***END OF NOTE***
Travis wanted to tease her again but seeing her trying her best to accommodate him, he gave up and just acted natural in front of her.
"Hn" he chewed on the food while she also ate on her own silently. "Thank you. It taste good." he stated after swallowing down the food. Even when he was chewing his hands were busy picking food for her.
He placed some scallops on her plate and she would also fed him when he didn't have anything on his mouth.
Diego smiled while watching them. He knew how hard it was for Travis to gain the trust of Jillyanna and she even tried fleeing away from him.
'Fleeing? Ruined her plan? Did I ruin her plan to escape from Travis? Is that the reason why she punched me?' Thinking about what happened, Diego choked on his food. He poured a glass of water and drank it immediately.
Jillyanna even gave him a tissue which he also received. "Are you okay?" she asked when she returned back to her seat.
"You are such a glutton which is why you choke on your food. No one will take it from you so you can slowly eat it." Wynwyn commented but she was still rubbing his back even though she was complaining.
Hearing her statement, Jillyanna grimaced from the word 'glutton'. What Diego ate wasn't even half of how much she can take. 'What would her comment be if she knew that her goddess YNA is also a glutton?'

Jillyanna smiled faintly at her own thought. Diego was still trying to calm his nerves while looking at her. When he finally calmed down, he stopped eating for a while.
"I found the reason why you gave me a punch earlier." he stated with mixed emotions. He didn't know if he should laugh or cry for what happened.
"I'm glad you finally realized." Jillyanna responded without looking at him since she was eyeing on a squid rings.
Diego sighed helpless as he picked up his spoon and fork again. "You are indeed a match, not by heaven but a match of evilness." he turned to Travis and complained. "How can you let your wife punch me? You should actually be thankful to me."
"Isn't that the reason why we are here?" Jillyanna reminded him before shoving a piece of squid ring in her mouth. She didn't forget to give Travis one of the squid rings as well.
"I can't believe this." Diego stated with another heavy sigh.
Jillyanna turned to Travis and spoke as if the person she was talking about wasn't there. "How did you even become friends with him? I honestly thought he's someone smart because you are smart. Now that I talked to him, I found him becoming dumber after time passed."
"Will you please think that I am still here?" Diego sulked because no one sided him. He started eating his food again and pressed the bell for another servings.
"Stop sulking already. It's not like you are dumb forever. I am sure Travis finds you smart." Jillyanna retorted, dissing Travis on the process.
"It's because of his intelligence that you are here. So Diego is smart." Travis responded with a smile. It was very obvious why she was including him. She was still upset over the fact that she wasn't able to escape.
Wynwyn raised her hand and tried stopping them. "Don't talk. Just don't talk about what happened. We are having a meal so we should enjoy our food."

Jillyanna made a gesture to zip her mouth and focused on eating. Travis didn't really care. Whatever makes her happy, he'll allow her to do it but he's still a grateful man so he won't allow her to punch Diego next time.
"What else do you want?" Travis asked even though there was still a pile of food on her plate. He was about to pick another dish when she stopped him.
"It's enough." she held his hand to stop him from getting another dish. "Let's just finish this."
From start to end, Travis didn't use his utensils to eat. Whatever Jillyanna ate, she would give him the second piece until they finished the food.
"I'll wash my hands for a while." he told her before standing up to go to the sink. They have their own washing area inside the room so they don't need to go out.
Jillyanna didn't really dirty her hands but she still wanted to wash them so she followed behind him.
"Did you enjoy your meal?" Travis asked when he saw her standing behind him.
"Yup. I'm so happy to eat this much. Thank you." she responded to him happily as she caressed her tummy.
Travis moved away from the sink so she could wash her hands but Jillyanna didn't expect him to take another action.
She just opened the tap when Travis caressed her stomach. "Baby, even if your mommy eats a lot, don't grow too big okay? Don't give mommy a hard time." he spoke softly as if talking loudly would disturb the baby.
Jillyanna stiffened her back and looked at him with a flustered face. "Don't do that."
"Why not? Isn't it suggested by many to communicate with your child even if he/she is still inside the stomach?" Travis asked innocently even though he knew why she didn't want him to do it.
Jillyanna opened her mouth but couldn't find anything to refute him. In the end, she just told him the truth. "I'm feeling a bit awkward and I am not used to it."
"Then, you should get used to this starting today. What if my child would think that I don't love him or her?"
"I can speak to our baby about it." she retorted still not agreeing to him.
"But it's different when it's the father who's speaking." Travis reasoned out which rendered her speechless for a moment.
"Fine. I'll try to get used to it. Just don't expect it to be so soon." she compromised to his request since it's the only way for her.
Travis smiled and pulled her close for a hug. "Thank you for trying. I know I am asking so much from you and I am grateful that you're trying to meet my requests."
Jillyanna hugged him back and leaned her head on his chest. "I've decided that we will be in this togeher. Just give me time, okay? Just let me get used to this arrangement that we have."
"Hn. I promised that I will wait for you." Travis kissed the top of her head while hugging her.
"Aiiyyoo! Look at you two! Can you separate for a while?" Diego commented with an envious expression. Even though he was not single, he was being fed with dog food because his girlfriend wasn't around.
'I'll definitely fight for Cheska this time. It's time to stop relying on Travis.' he noted to himself mentally before washing his hands.

Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.
