Jiang Lei stood there as he touched his face and muttered in his heart. That sounded impossible; he looked too much like his brother. 

Jiang Yao was bored at home and took a nap. Huang Cheng had called her as she was ready to fold the paper cranes. Cheng Jinyan was the one who begged Huang Cheng to apologize on his behalf.

It was not only because Cheng Jinyan kidnapped her. He had planned to burn the manor that his father had built for his mother, the same one given to Jiang Yao. She would inherit the land from him. 

"Jinyan said that every blade of grass and tree in the mansion contained his father's love for his mother. He had consented to give you the manor because he had kidnapped you and felt terrible about it. Perhaps it was also due to Old Master Liang's comments. Jinyan wanted to raze the manor. You have already issued a death warrant for Madam Cheng. Master Cheng and his son are out of luck."
