MISS LANA…!! SORRY…!!

She laughed awkwardly and said while waving her card in front of them and tried to walk a few steps to leave but one of them said "Wait… We have to come with you too… What if you ran away again..."

'Busted.. I am really busted… they won't believe me whatever I am going to tell them as I have already used all these excuses..' She said to herself and clenched her fists…

"Why are you guys being like this to a lady…?" Her landlord said out of nowhere, making her feel scared even more…

'Am I really going to die here… No…!! I can't… what about my kids then? I have to survive this…'

She thought to herself but before she could say anything, the guy to whom she had sold her furniture, came forward and said "Miss Lana…"

'Mi… Miss Lana… I was just Lana last night and now I'm miss Lana out of the blue…'

She said to herself in her mind and then turned to look at him..

"Ye… Yes Mr. Brooks what can I do for you…"

She said while hiding her panic and holding her tears back…

"What I was saying was… I had cheated a little money from you.. Your furniture was top class and I gave you only a little money…"

He said and took out an envelope on money from his pocket and handed it to her and said

" Please… Don't be harsh to me anymore… I have done nothing… I was just doing my business and it was truly not my fault that you got easily fooled by me…"

He said and quickly ran away from her as if he was saving his life from someone who was willing to kill her...

Lana took the envelope and looked at him running away and murmured " But I already knew… I wasn't fooled by him but I had to sell it as long as I was getting a price for it…"

She kept looking at the way he left until one of the store workers said "Lana… now you have nowhere to run… Pay us or we will just use our own way to make you pay…"

Only after hearing his stupid but harsh words Lana came to her senses and took out the money from the envelope and gave the people who were left in the long queue of her debt collectors…

Within 20 minutes all of her money which was given to her by the store manager…

Soon everyone was gone and she took a sigh of relief but as soon as she turned back, her landlord faced her while smiling weirdly with an envelope In his hands…

"My dear Miss Lana… Please accept the rest of the money… I Sawyer I won't ever do this again to anyone…"

Lana was confused when her landlord offered her money…

Because as much as she knew… She was the one who breached the contract so she got 30% less of the money she had paid to him…

She didn't think much about the furniture's store manager, as she was indeed being paid very less. But right now, it was really weird, even though the landlord treated her with mercy in terms of the others but she knew that he was not as kind as he was being right now.

"Mr. Ralph… I mean we already agreed when you said that I was leaving earlier than expected so I have to pay 50% of the money but still you were kind enough to offer me 20% more...But why are you giving me the rest of the money all of a sudden…"

She did not take the money immediately like she did with the other just now…

" I mean we already reached a mutual agreement right…? But now why?"

She asked, looking at him in confusion…

"Look Miss Lana… I know what I did was wrong… I shouldn't have taken advantage of your problems but since I love my life more than money, so I just want to give you your money back… And for the sake of our good cooperation for the last few months, I hope you won't make my life difficult.."

He said and stood up from his place and continued before Lana could say anything

"I give you a week to leave, until then just find a suitable place for yourself to leave… And since I won't be coming anymore until you leave, just put the same code as it was when you came in…"

He said and left without wanting to chat with her anymore…

Lana kept looking on the way he had just left without even blinking and she sat there once again zoning out…

Alex and Raina were in the room and they were told not to come out as long as they weren't called…

But Alex was dying to go to her mother and save her from all the evils but it was Raina,who was stopping him from going out at any cost…

"Enough Rain..Let me go and see mom… She must be shocked by now…"

He said and slowly walked out of the room followed by his little sister…

When they both came out in the living room, they found their dear mother zoning out in a crucial time like this…

"Oh… Dear…Mom is again zoning out… Did something really big happen to her?"

Raina said while running towards her mother…

"Slow down Rain… I guess everything is in control now… Let's not rush her… You know what happened last time when she was in so much stress…"

Alex said while holding her sister's shoulder and Raina quickly shook her head and said "No...No...No..No… We can't let this happen again… I wish her not to have any stress anymore…"

She hugged her brother and tears started rolling out of her eyes when she remembered the situation of her mother a few months ago…

"Hi…!! Stupid…!! Don't cry...I just remind you about that because I didn't want to make her agitate anymore…"

Alex said while pulling his sister out of his embrace and wiping his tears with his little soft hands...
