《Inexorable Chaos》Chapter 283 - 154 Gaw: Ragnarak

You have entered the Dungeon INAEQUO
I grin. As the dungeon rises beneath me, I feel its essence spread from its core, take root and lay claim to the surroundings like a starved hyena. I continue grinning as the essence spreads faster and faster, covering miles in all directions. I rise through the clouds and up into the clear moonlight. My ears pop before the tower finally stops rising.
I glance down at the most powerful creation to ever exist.
Babel Level 37561
Babel is an artificial dungeon created by Mimir for magical and biological experimentation. Like all dungeons, The tower absorbs ambient mana to power its functions.
I open my shadow again and retrieve another ring. I slip the unassuming, crystal green ring onto my finger. I stare at it a moment, then activate my [Mana Sight]. Immediately before my eyes, the ring bursts into a splendid tangle of vibrant mana with millions of connections converging toward Babel.

Hmm… I’m stuck on the roof and in five minutes, everything goes to shit.
“Activate Babel AI interface.”

Activating AI Interface… Babel Online.
The mana around me vibrates rapidly and condenses into a spectral humanoid of energy. The humanoid curtseys to me.
“All systems are online. How may I serve you Master Quasi Eludo?”
I crack my neck as I glance over the tower and towards the distant battle on the ground. I watch as combat slows and all the elementals turn towards the massive tower that is rapidly absorbing any and all mana within its domain.
“Babel. Connect me to the tower's mana supply.”
“Connecting user Quasi Eludo (Mimir#0001) to INAEQUO mana supply…
“Connection successful, Mr. Eludo.”
You are under the effect of [Mana Funnel].
Mana available: 456,211,856,489
Mana regeneration: Error: Cannot compute mana regeneration at this time. Regeneration exceeds system protocols. Repair suppression chains for accurate results.
I ignore the error message and instead focus on the absurd ocean of mana now under my complete control. I stroll to the edge of the tower and stare down at the battlefield below, and then chuckle.
I raise a hand up into the air. “[Resurgent Melody]”
Mana gushes forth, the sky thrums with power, my skin tingles in anticipation, and my bones shiver as though a thousand subwoofers just kicked on.
You are under the effect of the Unique Spell: [Boss Music- Finality]
While affected, all spells are [Extended], [Heightened], [Maximized], [Quickened], [Empowered], [Homing], [Distant], [Twinned], [Tripled], and [Perfected].”
Just as the effect activates, the chorus starts.
Asato mä sad gamaya
Asato mä sad gamaya
Tamaso mä jyotir gamaya
Mrtyor ämrtam gamaya
The music thunders louder and faster, growing ever stronger with each and every moment. As it crescendos, a blanket of cloud smothers the sky and blocks the moon, leaving only the eerie glow of the pylons and the flickering fire elementals to light the battlefield.

Then lights blaze to live around the edge of the roof, throwing my shadows onto the clouds.
“[Pandora’s Shadow].” I whisper the skill’s name with glee. My shadows glow violet and flow across the cloud deck. The battlefield is cast in their sickly, purple glow.
“No more holding back,” I mutter
From the violet clouds, thousands [Undead Shades] fall into the mortal world. The massive, free-falling narwhals connect to me and come alive. Their magic activates and they begin to float. With my magic at their call, the whale-sized undead whales swim through the air, circling Babel
I take a moment to find my retreating army, and judge they’re far enough away.
“Slaughter the elementals,” I give the order.
In a thousand flashes of violet light, my army disperses and begins wreaking havoc on anything and everything that has a core. Elementals disintegrate into black holes that leave massive craters where they happen. Anyone foolish enough to be near an elemental is instantly annihilated. Even the massive golems from Camelot are destroyed because an elemental got too close to them.
The only ones that could put up any sort of resistance are the titans. The titans, being what they are, control the mana surrounding them with such tenacity that spells near them cannot activate.
“Babel, kill the titans.”
Order Acknowledged.
Searching for Titans…
Four Titans found…
Commencing eradication
From the sides of Babel, the metal morphs into enormous turrets as large as Shadehaven.
The massive guns swivel to face their targets; Coeus, Hyperion, Oceanus, and Crius. The weapons take aim and charge up five figures of mana each. They glow, vibrant and dangerous, the air vibrates with pressure.
When the turrets fire, everything turns a bright crimson as a beam of scarlet light disintegrates the titans and everything a mile behind them in a second.
Eradication Successful.
The turrets return to unassuming walls, as though four mile-long craters weren't just created a mere moment ago.
With all the titans dead, the elementals can longer enter the mortal realm. Without a constant influx of elementals, it only takes a couple minutes for the [Undead Shades] to eradicate every single elemental within the vicinity.
When the last elemental dies, the sounds of combat cease. The only noise on the battlefield is my [Resurgent Melody].
With the war pretty much over, I reopen my Notification tab.

REMAINING SUPPRESSION CHAIN HAS COLLAPSED. DUNGEON CORE INAEQUO IS NOW UNFETTERED.
A moment passes, and I feel the mana regeneration of the dungeon core increase by orders of magnitude.
“Unfettered core realized. Would you like to commence Ragnarok?” I hear Babel speak beside me.
When I look at it, the hazy construct of energy has become a fully corporeal maid clad only in an apron. My eye twitches.
“Yes, Babel. By order of me as a [Hero], I request you to commence Ragnarok.”
For a brief moment, nothing happens, and then-
Order Acknowledged.
