《History of the Orcs According to, The Beginning: Breath Of War》History of the Orcs - Battle for the Red Lands

In the path of the Orcish Warhordes that made their way down the mountain was the Redling Army. Numbering at around three hundred thousand spears and Commanded by Lord Diakar of Calordia (Calordia the beating heart of the Red Lands is the primary source of all grain.) The army standing fifty rows deep was an impressive sight to behold, with most warriors armed with leather jerkins or chain mail. Surrounded by ravines and a heavily fortified hilltop, the humans laid out pits filled with poisoned spears, stakes planted in ever widening semi- circles to block the Orcs passage forward, and lined the cliffs above with hundreds of experienced archers. This would be the Orcs first greatest challenge to taking the the Red lands.
Warlord Magrobark haven proven himself in the Conquest of Caldasher was given temporary command over all the WarHordes, which upset more than a few Warlords, who had hoped to make their fame. These voices however remained silent as many feared Magrobark's growing influence with Lord Sezrath. In any case the Warlord's plan was to funnel thousands of Goblins down the valley to break apart and weaken the enemies defenses. Before launching the WarHordes forward into two huge columns that would break the enemy on both flanks and envelope the enemy. To aid with this effort at the head of each column were assigned four thousand Berserkers to lead the charge.
At the crack of dawn the very next day the invasion began. Thousands upon thousands of Goblin slaves swept down the Mountains to crash into the enemy defenses. Arrows rained down, and casualties mounted ever higher and higher. Pits soon overflowed with their dead and much of exterior defenses had been stripped away. These attacks preceded through much of the day, with Goblin reinforcements gradually being sent down the Mountain to join their brethren in battle. It was only after around midday had passed that the WarHordes were unleashed upon the tiring enemy. Their footsteps shaking the ground as they charged, the two massive columns slammed home into the flanks of the Redling army, starting the real battle.

At first the Humans toughed by the harsh conditions of the Red Wasteland managed to slow down the heavy Orcish columns that pounded their flanks even with the Berserkers in the lead, when suddenly all the Orcs lost their minds. Attacking and killing everything in a fury breaking company after company of veteran spears, before falling to their knees to pull out their insides and ingest them.
This unique event that occurred during the battle for the Mountain Pass. Was most likely the result of the Orcs suffering from both the Yearning and Bloodlust, which meant thousands of Orcs would often lose themselves in the blood-haze of battle and find themselves devouring the flesh of their enemies. While many Orcish warriors were used to eating raw bloody meat the idea that they would black out from rage and find themselves ripping the flesh out of those they faced in battle terrified mny. Causing more than a few Orcs to kill themselves after the battle as they were unable to comprehend how low they had sunk. The majority however delighted in the act feeling a great sense of wonder come over them with each kill.
The humans having never faced creatures such as these monstrous Orcs with such abnormal strength tried to reinforce their flanks to hold back the Berserkers, but were immediately rebuffed. The Berserkers showing their true power carved wide bloody swathes of death wherever they went, opening a gap at the rear of the enemy army. With both of it's flanks compromised, Lord Diakar attempted to order a retreat, when Lighting struck down from the clear blue sky to blow holes in their ranks, which were quickly filled with half-mad Orcs. With no way out, the humans broke and scattered.

A man finds himself lost and far away from his home and this is his story. I know the description isn't much to go on but I'm going to leave it like that in hopes that people end up curious enough to give the story a read. Fair warning, this is my first time writing a novel and honestly would love some constructive criticism. leave a comment below the chapters if you find anything that should be corrected or if you have any questions. PS: I'm really into RPGs and the story is going to reflect that obsession.
