I finished the last one that attacked me I placed the sword in front of me then just turned a little and advanced the dog attacking me, raised his paw with his sharp claw out.

And when his attack was about to it me, I let my sword follow the dog leg making a huge scar appear making the dog growl of pain, but I didn't stop and continued to reach his belly using all the strength in my arm to slash his belly but the increase in energy make it difficult to pierce him.

I quickly stopped myself not wanting to lose time I kicked him making him fall then pierced his eyes before he could do something.

the fight was quick but this movement makes my body hurt I learned it from the short sword mastery but it required that I combine my energy in a precise part of my body while controlling the balance of my body.

and when we came out it was followed by an attack of Sarah, it seemed they were waiting for us to find a way out, themself was occupied to deal with one group.

This attack instead of hurt them was to stop them while we escape but since they were close enough to where it landed the ice wave froze them, we weren't safe but we just felt a shiver but we were still able to move.

Knowing that it was a good opportunity to finish this group easily I advanced them slashed the neck of one dog and forced myself to pierce another killing both of them in one go.

And Fred and john followed me finishing the four remaining quickly.

We looked at the other they were finishing their group too but I sensed danger coming that almost make me unable to breathe but I was able to at least push the two of them before I tried to roll to at least make the attack less powerful.

The two of them rolled when I pushed them and turned quickly to help me but I was still wounded I could felt something piercing my left shoulder continuing to my back.

blood started to flow I wanted to use my energy to stop the bleed but I couldn't use it, like if I was in a situation of life and death the energy in my body refused to listen to me and concentrate instead on all my vital point, I know that if it keeps going like this I won't last long, even more, when I turned to look at what attacked I saw the leader of those dogs with the remaining dog about nine of them but the energy around them it was stronger than those we just fight so they should be level three.

The leader that just attacked me not knowing how t is possible that he was so fast, I could see his mouth wide open showing his sharp teeth while he growled at me, his claw even pierced the ground a little.

" We can't deal with him now step back we will gather with the other "

Hearing me they nodded knowing that in our state it's a miracle that we were able to stand so long even after being surrounded.

he dodged them easily and when he was in front of the human that fled earlier a human with a shield blocked him stopping his attack he was surprised that he could withstand his attack, he had killed many opponents with his strength but this little human was able to stop him.

meanwhile, Edward who just blocked the leader attack got his shoulder dislocated and didn't have the time to fix it.

he greeted his teeth and changed the hand that was grabbing the shield while keeping an eye on the dog, but the dog seemed to be not caring about it and attacked claire and Philip who were protecting Sarah and Emily.

Claire noticed that the dog was coming toward them know that this time she was alone Philip was not counted I it at least in her plan, she wanted to try the innate skill she gets after upgrading her bloodline to stage one and when the dog was one meter from them a wave of energy came out of her body and concentrated like a sword but and entered the dog making it fall directly on the floor.

" No I won't faint because of this just a little more and I can kill it '

Just after using her talent, she felt a huge pain in her brain like if it will be torn apart but she endured it took her sword and pierced with all the strength she could use to kill the dog.

The dog, on the other hand, couldn't understand what was happening he was about to teach a lesson to those weak humans that deranged him earlier and now he was on the ground feeling a strong pain entering his brain then continued in all his body making him unable to move anymore and could only look how the human was about to kill him his eyes were filled with anger to know that even before he could show his mighty power he died just like that.

And just like that a strong evolved beast who was starting his journey died, not sure what really happened to him, and claire fall just after killing it, Philip quickly took her to the others.

everyone was surprised at what just happened but they didn't have time for this the last dog was coming and prepared themself but the last dog noticing their leader death two or three of them fled they were the weakest among those at level three, Chris could tell it since he could felt that their energy was weaker compared to the others but still enough to be a level three.

But still, the six left dogs didn't give up on killing their prey even after seeing their leader death instead it angered them more.

Sadly for them now Chris, john, and Fred were now ready to fight after Sarah healed them and with the others after a prolonged fight of thirties minute with both parties exhausted they were able to stand firm even if they were outnumbered but their prey worked together separating one by one, they then started to kill them.

At the end of the fight, everyone was exhausted and were almost about to fall but they gathered the last strength they had and came entered one of the building nears them they wanted to hack the body but right now they were too exhausted.

But Chris somehow felt a strong attraction toward the body of those level three and four evolved beast, he took the rest of the energy he had to quickly pierce their belly trying to find what attracted him so much, and in three of the level three dog he found something which looked like a jewel next to their heart pulsating with energy completely red.

When I found this I couldn't stop smiling, even more, when I searched for the leader he had the same jewel near his heart but with more energy and something special about it I couldn't figure it out, but it was at least good.

The others also saw that but didn't say anything and just started to walk to the building to have a good rest, they would have time to talk about it later.
