Lana silently went to her manager's office without letting anyone know…

She knocked twice…

"Come in..." She quickly went in and bowed her head as soon as she saw ehr manager…

"Ah… Come on Lana... You know I don't like when you bow your head in front of me like this..."

The manager came forward and held her shoulders and said "It might be normal in your country but it seems weird to me"

Lana smiled awkwardly and said "Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity otherwise I would have lost the chance to have a proper job without any experience.."

"You shouldn't thank me… It was the person himself who told me to go easy and give you a room to breath.."

She said leaving Lana in confusion…

"Actually there was a woman from some influential family, did this...Some Royal family or something… but a man from her family called and said that It is not your fault but it's coz of your faith but since he doesn't want to let that person down so we don't need to fire you… Our President was told this by some prince or whatever from the royal family and all.."

Lana finally took a sigh of relief that she did not offend someone that big so she asked "Ohh… So do they see me? Or looked at my profile or something."

"Nope… You were the only one Larena Gracias in our company and you must know better, where and to whom you have offended.."

She said and processed all the documents and gave all her wages and money she had till now...

"Wish you a new and good life ahead... And for that we have decided to invite you to dinner.."

She stood up and hugged her….

"No… No Ma'am I am leaving for my hometown in the evening so I might not be able to see you… or anyone in the future" Lana quickly declined as she had to leave…

"What about Mr Victor then ? Did you discuss it with him?"

When Lana heard about him, she felt a little sad that she was leaving without saying goodbye to him as he had helped her a lot all these months…

"Miss… Mr Victor was my boss and we had only that relationship… I don't think it's necessary to tell him about my personal matters..And since I am leaving already… I don't think I am ever going to see him again"

Lana said to her manager with full confidence but who knows what the future is holding for you in it's box...

"As your wish Lana… You have worked really very hard all these years in our company… Hope you will have a bright future ahead in your future, wherever you go..."

Miss Manager said while hugging her and thought to herself 'Though I know you were a hardworking employee and have your own work ethics but Victor would have never left you alone ever… I am sorry, I feel happy that you are leaving here…'

She thought to herself and patted her back lightly…

"Thanks Ma'am… I promise to live my life happily and cheerfully..."

Lana hugged her back and replied to her kind gesture...

She knew that her manager was full of envy towards her just like others but she never exposed herself like others… But Lana could feel that sometimes…

After having done everything she went home, where she saw some people were waiting for her in front of her apartment...

As soon as she reached there they came to her and one by one everyone took their bills out and Lana started paying them…

But at last she was out of money so she said "I am sorry… Can you guys please wait here...I will come out soon after taking making from inside"

Lana said and went inside and saw that she had not much money left with her and she was not sure what to do…

She had enough money but not in cash and she had been delaying them for a long time till now but since they got the news about her leaving, they all flooded in front of her apartment and now it was getting hard for her to handle them…

All she could do right now was to go to them and pay them at their stores but that was not a good solution as she had to leave in a few hours from now..

She was still thinking about what to do, when her doorbell rang. Hearing the doorbell Lana quickly looked out through the binoculars of the door and found that now there were two more people standing for her…

One was the owner of the house and the other was the guy to whom she had sold her furniture...

"What are they doing here now? Those damn people…!! I was happy to get all the money but after calculating it they both cheated me...What… What if the owner came here to throw me out right now? It's

Still time before boarding the plane and it's really chilly outside to take them out.."

She said to herself and slowly opened the door to look out…

"Miss Lana… We are waiting for you for about 15 minutes… Are you really thinking about running right now?"

One of the store's workers said, who had been running to take money from her for about a month but today they were directly at her door without notice...

"Ahahaha... How… How...could I possibly run away from you guys… I was about to give you guys the money but you see I just ran out of money… what I have to do is… I just have to go to the nearest ATM and cash out the money from my card.."
