It was late in the evening when the two people reached the village.Xie Eun's trepidation had started to rise,the closer they got and she could almost feel herself hyperventilating. This was because she felt guilty. Guilty towards her father and towards Aunt Su.She knew in her heart that she had disappointed them.

Her father had left this world with the understanding that she would be well cared for by Aunt Su and Wolf.In the end she had forced away Aunt Su and now she was going to get rid of that other person also.She glanced down at the ring on her index finger that had been there for two years.What a tangled mess everything was. ​ ​

This ring,it was beautiful.But it did not matter how beautiful a cage was,it was still a cage. And she wanted to break out of the cage soon...

Yu Seok was right.She had indeed been cheating and was accountable to both Wolf and Si Jing.

Her heart ached for Si Jing though..He had been so patient with her through these trying years.She thought back to the last date they had.She could feel his desire for her and his hurt that she was not willing to trust him and give herself to him.Shamefully she had tried go explain that she felt shy and unsure. Though Si Jing said he understood her hesitance,she could see in his eyes that he did not believe her.Why did she move away whenever he tried to kiss her?Why could they hold hands and even hug but nothing more?The answer to this even she did not know how to give.

Last week when they had been watching the romance comedy,Si Jing had tried to kiss her and she had jumped like a cat on a hot tin roof.

But she had been unable to proceed and be intimate with him.It was all because of that Wolf!He had stolen her first kiss and then more but after her father died....She shuddered suddenly at the memory,causing Yu Seok to throw a sharp glance in her direction.

That evening,she had sat in her room,wondering if she should call Si Jing. She had known him since she was sixteen and had fallen for him head over heels. He had come from the city to recover from an injury and they had met in the market accidentally. His elegance and alluring smile had pulled her in and unable to stop herself she had sort him out again,until they started to meet by a nearby lake,everyday for a month. It was then that Si Jing's time to return had come. He was older than her and would be going to university soon so she could not even ask him to stay.But he had promised her that he would return during holidays and he had kept the promise.She had been over the moon..But soon their time to seperate had come again and this time,Xie Eun had been clear of her feelings unlike last time when she had only crushed at him.This time she knew she was in love..She had clicked a few of his pictures when he was unaware and kept them to remember him by. Once again he had promised to return..And once again he kept his promise but...this time everything had changed..she was married and her father was gone...

She had known that he also liked her the way she did. He had even indicated to her that he would officially ask her out when she turned eighteen.It was why she had planned to go to the city for her higher studies...But all her dreams had been forcefully taken away...

As for her so called husband,she had already told him that she wanted an annulment,and yet he insisted on being married to her..He had even threatened her after her father passed away..

As the car slowed to a stop, Xi Eun was brought out of her past musings.

She turned to look questioningly at Yu Seok who was already staring back at her."Why did you stop?"

"Do you think I am some kind of a stalker?(Author:Yes yes)

Xie Eun shook her head in confusion.Why ask a pointless question?

"Then how do you expect me to know the way to your home?"

"Oh.Umm you need to go straight...and then I will tell you the way.." She should have expected that!Butnhe could have just asked for directions instead of being sarcastic.Bad Yu Seok!Xie Ein would have scolded the man but before she could say anything more, her phone rang with a loud music indicating an incoming call..Xie Eun fished out her phone from her small waist purse and glanced at the phone...

From a sideways glance, Yu Seok noticed the name on the screen and his hands tightened on the wheel.

Unaware of all this, Xie Eun answered the phone with a sweet,"Hello Si Jing.How are you?"
