Chasing After My Wife Chapter 105

Diego chose Fiesta Resto, a family owned restaurant that offers seafood dishes. You can even choose to dine for unlimited meal sets.
It was a three storey restaurants and the VIPs were located on the third floor. Jillyanna salivate when she saw the big king crabs and lobsters placed on a platter.
"I want to eat these today." Jillyanna whispered to Travis, throwing glances on the seafoods.
Travis chuckled as he nod his head to her request. One of the waiters guided them to their reserved booth. It wasn't big but it could cater eight people per table. In their case, they only occupy five seats.
Travis didn't order unlimited meal sets for her but he ordered almost all the dishes they offered for her to try.
"I'm not suppose to eat a lot. That's too much." Jillyanna complained to him. If she wasn't pregnant, she would welcome such sumptuous meal. However, the doctor reminded her not to eat so much or the baby will grow big and she'll have a problem during delivery.
Travis rubbed her head gently. "Don't be silly. We'll help you with other dishes. You can try each of them if you like."
She beamed happily at him. "Okay. I will eat one for each dishes."
The waiter informed them of their waiting time which would take quarter an hour before leaving. Jillyanna took out Travis' phone which she kept inside her bag before coming out of the car.
"I want to have my own phone." she stated while scrolling down on her account's notifications. She turned to Travis and handed the phone back to him.
"Let's buy one tomorrow." he responded to her happily. "We'll buy a new camera for your videos as well."
"Right. I can practice tomorrow. I think it will be fun." She even held his hand while looking directly on his eyes. It was reflecting a happy image of her.

Wynwyn snapped at the two of them which made them turn to look at her. "Don't be so focus in your own little world. A lonely heart won't be able to take it."
It was a statement for Diego who was the only one without a partner since Cheska was still working.
"I didn't even bother you guys. Why do you have to rub my sore spots?" Diego complained without looking at them. He hated it when he was the only one who didn't have a partner at this moment.
Jillyanna giggled as she listened to him. He was sulking like a child at the end of the table.
"Oh by the way Travis, is it fine that we'll shop tomorrow while Wynwyn have a press conference? I'm a bit bothered by it." Jillyanna informed him since she found out that his friend will be cleaning his mess. It wasn't a good idea for her.
"Don't worry about it Jillyanna. My wife is an experienced PR. She can handle whatever is thrown at her." Zachary de Leon, Wynwyn's husband, stated when he saw her worry reflecting on her face.
He knew that a pregnant woman should not worry about anything. It will greatly affect the baby she's carrying.
"How about you ignore it? Let them think whatever they want. You don't have to work on it." Travis also stated. It didn't really matter to him. In any case, they knew what exactly their relationship is.
"I go with Travis." Jillyanna said with a sigh of relief. It was a good thing that he understood her.
"Then let it be Wyn. Don't worry about it. You should relax sometimes. See? They're going to have kids already and you don't have one yet." Diego echoed in agreement but he only received a glare from her.

"Don't mind me not having a baby. You should mind how you can marry your girlfriend whose father didn't like you." she stated back at him with a mocking smile.
Diego put his hands on his chest, clutching his clothes as if he was deeply hurt. "Don't be so honest, okay? You're hurting me."
"Whatever Dee. You should really think about it. I'm sure Mr. Suarez is flaring up now because of the rumors around Travis." Wynwyn commented with worry this time.
They've been friends since university days and she knew their relationship. She also knew the number of punches he got when Mr. Suarez found out his relationship with Cheska. That was why, Travis had to act like a couple but it was never mentioned to anyone that Travis was her boyfriend. Somehow, people just made their speculations and they did not correct it either.
The gloomy atmosphere didn't last long since their food arrived already. Their eyes lit up when they saw the different dishes being placed on the table, leaving no space at all.
"Just ring the bell if you want another servings of your unlimited meal sir." The waiter reminded Diego and Zachary before leaving with the trolley.
"Wow! Even though I've eaten seafoods multiple times, it still light up my mood whenever I have it on a dining table." Wynwyn commented with sparkling eyes. It wasn't any less from Jillyanna's. Seafood was really her happiness but she also didn't like spending her money recklessly because she was saving for her baby.
Now that Travis was treating them to a seafood, she wouldn't dare refuse. Her eyes were scanning on the dishes since she didn't know what to eat first.
While she was still dwelling on what food to eat, Travis already peeled several tiger shrimps and placed it on her plate.
"Don't worry about what you want to eat. Just eat the ones I put on your plate." Travis whispered and stole a kiss on her temple.
She wanted to argue with him for stealing another kiss but, when she saw the shrimps on her plate, she just swallowed her words and started eating.
'Crack! Crack!'
The sounds of shells cracking from the king crabs that Diego and Zachary ate echoed in the room.
"The meat is really sweet and juicy." Diego commented in delight as he chewed on a king crab's meat. Zachary nodded his head in agreement while placing some of the meat on Wynwyn's plate.
Jillyanna picked one of the shrimps and raised her fork towards Travis. "You need to eat as well." She tried acting nonchalant about it but her face still turned red from her shyness.

Ætla Verǫld
AV Online was just a flash in the pan—a harsh, experimental land which lost most of its players in mere weeks. Only the dedicated few remained, carving out their destinies in corners of the vast abandoned world. Lily Quinn wasn't one of them. With a career worth millions in the esports world, she didn't have time for a game like Avo—but when an exclusive beta test for the new version showed up on her doorstep, she couldn't say no… as much as she wanted to. Literally hooked into the simulation, Lily reluctantly entered a world beyond anything she'd ever dreamed of. Accompanied by seven other beta testers desperate to save their beloved game, Lily dives into a vibrant, beautiful world, where mystery and adventure waits around every corner. Despite her reservations, Lily finds a joyful escape in Avo, shattering her cold, hollow reality. It was just a game though… until the group discovered they couldn't log out. Trapped in a game with no rules, and surrounded by cutthroat players eager to kill for a quick windfall, Lily and her ragged band have no choice but to fight their way out, or die in a game that has turned all too real. Hi there! I'm setting off on yet another adventure, come join me :3 Unusually for me, there's only one perspective this time, and it's quite a bit more action-oriented than I usually write. Don't worry, though: everything's still as character-driven as always, and I never get tired of writing dialogue. Just to acknowledge it up front: this story is heavily inspired by EVE Online and the many stories generated by that world. However, since this is a fantasy setting, not sci-fi, don't expect any real parallels. Chapter publish rate for this one will be whenever I write them, as with Epilogue. I don't expect to move as fast here though, since it's not for NaNo. The plan is chapters somewhere in the 4k-5k range, and hopefully frequently. The Last Science takes priority as always though. Special thanks to Reaver and Ace Arriande for pushing me to get this going, and to all my fellow writers whom I've stolen from been inspired by. You're all wonderful people and I love you Quick reminder: Patrons get to read ahead of what's published! Also, try my other works: The Last Science — A Tale of Modern Magic Epilogue — A Post-Fantasy Psychodrama What are you still doing on the synopsis? Get to reading!
