as for the old geezer the guard was talking about, to him the old man was fray who disguise himself so that he won't be suspected of killing Ellis if the matter was to get exposed.

Now making his way into Wyatt's resting room, Brodie inform him of the good news and was instructed to wait in his sitting room where Wyatt came dressed in his night wears.

"I am sorry for disturbing your sleep young master," said Brodie with a bow.

"Where is the bag," asked Wyatt as he waved his hand showing that it doesn't matter.

"Here it is master, he did as he promised" reply Brodie as he brought out the bag and passed it to Wyatt.

Wyatt had a smile on his face as he opened the bag and the next minute he had a frown on his face.

"What is the matter young clan master," asked Brodie when he saw the look on Wyatt's face.
