Rebirth Of The Queen Chapter 13

Seeing the little girl who had fallen in pain, Huang Bao immediately reached into the dull little bag that was hanging on his waist, took out a small bottle, and immediately gave it to Clara.
"Take this! Maybe this pill can ease your pain."
Hearing that, Clara, who was still holding her throbbing pain in the head, grabbed the bottle without any hesitation.
Slowly opening the lid of the bottle, at that moment the distinctive aroma of Chamomile flowers mixed with several other herbs entered the smell, it was very soothing. Clara swallowed the pill without hesitation because from the smell alone, she could tell that it was harmless.
She remembers clearly when she was still in the organization. Apart from carrying out special missions, Clara is also an active member of her organization's research laboratory.
When Clara was not on a mission, the girl was struggling with various kinds of potions, experimenting with inanimate objects until living humans were the objects of her experiment, and all of that was normal for her. Until the time she received the title Queen of poison because she succeeded in creating a deadly poison which later became the cause of her death. Yes ... The poison that Clara swallowed was her creation.
Isn't that funny? But, all the hurt because of the betrayal that she experienced before will not happen again, now she is in this world, with a different body, and with a different status.
Huang Bao saw the little girl in front of him who seemed to be thinking about something, the old man then asked quietly.
"Little girl, how are you? Are you still sick?" he said, trying to help Clara to her feet.
"Thank you, sir, although the pain has only decreased a little, it has helped me tremendously," Clara said gratefully, returning the small bottle with the rest of the pills she had used earlier.

Staring at the bottle he gave to the little girl who had regained her balance, it immediately made Huang Bao think of something and managed to make his eyes sparkle.
"Little girl, maybe I could just take you with me, but not now, maybe tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, I need to prepare some things for you, and I also need that potion, a potion that can disguise the scent of all beings including the scent of humans in your body, I'm not bringing it now," said Huang Bao feeling very happy." But, you have to promise. After all the conditions are met, you will answer my question about the incident last night, you remind this agreement?" He added again, wanting to be sure.
"All right," Clara said firmly.
"I have a hut in the north of this forest, although I have never lived there it is enough to protect you at night, it is not far from here, you can wait for me there until I come to pick you up," said Huang Bao, pointing to the location of the hut.
"Thank you in advance, sir," said Clara, bowing her head, saluting. She had to be as polite as possible with the old man because he wanted to help her, even though in the end she didn't know what kind of answer the old man who called himself Huang Bao wanted.
"It's almost evening now, it looks like it would be better if I go immediately," said Huang Bao again, then slowly turned around.
"Remember, take care of yourself! Don't hang around in this forest, just stay in that hut until I pick you up this forest is very dangerous, especially at night," added Huang Bao again, starting to move and disappear into the depths of the forest.

Watching the old man leave, Clara sighed.
"Maybe this will be a new beginning for her," she thought.
Since earlier, Clara had felt her whole body sticky with sweat mixed with bloodstains, she had to clean herself up.
Even if she was still wearing the same clothes, at least by cleaning her body, then the uncomfortable feeling that was bothering her would be a little less.
After cleaning her body, Clara stepped into the hut the old man had referred to. With the ability of her eyes, finding the hut was not difficult for her.

Galactic Internet: System Initializing Book 1
The Galactic Internet is a system takeover LitRPG with two MC's. It's gritty and dark at times, so I'd like to start with a brief warning. The story was made for adults, and as such contains some cursing, potentially traumatizing violence, gore, indentured servitudes. There is no sexually explicit material in the first book. However, there is nudity and sexual interactions aren't out of the scope of possibilities for later in the story. The first book is almost exclusively trying to figure out how the game works and trying to stay alive. It is a very open system that I've implemented. Expect to see anything from androids and aliens, to goblins and trolls.
8 169A World With or Without Aliens
Nothing matters. It's not my opinion, it's a scientific fact. This is neither good nor bad, it just... is. I watched my entire country burn, fried on a patriotic pan after some jerk fired a bunch of nukes at the docile fleet of alien ships hovering over us. Who gave this moron such power? I don't know. Everyone involved is most likely dead by now. As for me, I can't die. I feel pain like a normal person would (I think), but no matter how terrible the conditions, I will never die or pass out. Fortunately, a lot of alien technology survived its crash to Earth, so I get to spend some time playing with it until Mr. Author gets bored and decides to screw up my life. Beware, this has a "harem" tag. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm the main character and am therefore subject to this novel's timeline. While this bars me from the sweet ignorance of Chapter 1's me, it does have other perks... for example, I can tell you that heroine number one is personally responsible for kil-!? H-hey, back off! I'm your character, so if you didn't want me to be like this, then you should've written me differently! Randomguy here! In all seriousness, this novel is meant to explore the concept of nihilism as a post-apocalyptic/supernatural-scifi/satire told from a nihilistic introvert's first-person perspective. As you heard from my unsettled main character, each heroine is going to be a different type of horrifying socio/psychopath with dark motives and dangerous abilities (most of which are psychological). Why would I do something like this? Because I am, in reality, a nihilist who is often frustrated by weird things, like unrealistically dramatic stories, the industrialization of art (specifically music), and people who think swimming in brown creekwater for five hours is a "fun" activity. Don't get me wrong, neither me nor my character are depressed, we're just malcontents who make a lot of nerd references. I feel like the true essence of an "everything is worthless" perspective is lost on most pop-culture figures. The closest character I can think of at the moment is Rick from Rick and Morty, who is a drunk, angry nihilist that experienced tremendous loss. I, personally, find this belligerent state of mind to be very relatable, and have incorperated it into every chapter's introduction. Here, the main character talks directly to the reader (and me), shamelessly complaining about some semi-relevant facet of society, which probably doesn't make much sense... it's not really supposed to, though. These "angry nihilist" moments are just a peak into the main character's everyday existence, and also act as miniature rage-journals for me. It will sometimes take a subjectively 'positive' turn, but not very often. This is because reality isn't good or bad, "it just... is". I will eventually bring it full-circle to optimistic nihilism, since that seems to be a more practical way to live (and by "practical", I mean "doesn't create mental health issues"). It is, of course, a satire. I did this because most unnecessarily emotional moments or people usually make me feel kind of awkward, so I decided to mock them. That is, I plan to mock the characteristics about them I don't like in characters based solely off said characteristics. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my story!

8 66The Shattered Circle
Aleyr Frostborn has survived a hundred prophecies of her defeat, breaking each one by slaying the champions of light sent to kill her. Amongst the forces of good, her very name is a curse, and with good reason. Beyond her own evil, it is said that so long as she lives, the reign of the Godslayer himself will last: the lich king who the terrified masses call the King in Black. While the kingdoms and empires that surround the blighted lands of the undead lands struggle to survive and beat back the tide of evil, the machinations of the Eternal Kingdom's dark court barely contain the bitter struggles for power between the forces that have made it what it is. With one foretold hero brutally snuffed out, another will inevitably arise. For Aleyr, the cycle only further embitters her towards the gods of good and all those who serve them. But the truth is that her downfall might be something much closer to home than their prophecies, those last dregs of mortality beating inside her own chest. With a thoughtless intersection between cruelty and mercy, she begins a chain of events that threatens to tear the Eternal Kingdom and her own loyalties into shreds. After all, many things can be broken, not just prophecies.
